Happened to me with stoke defenders in the past, you save him f or the good cs fixtures and they end up bing dropped. Currently got de laet who at least not even starting games, so less of a worry.
Go for it. I want Wilkinson or Shawcross but more pressing issues for me.

Defo. nasri and mata are just too risky to have, with them being the ist subject to rotation.
Can always get them back when they hit some real consistent hot form, which i doubt will happen anytime soon.
Hell yea, Nasri always a rotation risk and Mata is doing nothing for you at all. Ramsey should do well against Chelsea anyway and the games after chelsea are good for him, VDV is always someone to bank on at the minute.

The only thing that stopped me from doing that same move (but I used my WC) is the fact aguero maybe rested for Villareal. Then again he may not be used in carling cup. Perhaps waiting for that game to be over maybe wise as you have plenty in bank so can take a rise from Aguero. I agree with Mannioni on Adam, but that is up to. As for Given, you can see what you feel like after Norwich game on your WC.

yes there is a point. i had adebayor and decided to bring vdv in for young this last week. ended up being a great decision as adebayor only got 2 (4 for me cuz i decided to captain him over vdv). the two of them together you are pretty much guarenteed any spurs returns and often double if one assists the other. especially given their nice run of fixtures id say its a good idea

Why not? I have got VDV in to have a front 8 of:
Dyer, Silva, VDV, Cabaye, Walters
Rooney, Ade, Sturridge.
Look at fixtures, they are sexy for spurs. The fact that you could have Silva, Ade, VDV, Rooney and Nani for upcoming fixtures is mouthwatering. So yeah I think there is a point of having VDV despite having Ade. Suarez is only Pool attacker I would consider.
As for Aguero not playing vs Wolves, I have no crystal ball. But Silva and Aguero didnt play versus Villa and they won 4-1, and went on to beat villareal.

yeah aguero could be a risk, i would be tempted not to risk it, VDV however, very well he may not turn up next week after putting him in, but the guy is going from strength to strength, proving everyone wrong, so im banging him in whatever the risk, i no longer care, lol, took enough risks with nasri and mata who have not performed whilst VDV is just there laughing his balls off at me 🙂

Spurs have him on form at the moment, and i dont see Harry not playing his best player of the moment due to the fact there is much less rotation risk at Spurs.

Yea i think sturridge could easily do just as much damage as torres, for a cheaper price. With Arsenal's defence not being that brilliant can see sturridge's speed, more then torres, getting through it!
Sturridge will still play along with Torres now drogba is out of the picture for sure. He does play on the right but he comes in a hell of alot to score. I think it will take Torres one PL game to get back into it again then after that he will be firing im sure. Don't think you will regret it, then maybe take the hit next week.
I have an incline and a feeling that he should be playing against the easier sides. Because his crosses etc just rip those type of sides apart. Whereas against United today, they needed quick to feet passing and i dont see Nasri being that much of a player compared to others in City.
Mata dont give you that much, Nasri will if he plays and i think he will.

I just worked out that:
Nasri has scored 42 points in 452 minutes, thats 0.093 points per minute.
Silva has scored 59 points in 711 minutes, thats 0.083 points per minute.
So points per minute Nasri is better, but does that matter if he's playing less minutes leading to less points :-/ Is it worth hanging on to him just in case he starts the next few games?

Van Persie is a better player than Rooney but Rooney plays in a better team. RVP would walk onto any team in the world, he is unreal.
So in terms of fantasy football Rooney is the one to stick with... I hate not having RVP though.

He's a petulant idiot. Is one of the most talented players in league but his attitude is a disgrace. Made a fool of himself storming down tunnel too, he has a serious superiority complex and needs to learn that it's a team game! I can't quite put my finger on it, but something about that doesn't seem quite right......
I think in some part it's to an overemphasis on measuring and lack of knowledgeable judgment. A harmless shot on target from 35 yds can boost a player in terms of stats but creative play which can lead to a real pressuring of a defense or a goal goes unmeasured unless you provide the "assist". There is no real measure for the true influence a player like Silva can have on a game.
It'll be interesting to see what he gets tomorrow. I fully expect no more than 1 BP at best
We're basically looking at
Dzeko - 2 goals + 1 assist
Ballotelli - 2 goals
Silva - 1 goal + 1 assist + 2 "assist assists" and general ruling of the game
Cant see Dzeko not getting 3. Who gets the 1 & 2 between the other two might really give some insight into raw goals versus other positive contribution but I think we all know the answer already
It is interesting and it's something that will hopefully evolve in future seasons but for now I think that goals and assists are automatically rewarded with their respective points. They should not mean an almost automatic entree to the baps. Van Persie's two goals were worth far more and his impact on his game far greater than that of Dzeco for example.
Mata out for VDV, Petrov out for Tiote, Van persie out for Aguero, four point hit. I'm pretty sure these transfers will make up for it. I'm planning on bringing Persie back in next week as Arsenal fixtures are much more favorable than City's (with less risk rotation for VP). Chelsea are no pushovers, especially at home...my conscience is clear with my decision. Right choice lads?
Aguero could be rested for the wolves game. See him being used during the week against Villareal.

Even better, Chelsea will have a dismembered defence, in which has been poor this season so far already Plus RVP is in proper form, would never doubt him putting a few against any team. likely to score, sure to play = Better peace of mind for a fantasy football manager.

Yeah, ain't no reason to not trust Chelsea's defense...they do let in goals, but very little...and at home? Stronger...Arsenal has leakier defense, imo.
I doubt he will be rested (assuming he wont be playing in the Carling Cup)
End of the day, he's coming back from injury and match fitness and sharpness is just as important as not being over-tired, and he's only played a total of 100 minutes in the last three EPL gameweeks
Strikers need time on the pitch to keep their eye in and if he seriously cant play a premier league game at the weekend and a CL game mid week after then there's something wrong
Great comment Larkytown. I agree, he's the main striker and will play the epl and champion's league matches when fit. Carling cup will be perfect for the likes of Dzeko, Balotelli, Johnson, Nasri, etc., but the main guns will be used for the more important matches.
