      I tried to compare them yesterday and this morning and found that it was hard to scramble together enough information to make a good call on that.

      My gut feeling right now is too that KDB might be the slightly bigger goal threat, but again the sample size is very small and his true advantage over Silva is that he seems less injury prone as far as I know. I'm backing Silva to outscore him per minute over the season I think, but right now I feel safer with KDB.

      Silva always get Subbed early for Nasri or Navas or even Bony. KDB then gets the 10 spot and plays full 90. Vs harder grind games city don' t score until 70mins +..

    After second week - my team was a total abomination - @2.57 million at that time -- I decided to use the wc rather than take some hits

    six green flags later - currently nestled up to a shade under 6k

    what i have taken from this - do not be afraid to use wildcard early - it can (with a bunch of luck) salvage a season. If I had waited, it probably would have been too late to make a major move. Also taking hits (when added up over a season) will drag you down.

      I fear I'm in that latter category. I usually hold my WC to after Jan and it worked ok for me (won my ML and finished 20kish... was hoping to crack top 10k this season but I started crap and have been so reluctant to trade...

      mind you I've given the game way less thought this year and spent about a quarter of the time I normally would on it.

    What would you do? 1FT, £0.9m ITB. Rondon at (H) to SUN is lovely but I can't help but feel the need to ditch him and Darmain for say, Lukaku/Pelle and someone like Dawson for -4. I'd have to do it sooner rather than later too..

          Is the reason your on WC now in order to be able to afford the players you think you'll want?

    Some really good games on MOTD tonight...top stuff.

    Where the hell do Chelsea go from here ?...just poor....

    I'm reminded of a clip I saw many years ago with SAF talking to one of his up and coming players on camera. The lad had played well in a training match and looked like he was expecting some praise...he was disappointed.

    SAF told him he wasn't that interested when players were playing well, scoring goals and winning matches and that he was a lot more interested how they were when they were playing badly, not scoring goals and not winning matches...

          Well he can't keep up that rate of scoring if he's not on the pitch, so you're right. Still playing for a side that score lots of goals, and on pens. You have Vardy though, as you say, so could be worth it. Mane is dynamite and will score well throughout the season + better team
