Villa rank second bottom for shots on target (10) over the last four Gameweeks, so it’s little surprise that the West Midlanders netted just three goals in their previous five outings, drawing three blanks in the process. If they are to stand a chance of rebuffing Spurs’ attack, Macdonald will need to inspire a vast improvement at the back, given that Villa conceded 10 goals in their last four away clashes.
