Aaron Ramsey is ruled out for the Gunners. West Ham remain without the injured Winston Reid, Joel Ward is back in contention for Palace, whilst Ola Toivonen returns to training for Sunderland ahead of the Wear-Tyne derby.
Arsene Wenger expects Aaron Ramsey to be out of action until after the next international break, with the midfielder having suffered a hamstring injury in the midweek win over Bayern Munich. David Ospina is also ruled out with a shoulder problem and could also be unavailable till mid-November. Gabriel is back in full training after being sidelined through illness last weekend. Mikel Arteta misses out against his former club after sustaining an ankle injury in training.
Winston Reid has failed to recover from a back problem and remains out for the weekend visit of Chelsea. Everyone else is okay, confirms Bilic, though Victor Moses will miss out due to the terms of his loan agreement.
Connor Wickham and Marouane Chamakh remain sidelined through injury for Palace’s trip to Leicester, Alan Pardew has confirmed. The Eagles boss is also without the suspended Dwight Gayle up top, though Joel Ward is back in contention in defence.
Leonardo Ulloa is ruled out of Leicester’s clash with Palace due to a minor thigh problem, though could return in time for the midweek cup clash with Hull.
Bournemouth are still uncertain over the availability of goalkeeper Artur Boruc, with Eddie Howe revealing that a late decision will be made on the Pole’s fitness, after he sustained a thigh injury at the Etihad last weekend. Andrew Surman and Marc Pugh are both available after fully recovering from their knocks, while Lee Tomlin is also expected to be okay after illness. Meanwhile Howe says “it remains to be seen” whether Harry Arter will be involved this weekend.
Earlier this morning, Tony Pulis conceded that James Morrison remains a doubt for West Brom’s trip to Norwich due to an ongoing ankle problem.
Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores has suggested that Valon Behrami is a doubt to face the Potters, with the Swiss midfielder injuring his calf during the international break. Behrami returned to the bench last weekend but is still uncertain to feature. Fellow summer signing Jose Manuel Jurado is also ruled out as he continues to battle with a hamstring injury.
Garry Monk has confirmed that Wayne Routledge is the only doubt for Swansea’s trip to Villa Park. The winger missed out against Stoke with a calf injury and will be assessed ahead of the weekend.
Sunderland’s Ola Toivonen is back in training after missing last weekend’s defeat to West Brom with a groin injury sustained during the recent international break.
Roberto Martinez has revealed that Tom Cleverley will be assessed before a decision is made on his availability for the weekend trip to the Emirates. The midfielder made his comeback from an ankle injury for the U21’s as he continues to build up his match fitness.
Steve McClaren has delivered a positive update ahead of the weekend derby against Sunderland, confirming that everyone is fit, including Kevin Mbabu and Rolando Aarons who have both returned to training this week. Elsewhere goalkeeper Rob Elliot has admitted that he’s still undergoing rehab on a thigh injury despite returning to first-team action last weekend.
