Our delve into the Gameweek 9 data comes around tonight, as we cast an eye over City’s weekend goal heroes in our first members article of the week. Arsenal’s midfield differentials and Newcastle’s four-goal Dutchman are on our radar, whilst we also asses a couple of overlooked recruits for our five-man backlines ahead of the weekend deadline.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

I'd play Mata and Lukaku. They'll be up for the big games.
Between Mane and Pelle? Probably bench Pelle.
I think Sakho and Skrtel can handle Pelle physically.

"Cedricgate" reminds me of the time I wrote a massive email to Ladbrokes during the 2002 World Cup when I had a free £10 bet on Rio Ferdinand to be the first goalscorer against Denmark at 33-1 and they adjudged the first goal of the match that heavily deflected off Sorensen in the Denmark goal via a Ferdinand header to be an own goal, and paid out on the second goalscorer (Michael Owen) instead, despite FIFA awarding the first goal to Ferdinand.

It was a massive email about how they should retrospectively honour FIFA's decision and they breached their own rules (which I went through with a fine toothcomb) by paying out immediately when there was doubt about who the first goalscorer was, how this was a bad way to treat a new customer etc etc - it was War and Peace.

The kicker though is that they actually paid out on both Ferdinand and Owen in the end as the first goalscorer, and the money was paid into my account straight away. This decision was actually made 5 minutes after I started writing the email which took me over an hour to write, so in the end they got a stroppy email from me moaning about not paying out on Ferdinand when they actually has already done this an hour earlier.

    @KingOzil....for what it's worth...

Mourinho is busy blaming anybody and everybody for Chelsea's demise...from refs and his own medical staff right through to his best players.....IMO he only needs to look in the mirror...

Six months ago Chelsea were one of the best attacking teams in the prem and he decided, wrongly, to spend the last few games of last season simply looking for draws and parking the bus. He took all the momentum out of that team and nobody else. And they haven't recovered.

I totally agree that his moaning is pretty stupid. But highly disagree on the latter. He did what was needed to be done. The title was more important than attractive football. Biggest mistake he did was that he didn't use the market properly. And frankly the dip in form of Hazard, Terry, Ivan, Matic, Costa was really unexpected. There are too many out there who hate Mourinho and some of the criticism is uncalled for. But he should learn to take the blame for this mess.

And should sort it. He is the best manager we have. His heart is with us and no way he should be sacked. His achievements are really top notch. And we should remember that we are judging him on just 25% of the season. Just last season he was a champion. Hopefully he'll get it right. Looking difficult. But still feel he's the man for us.

I'm absolutely sure he'll get it right again....and Hazard will come good again at some point. However....The fact is they haven't recovered their attacking intent since he decided to park the bus...he needs to stop the emphasis on defence....he went too far and even now continues to emphasise it.

Having a tight defence is what wins you silverware. One thing you can be sure with Mou is that you'll never see attractive football. We knew what we were gonna get when we signed him. I'm hoping we recover sooner rather than later. Things could go really bad if we dont improve.

Asked about the Arsenal line-up for Everton on the previous page. Only one thought of Theo moving to the wing, even I didn't even think about it. Is that something Wenger wouldn't go for since he likes to have sort of an attacking mid as one of the wingers?

I was planning to switch to 352 with Ayoze and keep him as an 8th attacker after the good fixtures, but his underlying shooting stats really put me off. I went for Lukaku and stick with 343, I think it's a safer transfer.

I think it could be best to hold tight with your FT this week and just ride Martial playing in the derby. I think Coleman will make it worth it.

Hard to say as Coleman's season has been too stop start to form a good idea of his attacking potential. Also, think Jagielka is pretty good baps-wise.

You don't fancy a Everton defender from gw11 ? It seems sensible to bring one in, best run of fixtures from any team so far in the whole game I think

                        Not really tbh.

I'd don't think Coleman is anywhere near his attacking best of a few seasons ago.

And I'm not sure exactly how tight they will be.

5.4/5.9 is big spend for an Everton defender IMO.

Ties up probably £1m more than I'd want Jay.

Is Moreno not good enough to be fixed with a cheap cover?

It's inevitable that I'll get Hazard again I'll need some cash for that.

Maybe Özil too I'll need cash for that.

Id be reluctant to bust the value structure of my team too much.
