    Is it worth playing Arnie ahead of KdB this week? KdB has been horrible away from home but Arnie is playing WBA

      Kdb should have had an assist yday had it not been for agueros poor finish. Still on z lot of set pieces and looks pretty solid for a start on Saturday imo

    I can't stand how boring this season has become because of so many great cheap options. We really need to have the likes of Payet and Alexis back from injuries, and Costa, Silva, Aguero and Hazard back in form, to make things interesting again. It has been almost impossible to get a good dofferential so far - 99% of our attempts to make some ground and outscore people with template players (Mahrez, Ighalo, Lukaku) ended up in complete disasters.

    I really hope the so-called "big hitters" will start justifying their prices in FPL. In fact, I see this as the only way for me to enjoy the game again and to mix things up. This era of the template front 8 has to end, better sooner than later. Maybe even the January transfer window will bring some new interesitng names to the game. There is hope...

      I don't feel it is very template at all, no different from any other season really - I actually think it is more exciting

        past 2 seasons have been awful for everyone FPL wise, 5 weeks in theirs already a template team and you can't catch up what ever you do. But if those so called big hitters decide to turn up soon then maybe it will be game on.

              he was until a wk ago, that's the problem. As soon as theirs any Differential they hop on to it and you get no where. Theirs not enough happening at the same time and if all those players you mentioned start scoring then it would make it interesting.

            Because I had a terrible start. Thererfore, I tried to catch up by getting differentials and I tried to avoid popular players, as I thought buying highly-owned players would get me nowhere. I was so wrong, but life goes on. 😀

            smartarse comments aside though - I completely disagree.

            In previous seasons its been much more boring - captain Aguero/Suarez every single week, players like Bale, Lampard, Haz etc you have to have all season. This year you have to think about your captain every week and play with a lot more imagination and dare I say skill..

    Away tomorrow morning until Saturday afternoon so some advice now would be hugely appreciated. I have 2 FT.s, current squad is:

    DDG McCarthy
    Kolarov walker Evans Kosc Bennett
    Kdb Mahrez Ozil barkley alli
    Vardy Lukaku kane

    Tempted to either use a transfer to get Hennessey as back up keeper or do kolarov to a Stoke defender. Any other team worth investing in at the back? Can see Clichy getting a decent number of games going forward. Cheers guys

        Indeed. I've had a similar woes with him, though not as bad as yours. I play him, he either doesn't get the CS or is injured and Spurs get it. I bench him, he gets the CS. This is the first time I got it right with him. Benching him again at Everton
