Game week 2 arrives at its conclusion this evening as Liverpool welcome Bournemouth to Merseyside for the first ever league meeting between the two clubs. After a multitude of armband options failed us again, many will be looking to Reds attack to save yet another disappointing round of results for Fantasy managers.

Certainly, Liverpool carried plenty of threat in front of their own fans last season. Despite scoring only 30 times at Anfield in 2014/15, Brendan Rodgers’ men fired a total of 331 attempts – only City and Arsenal managed more efforts when it came to home encounters.

As for Bournemouth, they arrive at Anfield boasting a fine away record in their Championship winning season, claiming eight victories and suffering just five defeats on the road, with a goal difference of plus 30.

Delving into last week’s data, though, tonight’s two sides managed just one big chance and five shots on target between them in Gameweek 1, suggesting that both sides will need to improve in the final third should they have ambitions for three points.

    Got the game in one window, and tinkering with my team in another. I've had a disastrous couple of weeks, so I've already got Aguero, Ayew and Sanchez in for a -4 this week. Is it worth a wildcard to essentially do:

    Mane, Henderson and Wilson to Silva, Mahrez and Gomis.

    I would be much happier with the latter three in my team (slight misgivings about Mahrez long term), but I'm unsure if its worth a WC to do it. Any opinions welcome.

      I think Mane will come good very soon, Henderson will get a steady supply of points much like he did last season (150-160 total) but Wilson probably needs to go. Don't be afraid to wildcard now, I have 😀
