With the gameweek complete, our Members can now soak up all the numbers from another weekend’s football via our Members area. All the Opta data and ICT Index scores are in and, as usual, we can now offer a match-by-match breakdown of the standout performers, with an early prediction of the EA PPI and Fantasy Premier League bonus points…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Given-(Ruddy)
    Wilkinson-Walker -Jose Enrique-(Simpson)- (Boyata)
    Walters -Ramsey-Silva -Van der Vaart-(Ferguson)
    Van Persie-Suarez - Adebayor

1.7 in the bank. Still have WC but think I'll save it. Finally got RVP in, with Rooney getting the boot.
Think I might move Suarez out. I'm thinking Hernandez due to my lack of Man Utd coverage, but worried about rotation with him. Also toying with the idea of cheaper options like Bendtner or Graham.
Other things I need to improve is my bench and possibly moving Given out for Vorm.

Nope good team. Only problem you are missing RVP. Hard to see where you can raise the funds though. Transferring out Boswinga for a cheap defender (4million mark) would raise you a few quid but you would still be short.

I have 1.1 in the bank..... The lack of VP has hurt. Aguero is doing nothing. Suarez + Enrique face a though couple of fixtures. Need to get rid of Boswinga. Throw in the profit to be made from transferring players over the break..... The finger is itching to hit that wild card button.

    Vorm (Ruddy)
    Enrique Richards Brown (Simpson Naylor)
    Nani Silva VDV Ramsey (Dyer)
    Adebayor Rooney Gabby

    Was thinking for a hit:
    1) Adebayor -> Dzeko/ Another striker?

It's a nice looking team. Spurs fixtures over the next 5 games are really nice - sure you want to get rid of Ade? Villa on the other hand have a nasty run over the next six. Would you consider moving Agbon instead of Ade.?

I think option 2 is worth it. I did it last week, just wish I did it weeks ago.
While moving Rooney out is a risk, as when he is at his best he will score you points, but the past few weeks he hasn't been doing much and RVP is in top form.

I think option one is a side ward move for me. Dzeko is a funny player he might not start each week, but when he does he scored top points.

Rooney to RVP - defo worth it now hat Rooneys a 12 million midfielder.

Keep Adebayor - 4 home game in next 6 and probably a double GW (home V Everton) thrown in...

Or if you defo want rid then you probably have it right with Dzeko

I posted this earlier for you to look at.

I see the season separated into chunks. The 1st chunk has gone. The 2nd chunk is now up until the second wildcard and the 3rd is up until the end of the season. So no matter if your team is good you have to adapt it to the next 10 fixtures in my opinion.

I read it cheers. My only worry is that my team has been chugging along nicely for a while now and I do see the benefit of using my first WC very soon after the winter WC for DGWs etc. I just feel that my current squad doesn't need that many changes that a couple of free TFs won't fix!

According to MOTD2 commentators, Wilkinson was one of only 2 Stoke players to play last weekend, Thursday and today - maybe he just got subbed cos he was knackered?

    Aguero or Dzeko or Ballotelli?

My plan was always to transfer in Aguero for Rooney but not sure any more.

Looking at points over the last 4 games Aguero has scored 13 to Ballotelli's 19 and Dzeko's 29. But then Aguero has played more than 30 mins in a match 9 times this season compared to Dzeko's 7 so is arguably less of a rotation risk.

Or do I ignore all three and go for a safer nailed on starter like Agbonlahor / Ba?

    Cheers

cheers maybe adebayor although already have bale and vdv. Agbonlahor and Ba don't have good fixtures, so was thinking one of the man c strikers, or possibly Drog.

Many of you play the Metro league? Not seeing too many familiar names up on the leaderboard, thought you boys would be all over it like Bieber backstage.

Can someone briefly explain what a double GW is and how it works, this is my first year doing the fantasy PL and just want to have it clarified cheers 🙂 obviously its pretty much in the name but how does it work like, double points for all teams in a certain week?

it just means some teams will play twice in one premier league gw so you can earn double points for that match

Many players will play in two games in one GW so they have an advantage over those who only play once.

a double game week is when some teams will play twice in a single game week (due to re-aranged fixtures) thereby giving the players from those teams the change to score more points

They play two matches in one particular GW and you receive points from both of those matches.

To fund the second transfer... What's wrong with Walker? Other than the obvious fact that Sp*rs never keep clean sheets ever.

That is what is wrong. I got in BAE to fund RVP for this GW. Save 0.5M for similar attacking and defensive returns.

Would love to have BAE back in my team actually. Having him and Kolarov both in my defence would make it the most maverick defence in history.

And BAE is cheaper than Walker and takes the odd set piece. Walker does rampage down that right flank but BAE whips some crosses in too. Go Maverick!!
