        Sorry - but don't encourage people to have non playing subs. They will get you points out of nowhere should you need to call upon them. They soften the blow when you get an unexpected injury last minute

    I'm looking to get rid of Darmian, not because he was subbed today, but instead because I haven't seen much of him going forward unlike Shaw when he played. He's also prone to yellow cards as he likes to commit early.

          No, HVT. I got that wrong, and it seems LVG has been surprised by Martial's adaptation and already mentioned last week how ready he is physically. I'm just hoping it means Rooney will be dropped, from a United point of view, think there's better options in Mata/Herrera to play behind Martial.

            No worries Demi, I'd a feeling about Anthony and Lvg seems to say one thing and then does another.
            Darmian, Depay, Martial all good examples of lvgs style in talking players down, lvg can't be trusted really but one thing is for sure-Martial has scored his way into this team.

    The best thing to happen to Pool is the Benteke injury. Ings and Sturridge combine well and I can see a partnership forming. Coutinho should be benched and Firmino replacing him in the central spot.

    It's all or nothing now for Rodgers.

    If I want Martial, I have to sell Diouf but I'm 0.4 short of doing the move. I have 2 free transfers and other problem positions are Silva, Hazard, Gomez and Darmian.

    Ideally I'd lose Gomez but there isn't an obvious replacement for 4.3. I could do Darmian to Evans but that would still leave me with Gomez and would mean selling Darmian ahead of Sunderland at home. I'm not against doing Hazard to Pedro or even Mane but surely there's a better move out there.

    Thoughts?

      Diouf -> Martial. Yes, a no brainer really.

      I would go for Hazard -> someone cheaper.
      Sure, they got New next, but I've seen every Chelsea game so far and I don't like the fact that Hazard has been close to invisible in almost every game. Plus he missed that penalty and you could see it in his eyes that the confident and power is no longer there. He will come back and be the one and only Hazard, but it will not happen until Oct-Nov.

          Could you provide with your defending line up?

          I would go for either Ayew, Mahrez, Silva (if he's fit), Redmond (could be a really good punt) or Westwood if you just want a really cheap mid who you will bench almost all the time.

              Your defence is fine. Play Kolarov, Nyom and Darmian next week. No need for a transfer. And if one of those three doesn't get play time, Richards is there on the bench.
              Way too early to tell about Gomez, if he got dropped for just this game or also the next GWs.

                  Walcott is a big risk, but if you bold enough go for it. I would much rather see you go for Pedro, he got speed and is +90% sure to play every game.
                  I love Mane, but Southampton's upcoming fixtures doesn't look too good on paper. And he often blanks.

    What is the verdict on Martial. On here there are mixed reviews. The press seem to love him. Is he a good prospect or not? Too early perhaps? Plus, i'm bored of the repeated opinions on 'shall I do x to Martial' every 5 minutes!!!!!!!!!

      3 shots inside the box. 3 goals. Maybe he's freaking outstanding striker, but do you really think he's going to keep up that 100% conversion rate? If not, do you really think that LVG's ManU is starting to produce some attacking numbers anytime soon? If neither, then why bother with Martial (unless you count on Sunderland being the worst team of the league and have an extra FT in pocket or think that having Martial against Sunderland will win you more than 4 points relative to the alternative you could have)?
