Is Baines worth the extra over Jags?
Both are equally nailed, Baines has much higher assist potential, but Jags has a (surprisingly) higher goal threat and also a higher baseline BPS.
I have enough cash for either, but does it makes sense to save that 1m and go with Phil?
Baps are irrelevant imo as you are buying Baines SOLELY for assist potential imo

I'm not totally convinced. I agree they have looked poor without Jags, but when he played they managed 4CS in 11 games, which may look below average, but when you factor in what those 11 fixtures were as below, it seems alright to me.

EVE's fixtures turn massively this week and with SWA, NEW and WBA in 3 of the next 4, I fancy a couple of clean sheets there.

In fact, only 4 teams (MUN, ARS, MCY, STO) have kept more clean sheets per game this season that Everton (with Jags) has over the above tough fixtures.
Two reasons for that -
1)Short sample size or co-incidence
2)Correlation does not equal to causation (meaning Jagielka might not be the reason Everton were keeping CS with him)
I'm not sure 11 games can be deemed a short sample size.
Jags may not be the reason, but the evidence appears to suggest he is. 2 CS (half as many) in the 11 without him, and those were in much easier fixtures imo:
ars, SUN, whu, AVL, bou, CPL, nor, LEI, new, STO, TOT
11 games is a small sample size for stuff like CS per game. Goals conceded is a better metric imo.

I like Daniels, but not for 3 weeks - sun, cpl, ARS doesn't look great to me.
I was tossing up between losing Wolly vs VDV, and although SOT have 2 CS in a row, their fixtures are tough now whereas STO's become great in a couple of weeks.
This got shot down before, but what about
D) VDV -> Targett
Doesn't help the defence, but the other 4 rotate ok. Benefit here is it raises enough cash for DDG/Alli -> Elliot/Sanchez next week, i.e. getting Sanchez without losing KDB. If A-C then I will need to lose KDB to get Sanchez.

You know how i feel about this Jins, Baines was pure class against Chelsea and is back on set pieces too ... i think Lukaku still has penos but Baines raiding runs and pin-point crosses were just sublime ... you can tell I'm a big fan!! I don't you could go wrong with either TBH

I think Daniels can wait 3 weeks personally, but yeah he's a good option (as is any defender on penos)

I played my WC last week and I now regret it. If I played my pre WC team I would of scored 70 points last week! Instead I ended up with 57.
It's always tempting to play WC however this season is so unpredictable when you feel your team looks rough it tends to be a good GW. Keep the faith.

I like your picks but they don't seem desperately needed.
