Chelsea looked good for having 9 men for the majority of the game but some really sloppy defending left them down a goal and two men. QPR did precious little with their advantage but they held on for all 3 points so that's something I suppose...

My answer would be he deserves some but it isn't going to happen because the new bonus point system is completely data driven so goalscorers and assisters will be given the BPs and anyone who has had an outstanding MotM type performance without a goal or an assist will be confined to the depths of BP hell unless they are made about 23 saves or clearances off the line.

I did two kneejerking transfers so far, can't afford any point hit to ship Woodgate out anymore.
Luckily it doesn't matter much to me since I have Simpson coming in for Woodgate but I am starting Woodgate and I think he will start.

I think he needs to go. I can get Ryan "perpetually on the verge of a price rise for the last three weeks" in, and VDV for Nani, but then that leaves me with 0.2 in the bank which I don't feel comfortable with. I always like about 1M for emergencies.
I am having 4.3 million in my bank now. That's a huge amount that allows me to do any transfers.
But I am still keeping my faith on Woodgate, he haven't earn me a point yet since I brought him in. Damn.

Getting in VDV is my priority but I also think to get anywhere I really need a city forward. What are people's thoughts on these:

Ade to Aggers is going to cost you a 4 point hit (as you point out) which I don't think is worth it seeing he is a big rotation risk.
You have Silva already so he will cover you for Man C.
Bannan is off pennos, so is not as attractive a prospect as he was before Bent's return.
Your defence is pretty expensive and points are hard to come by in defence (particularly BPs) so I'd flog two of those and then upgrade your front line, since your mids look ok.

I'm not grovelling for thanks for my own posts, but it just seems that last season then posters generally thanked other posters for their advice, good or bad, and this doesn't happen on a regular basis anymore.Probably due to the influ of posters from the official FPL site.

I think it depends on the poster, really. Some people appreciate the time spent to answer and others don't. If people can't manage a simple thank you then you shouldn't bother with them again.

How does it work with price rises following price drops? I have sessegnon and moses who have lost loads in value. Does it need a smaller number of people buying them to bring them back towards their original level? Or is it set at the same level as everyone else? Have been planning to ship sess out on my wild card, but he rotates perfectly with arfa and has decent fixtures. If it won't take long for his price to rise back up a few points then it might clinch it. Then I could sell him, if necessary.

Having Nani-Mata-Silva-VDV-Ade-RVP and Sturridge doesnt save up much room for Shawcross..at 4.0 I can deal with rotation.
Also, Suarez' replacement is between Rooney/RVP and Aguero but I will probably get RVP as he has brilliant fixtures for a while and Ill have Nani and Silva already.
