Having assessed the stand-out Defenders over the last four Gameweeks yesterday evening, we now turn our attentions to the centre of the park. Arsenal, Tottenham and Bournemouth’s playmakers feature in our analysis, whilst we also take a look at some in-form protagonists from Everton, Liverpool, Man City and Newcastle as the search for a Dimitri Payet replacement intensifies.
Ighalo started and is still playing for Nigeria against Swaziland. 0-0 70'
Ighalo is so GW11.
Ireland: Randolph, Coleman, Clark, Keogh, Ward; Whelan, McCarthy; Hendrick, Hoolahan, Brady; Murphy
Poor enough team.
Whelan or Coleman (c)?Source?

One of the more well traveled journeyman. What a hero.
Hope he wins it for you tonightWhere did my MURPHY in big letters go!?
Wait until GW16 before bringing in Kun?
Typically he is slow coming back after an international break.
First 2 games back are against tougher opponents.
Third game back is away from home and this season he is yet to net on the road.
GW15 he faces a Stoke side which are on a 3 game streak CURRENTLY.
Lukaku Kane Vardy looks good for a few more weeks anyway.
Thoughts?My plan exactly
Agree

He's not on international duty.
Liverpool will start Lovren and he netted h)Saints last season.
3rd game back is @Stoke. He braced their last season.
(See above)
For every argument there is always a counter.
Anyone seen le Tissier's eng-spai xi? 😆
Think he added kane over costa for the sake of argumentYes but Smalling deserved to be in there
Over Pique and Ramos? Huh.
Funny how 8 good months against mostly average sodes make smalling one of the best in the world
Pique and ramos are proven world class players proven in ucl and world cupsIn 8 months he's played every team in the Premier League.
Smalling is a quality CB, one of the best in the league.Pique and Ramos are better atm though 🙂
Best in the league and best in the world are very different
Most pl sides are average conpared to the top ucl teams ramos and pique play every yearThis. Check our forum mate, ty.
I've read it. I have nothing to add atm though 🙂
We've got over a week to go, so still planning my own strategy.Ok, cool.
He's been really good but gets over praised because he was muck before that. Similar case with a lot of players in the premier league.
Also helps that United are the most supported club in the country and his praises will be sung a lot more than if he player for another club. Comments above a good example.
But then again, Pique and Ramos play for Barca and Madrid.. Its the Sergio Busquets conundrum.
lol
Not really
I'm English, for a realistic XI you'd want to ask someone who isn't bias...
Morata?
Lol
Morata?
Lol
Casillas, Pique, Bartra, Alba, Mario, Thiago, Busquets, Cesc, Iniesta, Costa, Alcaer
Pub team
Cesc is playing. England have got this 😉
Break time for Mata and DDG. 😉
Belgium XI vs Italy: Mignolet; Cavanda, Alderweireld, Lombaerts, Vertonghen; Witsel, Nainggolan; De Bruyne, Hazard, Carrasco; Lukaku.
Is this match televised?
No injuries please
Or an injury on KdB to make it easy for me to make my transfer...
England Team: 1 Hart 2 Walker 3 Bertrand 4 Carrick 5 Jones 6 Smalling 7 Lallana 8 Delph 9 Barkley 10 Kane 11 Sterling #SPAvENG
England subs: 12 Clyne 13 Butland 14 Stones 15 Dier 16 Cahill 17 Gibbs 18 Shelvey 19 Rooney 20 Alli 21 Heaton #SPAvENG
Ohhh vardy banned for the gesture then
Injured
Injured
Is his injury serious or will be fit for next weekwnd??
Delph. 😮
Ridiculous.
Yikes
It's a shame Milner and Walcott are out.
Oh dear.
David Warner to break the cricket world record tomorrow. Put your house on it
which record?
Not Sir Brian Charles Lara's record.
Yeah - I said (to my wife this morning) that he might do that - but his rate would slow down because he'd be nervous. Chances of doing it? 10/1
50/1
Ighalo to Kane worth a hit?
Certainly not, Ighalo has a good run of fixtures. If you have Pelle dump him for Harry.
COYBIG!
+1
Is N. Ireland full strength against Latvia?
OK So this KDB vs Ozil debate is killing me!
If had to pick one
-->Ozil
+ Super form in last 5 matches
+ Great Fixtures
+ 1.5mn cheaper
+ Major Set piece duty except penalties
- Doesnt shoot
- Plays for a little less attacking team
-->KDB
+ Better probability of his chances being converted when Aguero starts
+ More chances for him to finish with Silva on pitch
+ More Shot prone than Ozil
+ More attacking team
- Mediocre Current Form
- Mediocre Upcoming Fixtures
- 1.5mn more expensive
- Some set pieces maybe be stolen by Silva, I think already Yaya and Kolorov steal some...
Ozil = (+4) - 2 = 2
KDB = (+4) - 4 = 0
So Think I will go ahead with Ozil transfer tonight!
Please kindly add other rough areas I ignored so I can make a better informed decision! As in Going with KDB-->Ozil for free to get some Aguero funds
I'm benching KDB this GW. Think he is not so hot as he was few weeks ago, while Ozil should bring us some consistency. Would like to see the rest of your team, maybe there are better ways of getting Kun but this move is reasonable.
We're set up much more defensively than usual. Woy must be trying out his tactics against the top sides.
....................Hart
Walker Smalling Jones Bertrand
.............Delph Carrick
.....Lallana...Barkley Sterling
....................KaneNot a very nice XI in my opinion 🙁 and against a Spain side not playing their #1 GK maybe we should have decided to play more aggressively/?
IMO our best XI is:
Hart; Walker Smalling Stones Baines; Milner, Alli, Barkley; Sterling Rooney Walcott
433Hmmm.
Alli -> Noble? 🙂
Not right now, I'm a bit off form.
I'd have Wilshere ahead of Alli, fitness permitting. And Kane 100% ahead of Rooney. England needs a goalscorer.
Yeah, I was torn on both of those.
Walker and Alli have been terrific this season, so wanted to put them in 🙂
Who knows if Wilshere still has it...His injuries affect him for sure, but he's still the best England's got.
Is this just in general or are you excluding the injured players?
Kyle Walker? 😆
No DM?
Rooney over Kane/Sturridge?
I think that's pretty awful, but then again I couldn't care less about England.Forget the third though tbf...
Rooney isn't as good as Kane/Sturridge but he's the captain at the end of the day.Indeed that midfield would get destroyed.
Carrick is rubbish, though. 😕
I'm shittin it
Randolph, Coleman, Keogh, Clark, Ward, McCarty, Whelan(ffs), Brady, Hendrick, Murphy
And Hoolanhan
No Walters?
Suspended for the 1st leg
Is oshea allowed back next leg if he's fit? 😐
Yeah
There is a sh1t load of players who could miss the 2nd leg if they get a yellow tonight too.
Great news that, pity Glenn Whelan isn't one!
Suspended along with oshea
Knock one out, it will take the edge off
Snap
Though I do like the team that we're fielding.
Hopefully Keane might come on if Murphy does nowt. Glad Brady has been taken out of LBYeah, so much this as regards Brady, he was making me nervous back there and on his day can be a potent threat in attack
Ward ain't much better though. Clark is another a walking accident at the back 🙁
Hmm, I haven't really seen much of Clark, didn't think he was too bad though. Did he not have a decent game vs. City?
Didn't see it, but any time I've seen him he's looked dodgy. O'Shea is a huge miss.
He was decent.
Ward is my fear tbh, in conjunction to a number of others on the pitch.
better than being disappointed in the end....go Hendrick!
I'll still be disappointed in the end!
When are the draws of FIFFSA? Half Time?
i think they moved to tomorrow afternoon
Bosnia v Ireland predictions?
1-0 Bosnia. But hopefully 1-1
1-2 or 2-2 late goal from Keane.
I'd take that!
2-0
I think I might actually go Coutinho and Giroud over Ozil and Benteke, Maverick 🙂
As the charges have been not filed by FA for almost 1 week after Vardy Obscene gesture incidence, he is off the hook right??
Such a ruckus by English media for nothingCuz he a whiteboi
He is England's most precious icon now.
Cazorla rest. Thank you, del Bosque!
You got Cazorla? 😯
Groin Injury though should be back next gw
fail
Injection for groin injury will be the recovery. Check.
FIFFSA Draw at 20:30?
Heard it's been moved, any source??Balders sorted everything... Jaffa will do the draw
Check the FIFFSA article. Not confirmed either way, there is a chance it will be tomorrow though
What's the frontline everyone is trying to have in a couple of weeks when Aguero is fully fit?
-Ighalo seems way to good value to drop him but less 'essential' than others
-Vardy in the form of his life but though fixtures
-Lukaku best fixtures but still remains a bit of a fpl troll
-Kane also decent fixtures but not great, getting back in his last years form but a high price tag
-Pelle has some decent fixtures apart from City but only 1 goal in 4 games now
-Benteke finding the net again with good run of fixtures upcomingI'll have Aguero Kane Ighalo after this GW.
Dropping Vardy after the Newcastle game?
I am currently without.
I couldn't afford him for the long term setup I am working towards
Myhill - Butland/4.0
Kolarov - Moreno - Alderwierld/Dawson - Cathcart - Williams
Sanchez - KDB - Ozil - Mahrez - 4.3
Aguero - Kane - IghaloLooks good, I'm probably doing Payet + Pelle --> Ozil + Lukaku this week
How would you fit Aguero in this front 8?
Sanchez KDB Ozil Mane Mahrez
Lukaku Vardy Ighalo
Thinking about KDB and Vardy to 5.0 and Aguero, considering Arsenal's nice run of fixtures I'd rather keep Sanchez and OzilYeah, that sounds fine. Is there a way it can be Mane over KDB? Like raising funds from defence?
Hmm not really
But City's fixtures aren't that great and Saints have some easy games coming up as well.Mane scored today for Senegal btw
Aguero - Vardy - Kane my planned frontline.
Currently with Pellè but will do Pellè > Aguero in a gameweek. Not getting LukakuI'm looking at Pelle --> Lukaku this gameweek,
Not sure who to sell for Aguero after the Saints game
Just found this article about spurs' defending via Facebook from Che Pochettino
https://forensiconions.wordpress.com/2015/11/11/che-pochs-revolutionary-insurgency-advancing/
Great stuffJamie Vardy price for next season: 14m
Seriously, it'll probably be like £9.0 or £9.5 (likewise to Kane)
Lol he probably won't even be in the prem next season. Barca n real scouts watching
Yeah right. More like Tamworth. I love Vardy - he's extremely fast and works his socks off for the mighty Foxes. But this is his zenith - all slowly downhill from here.
If you owned
Myhill (ARS) and Butland (sou)
And you have 2 Saints Attackers (Pellè + Manè) with 0 Arsenal Attackers. Who would you play? Myhill probably right so you have something to hope for?I have both Arsenal and Sot attackers along with Myhill and Butland. I'm going with Butland purely based on form and he has the comparatively easier fixture.
But if I play Butland, I'll have 2 Saints attackers facing him; doesn't add much to the maximum points I can get.
In your case I'd probably play Butland but slightly edging towards Myhill here...To increase points potential, I think it's better for you to play Myhill.
So Roy starts Jones, Carrick and Delph, despite only having played 90 mins four times this season between them.
Stones, Dier and Shelvey meanwhile have played all season and looked good, he should pick on current form not reputation/clubsAgree.
Calm down its a friendly . they will play the next game.
yeah but why not play our strongest line up against top opposition? may as well play your strongest team with a view of building some chemistry ahead of the euros.
In complete agreement. I would have given Alli serious consideration too.
Shelvey really hasn't been THAT good at all. Hugely overrated and shouldn't be anywhere near an England starting team, not yet anyway...
Barkley, Henderson, Dier, Alli are all better. Probably Delph too.fair enough regarding Shelvey, that was just a suggestion of a player that's actually played this season. I'd have hendo or Alli over Carrick/Delph too.
Completely agree with that. Best starting XI when everyone is fit IMO...
Hart; Clyne, Smalling, Stones, Shaw; Dier, Henderson, Barkley; Walcott/Sturridge, Kane, Sterling
4-3-3
COYBIG
