    1) Baines, Brunt -> Gabbidon, Mata + 0.5m
    2) Baines, Dzeko -> Kompany, Adebayor +2.7m
    3) Baines, Dzeko -> P.Jones, Aguero

    Which is the best move?

    Right guys took a 4 point hit, wise move?

    Baines, Bent, Sess out for Kompany, Adebayor, Mata, fielding:

    Given
    Kompany Bosingwa S.Taylor
    Mata Walcott Jarvis Brunt
    Adebayor Rooney(c)Dzeko

        Yeah I could, I debated that, but I'm gonna risk Brunt up until my wildcard. Didn't wanna be without any West Brom during their "nice fixtures". He scored an offside goal as well, might secure first team for him again. What you think Demi?

          I got rid of Brunt prematurely because he was on something like 66% to fall, and then after his 0 points, i was sure he would fall yesterday so i sold him. Wish i wasn't so hasty now.

          But Sess out for Mata is a great move anyway. Sess is falling again, and Chelsea have delicious fixtures.

          You've done good transfers

          yeah seems a few are getting rid of brunt at the mo as there are a few good options around that price, so it's understandable. He had a funny time after coming back off international duty but should be scoring regular from now on I would of thought.

    Right... after having a go at the Adebayor band wagon, think I'll be joining the Aguero one this week. Young to Meireles and Dzeko to Aguero is what I'm considering. Then RvP to Rooney in time for Norwich at home.

        I should be able to afford it, if not I'm willing to take a 4 point hit for it. Not having him away to Stoke with RvP at home to Bolton... don't care about form, that just doesn't make sense to me.

          Fair enough, but stoke did concede 4 goals to sunderland today, and United are charging at full speed. i see another hattrick and another RvP frustrating day, Bolton have Cahill in defence, he's enough to see off Arsenal.

            You may be right, but before that Stoke had 6 clean sheets in 8 I believe. At home they're very solid. Bolton conceded 2 at home to Norwich this weekend, who for me are the worst team in the league. Strong argument can be made for RvP over Rooney this week.

    My frontline is:

    Rooney, Suarez, Dzeko

    Liverpool are playing terrible at the moment and Dzeko is a rotation risk.

    Is it worth swapping Dzeko/Suarez out to Agbhonlahor/Adebayor/Zamora?

    Jonathan Wilson explains what we all knew:

    http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/jonathan_wilson/09/18/united.chelsea/index.html

    Chelsea were the better side, Villas-Boas won the tactical battle, and the refereeing decision cost Chelsea the game. 😉

          Goals or passages of play happen all the time. Maybe, if Torres had scored his sitter, then it would've been a different game. As shown though, Chelsea's (Torres) didn't take the chances like United do. Chelsea will win other games this season, and United will lose games. Just have to accept it.

                That wasn't last season. Last season Luiz should've been sent off, twice and Chelsea got a dodgy pen.

                And also, two wrongs don't make a right. Drogba's goal killed our momentum and it took about 5 minutes off our time to equalise.

                  the ivanovic one his arms are down by his side as the ball is crossed against him from about 5 yards away, those are never given. iswear lampard's was a combination of double chin 😉 and chest, not shoulder, arm or hand.

            you know who this is 😉
            the ivanovic one was the weakest appeal of the lot, they're never given and rightly so. he slides in, hands by his side in a completely natural position and from no more than 5 yards away the ball is crossed against him. he has no chance of getting out the way, definition of ball to hand.
            the pen that was given (have only seen one replay) but bosingwa somehow manages a miraculous tackle and gets the ball.
            the hernandez one is a no-brainer, no pen. doesn't matter if the ref fluked the right decision, it's still right with the benefit of replays we get.
            as for the lampard one that looks like a combination of double chin, breast and chest. no shoulder, arm or hand involved.

              I'm bored of the ref bias nonsense, not only has it been disproved by stats, common sense suggests it rubs both ways. Btw, Chelsea fans crying about offside goals at OT without the smallest hint of irony is extremely amusing.

              Utd won today because they are clinical and chelsea aren't. The end.

                berbatov's miss too. on his right foot and it wasn't that much of a stretch.
                still yet to see what did did wrong for the smalling goal. he's on of the few defenders with his man. the second goal you can blame his clearance but it came after a good saving tackle and then the ball ricochettes to rooney. where was everyone else? specifically ivanovic?
