Following the weekend result at the theatre of nightmares, I finally find the enthusiasm to pick myself off the floor, dust down and into the studio. As I would expect, Mark isn’t too keen to let things pass unmentioned.

I quickly switch the discussion to my 70-point weekend. I’m a happy man with a Van, with smatterings of Suarez frustration and Dzeko regret thrown in.

Two things I regret from this episode. I kind of hope nobody hears me mention coveting Nicklas Bendtner. It’s like I’ve just come out. Anyway, I’ve joined the support group.

Secondly, I tempted fate spectacularly by mentioning that Luis Suarez had failed to score more than once in a match for Liverpool. Hours later, he kicked me in the unmentionables for the second time in a week. The swine.

Oh and another thing, I went into to the recording with one mission – to mention the early kick-off at Goodison on Saturday, giving us the luxury of seeing the team-sheets before the deadline. I forgot. If only it was as easy to forget Sunday lunchtime.

Sturridge and Mata will definitely play. They won't be needed for Genk. Not so sure about Silva. He might start, but be subbed off early.

just a few reason why i'm backing Suarez for captain this weekend

Liverpool have won nine of the 10 PL meetings between West Brom.

Liverpool have hit the woodwork nine times, more than any other team in the league this season.

know the Aguero stance but i refuse to right Suarez off as a "1 goal a game striker"

that's exactly my point.do we judge on previous form or ongoing potential.

the fact that he didn't score shouldn't impact on the decision to play him or another striker in the following game.

Keep Murphy - Although away from home, he's on pens and set pieces. Potential for magic.

Keep Allen - Is at home and seems to play regularly enough. Swans create chances at home so has a decent shout of contributing.

Leave out Ramsey - Although playing in a fairly attacking role nowadays, he will probably be consumed by the Chelsea midfield. His chances will be limited and has dodgy form against similar sides this season (OG against Liverpool).

      Just my thoughts mate!

JAMES - in reply to your "Since when could you work out other people’s transfers?"

You could always do it, last year you could go into someones transfer history work out how much they bough someone for then how much they would be able to sell them for add this to their preious bank subtract their new bank, then look for players at that price.

My rival done it to me all the time last year 🙁

Ah OK I see what you're saying.

Its therefore possible to GUESS. But without knowing who they sold, its not possible to work out who they bought, is it?

I hadnt noticed this feature had been removed. I did use it successfully once or twice to determine a rivals transfer, but also got it wrong sometimes 🙂

Im thinking of bottling out of captaining Nasri because im concerned I will end up with a 2 point captain if he makes a 10 min appearance tomorrow.

Although if i remove him as captain he will probably play and score double figure points.

As potentially monstrous as Nasri can be, I think your decision should just simply be no!

There's no point in taking such a risk.

Trust me, I've been burned many the same way before. If you do captain him he will DEFINITELY play 5 mins. If you don't captain him he will DEFINITELY score double figures.

RVP will flatline in price this week but rise next week. Luyz might be a joke, but from an Fantasy point of view he could be gold... admitedly not right now, but if he gets back into the line up and gets match sharp again, he dribbles, asists and scores as many goals as Torres prior to the Man Utd game

I think Vorm is a better choice than Ruddy. Swansea's home record is what's going to save them this season, imo.

I share your first three defenders, recently selling Bosingwa for Smalling - ManUs run to Xmas is attractive. Chelsea's defence is not so attractive.

Concerned for your two Newcastle defenders - they've got a tough run coming up.

Midfield is really good, but who is Allen? Surprising not to see nani or Young (I have the former).

Strikeforce is very good, but assume you don't have the funds to upgrade Aguero to RVP or Rooney at any stage(?). Sturridge is excellent choice (wish I had him), and Adebayor will hopefully prove his worth over the enxt several GWs, though personally I'd like to switch him for Balotelli.

    Guys,
suarez is unlikely to play so should i either

    swap him out for Balotelli
    OR
Bring in VDV for Nani this week and take suarez out next week ??
Both transfers will take a four point hit as I've already used my free ..

Im playing a head to head tourney and my opponent has Suarez also .. i could take a four point hit and hope balotelli does well .. 6points plus
or hope VDV does well (6pts plus )
