The blank will be in GW27. I wonder if its worth it to worry about planning so much right now. If the defence and Lu-Ka-Ku and KdB Ozil Payet are in place which look like non movers in your squad, you can afford to use up transfer to make use of hauls in 4 gws prior to that.
I think it would help if we know what teams will have a blank? 🙂

I think it's probably the smart play BUT everyday I wait it gets harder to achieve.
Yesterday I had £0.2 to spare and today £0.0. By weeks end I will need to find another .3 or more.
How many moves do you need to get Aguero without a WC? That's the question I'd be asking.

Currently I have De Bruyne, Ozil and Ighalo in these three spots.
Strikeforce already has Aguero & Kane. Excited by the strike force A or C gives me, but love the idea of owning KDB and Sanchez
B. Though all are decent enough. I like A next best as it hedges your bets somewhat.

Ahhhh, you've hot upon my issue. This question relates to a team that enrolled within a Liverpool Supporters Club tournament and my main cash ML.
Frustratingly, they impose a rule of no Everton and no Man Utd. So that explains the Lukaku decision unfortunately. At least everyone else is handicapped in the same way.

Anyone cosindering Kane to Lukaku? I know the stats in the last GW are in favour of Kane but Lukakus fixtures are pretty damn good and would likely captain Lukaku over Aguero
I was, but managed to scrape enough funds to do Ighalo->Lukaku. If Kane out is the only way, I'd do it!
Ive got funds to do Ighalo to Lukaku but that rules out Ramsey to Sanchez 🙁
I think the difference in points between Ighy and Lukaku will be bigger than Ramsey to Sanchez over next 3/4. Worth planning to get the funds elsewhere for Sanchez

Am in a similar position, and am torn between dithcing KDB or Mahrez. There are argments for and against, I suppose, but the return of Sanchez sways me a wee bit toward ditching KDB and freeing up some cash

Time to sell Mahrez?
It now reminds me of what Stuart Downing and West Ham did in the first half of last season before both tailed off badly in the second half.
He's now blanked 5 games in a row and isn't playing well, I don't mind holding a player like Aguero when he's blanking who is a proven FPL points scorer and plays for arguably the best team in the league.
I believe we are only holding him out of fear of high ownership and a clouded judgment due to the first 17 GW's of unsustainable form.
I got him before the season started so my SV is only 6.3 - more than happy to keep him, even if he becomes a 5th mid option
Most have a lot of value tied up in him - who would you get in instead? With Aguero looking sharp again and Sanchez on the horizon, money needs to be spent wisely - there aren't many options around 6m.
Everyone who got Mahrez and are still holding him would have got him in at 5.5m within the first few GWs of the season. To sell him now would mean having to buy back at a much higher price if his form continues.
If his form continues to flail, at least for me, he can be the 5th midfielder option considering my other 4 mids (Payet, Ozil, KDB and Alli) are all starting mids and can also give good returns.
I'm letting him go. Seems like Ranieri is keen to hold onto what he has with clean sheets
While he's at 90% ownership in the top 10k, then holding him isn't really a risk, But if you want to make inroads in rank, then here's a good opportunity - as long as you can find someone in the same price bracket who can outperform him.
I thought Wijnaldum would get a lot more attention on here. The number of chances he is getting , and his form make him a fantastic pick
