The EA SPORTS Player Performance Index scores are now available and the Fantasy Premier League Bonus points have now been added to the game. Here’s our breakdown of how they map out for Gameweek ten…

Chelsea 3 Arsenal 5
Van Persie 3, Santos & Walcott 2

The only share of FPL bonus this week comes amongst the Arsenal ranks, with Theo Walcott and Andre Santos tied on identical EA PPI scores having both notched at Stamford Bridge. Robin Van Persie is a clear leader however; he collected the Gameweek’s leading PPI score of 67. Chelsea’s Frank Lampard ranked third overall in this match but was denied bonus by the tied Arsenal pairing.

Everton 0 Man United 1
Hernandez 3, Evra 2, De Gea 1

Javier Hernandez’s strike proved decisive at Goodison and, not surprisingly, proved enough to earn him the highest EA PPI on show and the three bonus points. In a game devoid of any strong attacking performers, it was two United defensive players who ranked next, with Patrice Evra recording a PPI of 24 thanks to assist. David De Gea’s saves fetched him 21 PPI this week. Ji-Sung Park just missed out on bonus with a PPI of 20.

Norwich 3 Blackburn 3
Hoilett 3, Johnson 2, Samba 1

As we predicted last night, it was Junior Hoilett who emerged with the top ranked PPI score and the maximum bonus. Indeed, our forecast for this game proved spot-on, as Bradley Johnson and Blackburn’s Chris Samba picked up the remaining points. Morten Gamst Pedersen and Norwich’s Steve Morison were just a couple of PPI points behind that trio.

Tottenham 3 QPR 1
Van der Vaart 3, Bale 2, Lennon 1

Tottenham’s in-form Dutchman prevails for the maximum bonus – surprisingly recording a stronger EA PPI than two-goal hero Gareth Bale. Van der Vaart’s PPI of 63 will be broken down in our Scout review of the weekend tomorrow but, right now, it looks as though his efforts on target played a part in him nicking top spot from Bale. Aaron Lennon, with two assists from yesterday’s game, earned the remaining bonus.

Man City 2 Wolves 1
Kolarov 3, Dzeko 2, Johnson 1

The winning goal from Aleksandar Kolarov was enough to earn him the top PPI score in this match, just edging out Edin Dzeko in second spot. This again, was a tough one to predict and, while we went for Yaya Toure in our forecast last night, he was ranked fifth, with Adam Johnson recording a PPI of 23 to fetch the remaining bonus point.

Sunderland 2 Aston Villa 2
Petrov 3, Sessegnon 2, Larsson 1

It’s no real surprise to see Stylian Petrov on top of the PPI scores given his goal and assist contribution to the 2-2 draw. Stephane Sessegnon matched him with an identical return, but the Villa man came out on top in the PPI stakes with a 5 point advantage. Seb Larsson collected the remaining bonus courtesy of his assist for the late equaliser, denying Villa’s Richard Dunne by just a single PPI point.

Swansea 3 Bolton 1
Allen 3, Gower 2, Sinclair 1

Our prediction proved accurate for this one, as Joe Allen earned another three bonus points for his second consecutive goal and a busy midfield showing. Mark Gower’s creativity and industry was reflected with another strong PPI return, although it was very tight amongst the Swansea ranks. Scott Sinclair nudged in for a single bonus point with his third spot-kick of the season; there was just a single PPI point between him and Angel Rangel. Indeed, the next four players were separated by just a single PPI point, as the Swans dominated the PPI rankings.

West Brom 0 Liverpool 2
Carroll 3, Agger 2, Enrique 1

Andy Carroll came out on top in this game, just denying Dan Agger a share of the maximum bonus by a single PPI point. Indeed, with a clean sheet at the Hawthorns, Liverpool’s defensive players fared well here. Jose Enrique picked up a single bonus point, while both Martin Skrtel and Jose Reina were also highly placed in the PPI rankings. Charlie Adam also ranked well and was perhaps unfortunate not to see bonus rewards. Luis Suarez fetched a PPI of 12 – again efforts of target appear to have dented his bonus prospects.

Wigan 0 Fulham 2
Dempsey 3, Dembele 2, Sidwell 1

Clint Dempsey did enough to squeeze past Moussa Dembele for the maximum bonus in this game, as the Fulham pairing dominated the PPI rankings. As we predicted last night, Steve Sidwell came in for the single bonus point, although he trailed Dembele by 8 PPI points, sneaking past Mark Schwarzer in fourth by just 2 PPI points.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Gained on my rivals again! Only 60 points behind the leader now! Pfft. Hopefully i'll get there. Got RvP in last night, i'm hoping he'll still be a differential to me 'cause there's a lot of Man U glory fans in my league that's got luck with him.

all rivals of my league have Rooney (because they're Man U fans) and dont have RVP, I got RVP yesterday and hoping he'll continue to make the difference

Cheers, didn't know that. Might just be a straight swap for Young. United's run now is just too good to be without 3 United I think.

I'd like to have Jones ideally, but it means 3 transfers. As things stand I can just do Suarez and Bos out, Chica and Evans in. 0 in the bank.

He was playing a deeper role for one game after a bad defeat the week before. Will he be playing the same way at OT? Probably not. Will he be playing in that position against weaker opponents away from home? Again probably not.

I wouldn't get too worried about Rooney's relative worth at the moment.

Very good team by the looks of it really. Not sure about Dyer as he's been unreliable of late, you'd better off looking for another good replacemtn if any funds left in the bank. If NONE, you wouldn't need to play hom anyway. Sinclair is in for a tough run as well, not sure if you're expecting much from him against the likes of Liverpool and United in a row. Other than that, pretty good team.

You have to midfield players from the same team, Dyer and Sinclari, which is not always good to have. I'm not sure about Dyer really, but as long as you're not playing him regularly, there would be no harm. Sincialr is the one you should consider carefully, if you think he's going to get you points in the next two games, just keep him. If not, you can look for another option. Or you can bench him and start with four in the back if you like.

I get the feeling ChristIna wants me to call this out so here it is:

    Last week:

    Silva>Milner
    Suarez>Rooney(c)
    4 point hit

If I'd captained Suarez that's 16 points, 12 points more than Rooney.
Nani coming on or Milner, silva 5, Nani 1, 4 points more.

So that's 20 points, if I'd captained VDV it's 24 points, if I'd captained RVP would have been a whopping 42! Could have got 82 points and had 2 players left and 2 free transfers

    Wow....

Wow! The Silva move was....um..ballsy. Suarez is so frustrating I can see why you did it,and lets not pretend a lot of this game isnt luck, Rooney could have filled his boots! But that is pretty funny...although I cant imagine many capt RVP (Cue satisfied replies!)

Haha everyone makes a bad decision now and again it's how you go about it after, you either complain and panic trying to put it right or you get up brush yourself off and say gameweek 11 you are mine for the taking

Would really like to get RVP in as think he is now an essential. Only way I can do it ( without a hit ) is getting rid of Suarez but I did not plan to make to move until after Swansea this weekend - thoughts?

Another good week for RVP could see him up to 12.5 by the end of the international break, and it's so risky making transfers before the international matches you could be left high and dry if you wait another week IMO.

Hiya guys, I have a tough decision to make and am seeking some advice.

I am desperate to find a way to get RvP in, but it involves the following:

    1) Straight swap for Rooney
    2) Swap for Aguero + downgrade Martin Petrov (who I was going to ship out anyway) + take a 4 point hit
    3) Continue with Rooney and Aguero, swap Petrov for Ramsey.

    Thoughts?

With Adebayor being underperforming in the last couple of games, anyone else worried about him not making it from the off next week?

Not really. He could have scored several yesterday, fix still good, plenty of cheaper options if it comes to it, I'd stick for now.

I'm not sure he was unlucky. His finishing was poor. It's strange, at other clubs he's been lazy but a very composed finisher. At Spurs he's working his socks off but wasteful in front of goal.

A mildly arousing 55, with Shawcross and Bego to go tonight, inside the top 100k now! Bale/RVP/Sinclair/Saurez all done great...prob was I captained Rooney lol

Seriously considering my season Rooney captain strategy this weekend though. To be fair, all three of my strikers had tricky fixtures, went for Rooney as thought he might get a pen. Hey ho, least I had RVP and stuck with him, was close to bailing him out gameweek five...

32 points to cap off a truly nightmare week ;( Once again got burnt by not having RVP and VDV, and another shoddy Captain choice in Adebayor. Yuckk. Hopefully Walters can salvage me something tonight and propel me over the average score at least!

Scouts: has the whole "seeking advice" / "not seeking advice" thing been shelved indefinitely or is it a feature that might be integrated at some point? If it's going to come back can we have a third option for "I scored X this week or my rank is Y this week"? I like facts an' all but it does make Mondays rather tiresome.

I've had RvP for a while and in a strange sort of way i'm actually a bit annoyed he got a hat-trick. No one else in my League has him so for the past few weeks he's been providing a fantastic differential.

Unfortunately I imagine all those with Rooney and Aguero will now knee jerk to vP and i'll lose those cheeky points i've been accumulating on my rivals.

Oh well, guess it's just time to find a new differential. That's right Andy Carroll i'm looking at you. Put down that pint, it's your time to shine!

and they didn't do ? > RVP during the last few weeks?

Ok knee jerk the wrong phrase but the point still stands. Most of my rivals have Rooney and/or Ageuro and i don't think they would have changed them for RvP if he'd continued to just score a goal or two.

Hat tricks set alarm bells ringing though so to that extent it's knee jerk. Man U actually have a good run coming up so if i had him in my team i'd really question subbing him out now.
