The waiting is finally over and we are pleased to roll out the first round draws for the Fantasy Football Scout Cup XII as well as our Members Cup VI. For those who submitted their teams for the Gameweek 22 qualifying round, read on to discover if you made the cut as we assess some of the standout match ups to take place in the first rounds during Gameweek 23.

The cut off score in the Fantasy Football Scout Cup was 68 points, which was an impressive 22 points above the overall Gameweek 22 average. With an overall placing of 323,252 ComeonSpurs is the lowest-ranked player with that score to make the cut.

The high qualifying score means some high-flying Fantasy managers fell by the wayside. This includes CTreacy, the current leader of the FFScout league and 11th placed in the overall ranking, who missed the cut by three points.

Luckily for reigning champion Mark, who scored 55 points in Gameweek 22, all former winners get a bye into the first round. He faces a tough tie against The Quarrymen, who is ranked 103,471 places above him.

Amongst our other former winners Gribude takes on Wheato, mch faces DK5, donnellyc squares up to plummo, Jonty (that’s me) has an encounter with ftnc, while CMIFLFC has a match up with Edmond.

Another former winner, sleepingmaster, will take on community regular Parm.

Meanwhile, Tdubb05 faces Martinp, Wild Rover meets Keith Renouard and Gooner Dave will be hoping his experience of winning the competition will see off Hazardous Blue. Finally among our winners, Ninja Fit Saints takes on Hellraisers.

Other key ties include Sanoj85’s contest against former FPL champion Tom Fenley, while garpheet is another to draw a short straw as he prepares to do battle with Simon March (Dufflinks), the reigning FPL champion.

The highest ranked qualifier is Lexon39, who is 49 in the world and progressed with a score of 79. He faces The dude – Brighton fan in round one.

The full first round draw of the Fantasy Football Scout Cup can be found here.

The cut off score in the Members Cup was also 68. Those with more than that score or with 68 and a rank below 84,590 progress to round one.

With a rank of 133, Albana City is the highest placed manager in the competition and faces Carlton Palmer in round one.

Amongst our former winners Acquafresca takes on Genovoze, while Trigg meets Jimgranty.

Other notable encounters in the Members Cup include Tom Fenley’s clash with community regular S Kuqi, while I face another notable community member Bowstring the Carp.

The Members Cup qualifying round’s highest scorer Facer, who notched an impressive 102 points in Gameweek 22, takes on Somewhatpleasing.

The full first round draw of the Members Cup can be found here.

I really like Everton's fixtures; basically all their games on paper hold great CS potential, bar a week or two, until roughly gameweek 30. I fancy buying Jagielka myself, but do we really think they're going to be able to keep CS's over these games? I just have little confidence in them defensively, they can concede vs anyone at anytime.

Everton dont focus at all on defending. Its all out attack at all times which means they have one of the poorest defences in the league.

Defensively they are complete pish, so I think you're buying Jags/Baines for their attacking potential. Cleanie us a bonus.

Bottomed (turns out I cant count)

Proposed changes to the Members area

Comparison Tool: Remove all special lettering making it simpler to search for players like Alexis Sanchez

Matches: Sort by GW in descending order (most recent GW first)

Team stats: Add an additional filter for home and away. Allowing you search team stats for the previous 4 home matches

Anything other improvements you can see?

Completely agree. Annoying that I can't filter just last 4 away games for example.

      sounds good.

I'd like a couple of graphical options. Say, looking at a player and his shots on target week by week as opposed to an average value over a range. Would make it easier to spot trends in player form without recreating multiple ranges.

ability to compare more than just 2 players, 3 or 4 at a time

I sometimes find myself deciding between 3 or 4 players for a specific position. Would be nice to have an option to compare them all at once rather than compare 2 then go back and compare the one with the better stats against another

I can't help but think this is a mistake. Sure, play him v Man City so as not to destroy his confidence, but he's going to be nervous and that will permeate to the whole Palace defence. I think it would be better to take him out of the firing line and bring him back in later with a clean slate.

Daniels for price and potential returns.

Jagielka for potential future clean sheets.

      Barkley for potential goal threat.

Are we getting a comment from Pardew, yes, Alan? "I fully expect that the headless Hennessey is just as good as he was with the head on his shoulders, this is not a problem for us..." So, good listeners, Alan Pardew has spoken, and we end reporting from the Selhurst Park.

Moreno down to fourth for me. Norwich have only failed to score once at home. Palace are rallying around Hennessey so they will be ultra-cautious, as will Arsenal at home, because in big matches like these, they always are.

Well, that's a flair choice, right there. It's about a 9/1 shot for that - but its got to happen at some point. Bear in mind also that Toby's the same odds for a goal, Bellerin further out.

Any reason for me not to pull the trigger on

    Kolarov > Daniels ?

Yes. Bournemouth defence is still sh!it and Daniels won't get pens every gw

Cheers kuqi. But I need a cheap downgrade. And Daniels has attacking potential.
        Makes sense?

        My other defenders are

        Toby. Bellerin. Moreno. Ward

You can play Toby Bellerin Moreno this GW.

Targett is a good option which gives you funds for Alexis soon.

The problem for me is you play home every week and you get 2/1 point for most of the time or you put him on the bench and miss the odd attacking points? No point for me

Our teams are very similar, but I think your squad is slightly better for this week. Need to get the right player in for Sigurdsson to have a chance.

Captaining Lukaku over Aguero based on Lukaku plays after aguero , seems like a bad strategy but has worked for me this year

I have captained Lukaku 3 times this season and he is yet to let me down so I trust him. 🙂

That's not a strategy at all.. That's like saying you'll captain the player that comes first alphabetically..

Vardy wouldn't have helped ya much, but Aguero and Alli... 😛

        Butland (cech)

Alderwierld Bellerin Azpi Dann (Dawson )

        Ali Arnie Ayew barkley (Albrighton)

        Aguero (Ayoze) Deeney

        Pretty good for ABCD 😉

    B) Henderson & Kane

        Lol yeah it's basically a question of Lukaku-Aguero-Kane (Henderson) or Lukaku-Aguero-Ighalo (Ozil/Sanchez)
