The EA SPORTS Player Performance Index scores are now available and the Fantasy Premier League Bonus points have now been added to the game. Here’s our breakdown of how they map out for Gameweek ten…

Chelsea 3 Arsenal 5
Van Persie 3, Santos & Walcott 2

The only share of FPL bonus this week comes amongst the Arsenal ranks, with Theo Walcott and Andre Santos tied on identical EA PPI scores having both notched at Stamford Bridge. Robin Van Persie is a clear leader however; he collected the Gameweek’s leading PPI score of 67. Chelsea’s Frank Lampard ranked third overall in this match but was denied bonus by the tied Arsenal pairing.

Everton 0 Man United 1
Hernandez 3, Evra 2, De Gea 1

Javier Hernandez’s strike proved decisive at Goodison and, not surprisingly, proved enough to earn him the highest EA PPI on show and the three bonus points. In a game devoid of any strong attacking performers, it was two United defensive players who ranked next, with Patrice Evra recording a PPI of 24 thanks to assist. David De Gea’s saves fetched him 21 PPI this week. Ji-Sung Park just missed out on bonus with a PPI of 20.

Norwich 3 Blackburn 3
Hoilett 3, Johnson 2, Samba 1

As we predicted last night, it was Junior Hoilett who emerged with the top ranked PPI score and the maximum bonus. Indeed, our forecast for this game proved spot-on, as Bradley Johnson and Blackburn’s Chris Samba picked up the remaining points. Morten Gamst Pedersen and Norwich’s Steve Morison were just a couple of PPI points behind that trio.

Tottenham 3 QPR 1
Van der Vaart 3, Bale 2, Lennon 1

Tottenham’s in-form Dutchman prevails for the maximum bonus – surprisingly recording a stronger EA PPI than two-goal hero Gareth Bale. Van der Vaart’s PPI of 63 will be broken down in our Scout review of the weekend tomorrow but, right now, it looks as though his efforts on target played a part in him nicking top spot from Bale. Aaron Lennon, with two assists from yesterday’s game, earned the remaining bonus.

Man City 2 Wolves 1
Kolarov 3, Dzeko 2, Johnson 1

The winning goal from Aleksandar Kolarov was enough to earn him the top PPI score in this match, just edging out Edin Dzeko in second spot. This again, was a tough one to predict and, while we went for Yaya Toure in our forecast last night, he was ranked fifth, with Adam Johnson recording a PPI of 23 to fetch the remaining bonus point.

Sunderland 2 Aston Villa 2
Petrov 3, Sessegnon 2, Larsson 1

It’s no real surprise to see Stylian Petrov on top of the PPI scores given his goal and assist contribution to the 2-2 draw. Stephane Sessegnon matched him with an identical return, but the Villa man came out on top in the PPI stakes with a 5 point advantage. Seb Larsson collected the remaining bonus courtesy of his assist for the late equaliser, denying Villa’s Richard Dunne by just a single PPI point.

Swansea 3 Bolton 1
Allen 3, Gower 2, Sinclair 1

Our prediction proved accurate for this one, as Joe Allen earned another three bonus points for his second consecutive goal and a busy midfield showing. Mark Gower’s creativity and industry was reflected with another strong PPI return, although it was very tight amongst the Swansea ranks. Scott Sinclair nudged in for a single bonus point with his third spot-kick of the season; there was just a single PPI point between him and Angel Rangel. Indeed, the next four players were separated by just a single PPI point, as the Swans dominated the PPI rankings.

West Brom 0 Liverpool 2
Carroll 3, Agger 2, Enrique 1

Andy Carroll came out on top in this game, just denying Dan Agger a share of the maximum bonus by a single PPI point. Indeed, with a clean sheet at the Hawthorns, Liverpool’s defensive players fared well here. Jose Enrique picked up a single bonus point, while both Martin Skrtel and Jose Reina were also highly placed in the PPI rankings. Charlie Adam also ranked well and was perhaps unfortunate not to see bonus rewards. Luis Suarez fetched a PPI of 12 – again efforts of target appear to have dented his bonus prospects.

Wigan 0 Fulham 2
Dempsey 3, Dembele 2, Sidwell 1

Clint Dempsey did enough to squeeze past Moussa Dembele for the maximum bonus in this game, as the Fulham pairing dominated the PPI rankings. As we predicted last night, Steve Sidwell came in for the single bonus point, although he trailed Dembele by 8 PPI points, sneaking past Mark Schwarzer in fourth by just 2 PPI points.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Why do you do it? You give pretty sound advice at times, but then tell bald-faced lies to people that ask you about your ranking, your score, whether you've played your wildcard or not. You even decided to pretend you had benched Kuyt this week and played Dyer instead - why lie about something like that?

So, Bale got 2 boners and VDV 3.

I can only think that's because he had so many shots on target. Getting Shots on target must be weighted really heavily.

Bale 4 shots 3 on target 2 goals
VDV 5 shots 5 on targer 1 goal

    Strange system!

By the way is anyone seriously considering keeping Roon over RVP? (So not including people who have both).

After seeing Roon in central mid for the entire Everton game that was it for me. Roons gone leaving me with zero Utd coverage.

Roon is out of form (and he is a player who very much relies on form) while RVP is on fire with equally tasty fixtures coming up.

    No brainer for me

Played little on that transfers page and this could be my wc team for gw12 - care to shoot it down?

    Kenny, Vorm
    Kompany, Enrigue, Jagielka, ShawX, Wilkinson
    Silva, Vdv, Walters, Drenthe, Allen
    Rooney, Rvp, Bendtner

This would give me some benching headache for gw's 12 and 13, but I suppose that's not so bad thing.
Quite heavy on the back, especially with MCI and LIV fixtures, but I don't want to transfer those guys in and out so might aswell bench them in gw13 for example.

Just would like to know when we'll have that eve/tot double, so I could make some plans for Walker/Ade.

Too much money to tie up waiting for good form to return for me, with a lot of quite expensive players on form. If he gets there I'll find a way to get him even if it means a hit or two.

Yeah, not too bad really. Above average at least.
And I've been looking for a Norwich fan the whole day :), I'm probably going to bring in Johnson for Dyer, would you tip that one?

Hmmm. You aren't considering Johnson just because he scored are you? IMO, if you have the funds, you'd be much, much better off getting Pilkington. More attacking potential and probably only costs .5 or so more

Nah mate, surely not. I'm just kinda stuck with my team for next week, feel I'm in for a bad one with Kompany suspended, Brown and Larsson away to OT and Dyer away to Liverpool. Not to mention Fergie who's a benchwarmer. Moreover, Dyer has been unreliable, he is in for a tougher run that Johnson is and the latter is a bit cheaper plus on set plays. And you wouldn't believe me if I told you that I just knew he scored this week. I knew he's bagged in 2 goals and 2 assists so far, but never happened to check out the game goalscoreres.

Unfortunately I have 0.00 in the bank, got Dyer since the off and will sell him for 4.6. I'm doing it now I think.

Agree, it doesn't help to have him when you have few niggling injuries or suspensions. But here you are, his price saw a rise, hoping he maintains it till February.

I find it strange that so many refs give penalties for something and nothing incidents on the edge of the box with the player going nowhere, but when attackers are hauled down in the six yard, often during corners or FKs, nothing. I really don't understand.

Currently have De Gea and Vorm.
    Brown Gabbidon Kompany Shawcross Simpson.

I am trying to ship Gabbidon out for Neil Taylor(Swansea) or Angel Rangel(Swansea), yay or nay?
    Or any other defender?

I have Evans, done me well so far. Gutted I benched him this week though was reasonable after such a horrible game last weekend ich got me -5 :(((

As for a good defender around that price bracket, Norwich Barnett would be a good shout.

Is Norwich defense solid? I have a little bit phobia with Norwich players, had Holt, Dalaeet and Surman for the first few weeks. And you know what happened.

Neil Taylor is now top of my list, I can play DeGea every week while playing Neil Taylor to earn me some CS in swansea home.

          What do you guys think?

Not really to be honest. Never managed to get a clean sheet, but even Chelsea didn't 🙂
Barnett is such a good shout for his attacking flair, he goes forward a bit, managed to score and assist so far. And if you already have Vorm, why not going for a player from the same team?

Hows this looking for my WC team? Any suggestions?

    Given Vorm
    Enrique Walker Barnett Simpson Wilkinson
    VDV Silva Ramsey Sess Eagles
    Aguero RVP Agbon

Obviously no Man Utd coverage is an issue but Utds (Roon & Nani) form is worrying and I'd rather be a spectator while they work things out and get it right. Then I can worry about how to get Roon or Nani back into my team.

P.s team is linked if anyone can be bothered to see what it was before

Average isn't a team. Every h2h league has an average, when it's got an odd number of players.

It's basically the average score that GW, and if you're up against Average, you basically have to score higher than the average score that week.

Apparently Gerrard is out for at least a month after being seen with a cast on his leg. So Gerrard owners (yes all three of you) and anybody else who feels like offering advice - best replacement? The plan was Nani but he's not even starting at the moment so probably rule him out. Considering perhaps Royce Da 5'9" Drenthe and then use the 5 million the week after?
Who else is tempting in midfield?
