The EA Sports PPI scores are now published and the Fantasy Premier League game bonus have been awarded, here’s how they map out for Gameweek Eleven. As far as we know, the goals, assists and bonus points have now been fully revised and the current points will now stand…

Arsenal 3 West Brom 0

Vermaelen 3, Van Persie & Arteta 2

With Gervinho judged to have got a touch on Robin Van Persie cross, the Arsenal skipper lost his initial assist for the Thomas Vermaelen’s goal and dropped to 32 PPI points as a result. He lost out on the maximum to the Belgian defender by just a single PPI point with Vermaelen recording 33 in the PPI. Mikel Arteta also recorded a PPI of 32 so he has now been promoted in the bonus reckoning, sharing the two bonus points with Van Persie. Alex Song and Theo Walcott were just outside the bonus reckoning.

Aston Villa 3 Norwich 2
Agbonlahor 3, Bent 2, Pilkington 1

The cast in our prediction were correct, but it was Gabby Agbonlahor who gained top billing by just a single EA PPI point from team-mate Darren Bent – it could not have been closer. Antony Pilkington came in for the single as predicted, courtesy of his fourth goal of the season. On 32 PPI points, Pilkington was a fully 20 behind both Bent and Agbonlahor. Pilkington nonetheless got the bonus, holding off team-mate Steve Morison by just 3 PPI points.

Blackburn 0 Chelsea 1

Lampard 3, Ivanovic 2, Cech 1

Our prediction in last night’s members article was spot on here. Frank Lampard gathered the bonus with a PPI score of 44, a full 19 points ahead of team-mate Branislav Ivanovic who, courtesy of his assist and some decent defensive stats, earned bonus on his return to the right-back berth. Petr Cech’s saves helped him secure just a second clean sheet of the season to help gather a PPI of 23, enough to see off Ashley Cole for the single bonus point.

Liverpool 0 Swansea 0

Dyer 3, Vorm 2, Johnson 1

Hands up, we got this one wrong in last night’s prediction. Despite Nathan Dyer’s ICT stats putting him second overall in this match behind Luis Suarez (who was never going to score well in PPI terms), we chose to ignore his claim for bonus and beef up the defensive players. Dyer did however prevail here, no doubt helped by an impressive set of all-round statistics that included tackles and efforts on goal. His 20 PPI points was the lowest total to earn 3 bonus this week but nonetheless proved enough, as Michel Vorm (17) and Liverpool’s Glen Johnson (15) came in next to also fetch bonus points.

Manchester United 1 Sunderland 0

Evra 3, Rooney 2, Vidic & Nani 1

Despite Patrice Evra coming out on top amongst our ICT ratings in the United defence, we opted to go with both Vidic and Ferdinand for the bonus in last night’s prediction, believing that their extra clearances would see them ahead in the PPI stakes. Evra’s all-round contribution, that included some decent attacking statistics, proved enough for him to record a PPI of 30 however, seeing off Wayne Rooney (26) and Vidic (19). Nani also totalled 19 PPI points to share the single bonus point with Vidic – we’ve had it confirmed that Nani is holding on to his assist for the winning goal – Danny Welbeck did not get a touch on his cross before Wes Brown nodded into his own net.

Newcastle 2 Everton 1

R Taylor 3, Rodwell 2, Simpson & Ba 1

Ryan Taylor gathered the maximum having scored what turned out to be the winning goal, converting his own long-throw via a Demba Ba flick, with an effort that dipped over Tim Howard. Ba shared a single bonus point having gained the assist for Taylor’s goal – his flick was cleared by an Everton defender within the penalty box, therefore, as the last attacker with a touch, Ba earned the assist. Danny Simpson, who provided the assist for the John Heitinga own goal, also fetched bonus here. Both Simpson and Ba recorded 21 EA PPI’s points, with Everton’s Jack Rodwell topping that on 25 courtesy of his consolation that offered Everton hope just before half-time, to earn the two bonus here.

QPR 2 Man City 3

Dzeko 3, Toure 2, Silva 1

Edin Dzeko came out on top as predicted with another powerful attacking display in City’s win at Loftus Road. The Bosnian just nudged out team-mate Yaya Toure by just a single PPI point, while David Silva’s goal helped him to a PPI haul of 29 – enough to see him earn a single bonus point. Jay Bothroyd was QPR’s top PPI performer on the day but was someway behind a host of City contenders as the victory heavily influenced the PPI outcome.

Wolves 3 Wigan 1

O’Hara 3, Ward 2, Edwards 1

Last night’s Members article correctly predicted the names amongst today’s bonus but it was Stephen Ward who sneaked in front of David Edwards to earn the two bonus points. Ward’s return of 30 PPI points was enough to see off Edwards who recorded 27, while Jamie O’Hara was a clear front runner here, amassing no less than 55 PPI points with a goal and two assists to his name. Kevin Doyle and Stephen Hunt also put in impressive PPI scores, with Ben Watson Wigan’s best performer on the day.

Bolton 5 Stoke City 0

Klasnic 3, Ealges, Wheater 1

Ivan Klasnic returned to the Bolton lineup and recorded the top overall PPI score of the gameweek with a haul of 68. That was more than enough to see him hold off team-mate Chris Eagles for the maximum bonus points. We predicted that David Wheater would sneak in for a single bonus, courtesy of some decent defensive stats and his assist, and so it proved. Wheater held off the claims of Kevin Davies and Paul Robinson who also fetched storng PPI returns from the Reebok rout.

Fulham 1 Tottenham 3

Bale 3, Lennon 2, Adebayor 1

Gareth Bale and Aaron Lennon provided the major attacking threat for Spurs and subsequently dominated the PPI scores in this match. Bale edged out his team-mate by just a single PPI point to fetch the maximum on offer, while Emmanuel Adebayor did enough to pick up the single point, surprisingly surpassing the PPI total of Brad Friedel, who kept Fulham at bay with a string of saves. Friedel recorded a PPI score of 20 with Adebayor amassing 26 to claim the single bonus.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

The points system has been stupid this week. Bothroyd (who i dont have) got an assist because his shot hit helguson (his team mate) and went in. Because the ball was deemed to take a 'goal changing' deflection, it was classed as Helguson's goal. The very same thing happened with Gareth bale last night, only it took a goal changing deflection off one of the fulham defenders ( swarcher wouldve saved without the deflection) yet bale gets the points for a goal. How can this be justified? It was the same situation with different points resulting and is totally unfair. It would be like Simpson getting points for that horrible Heitinga own goal. And to add to the frustration RVP loses his assist, in all fairness as a rvp (C) owner i hold my hands up on admit it took the slightest (unintended) touch off gervinho which would not have altered the ball getting to the Arteta. So if you want to take away RVP's assist its only fair if you remove Bale's goal, hence his bonus points also. Horrible system and very unhappy with it

That's not unfair, that's just rules. Bale's wasn't classified as an OG because it was on target, hence he gets the goal. And that should be Helguson's goal because it doesn't matter whether it was deliberate or not, the rules of football is that the goalscorer is recognised as the last team-mate who touches a ball before it goes in.

Now go put your dummy back in your mouth

"the goalscorer is recognised as the last team-mate who touches a ball before it goes in" - then bales goal shouldnt be allowed as it hit the fulham defender (which if it didnt the keeper wouldve saved). Its totally unfair just because its a team-mate or a defender who it hits last the rules go topsy turvy. If it hits an opposing defender and goes in it should be an own goal if it wasnt going to be saved by the keeper. If it hits a team mate and goes in it should be a goal if the keeper wouldve gotten to it without the deflection. I'm not moaning im just giving my opinion on the rules and how i think they should be which im more than entitled to i reckon

It's a matter whether it's on target or not. If a shot is on target and takes a deflection, the goal is given to the player. If it's off target and goes in, then it's an OG. Bale's shot was going in, hence it's given. The keeper has absolutely no say in it. I don't think it's FPL's fault though, the rules have been around for a few decades

Well then the rules should be changed to make a much more fair game. I have to disagree with you about bale's goal if you look at this highlight video i really feel that it might not have been a goal without the defender's touch (which i think should be classed as an own goal) You are right with those rules i just think its a bit of a scabby sytem and should be changed to avoid all this confusion and controversy

Here here, although the assist thing is a joke. Fair enough I own rvp but would have said the same regardless. I watched it back last night after all the talk on here and went to bed confident because in my eyes it was clear that the def got the last touch. To wake up this morning and see it removed which resulted in an 8pt swing is just a kick in a the nuts. I was struggling this week anyway and now on 62 rather than a much more respectivable 70.

I think its wrong to remove it when the assist was clearly his, i reviewed the pass from various angels. And in the worst case it looks like it slightly toutched Gervinhos long leghairs, and it surely did not affect the ball.

I think, when in doubt, it would be best to follow the descision first made. In this case, to give him the assist wich was first given. FPL f##ed up removing the assist after bonus points was given, annoying.

Wahoo. I'm 37th in Cyprus! Get in!!!

    Green arrows all over.

And to all of those with suarez...dump him. He will get the occasional brace but not a world class striker. He's good at winning pens and free kicks but he is a diving dirty clown. Nothing more than a fantasy points flirt. Ref's have caught up to his ways. at his price not worth it. Any player you have in your team over £9mill you have to have the confidence to captain them. suarez is NOT that candidate IMO. with klasnic, strurridge and gabby better candidates, dump him and upgrade midfield...to lamps...he is chelseas most dangerous player by far

wouldn't say nearly everyone. Still only 21% ownership which to me isn't much when you compare it to Rooney, Silva etc

I lost some points that I absolutely deserved to lose, so the only rational decision I can come to is deciding to quit the game, it's an absolute bloody disgrace.

Exactly, cos Mike Tyson did it first and gave Suarez the idea... but only the casual players have Mike Tyson cos even though he never scores many points they know his name. All of this adds up to give us red arrows and we all cry ourselves to sleep cos we lost our H2H's

I'm trying to work out how I lost 7 points instead of 8 - I was shown 95, now 88, did someone else gain a bonus point which wasn't factored in earlier??

I wonder if anyone assessing the MOTM award on Saturday was sitting there thinking "well RVP played brilliantly, set up two goals and scored one... but maybe that first goal he set up took an almost imperceptible touch off Gervinho, so let's give it to Vermaelen".

      I did
When they discussed his performance and showed it again it deviated and I thought it had touched Gervinho. However I understand that others thought it had touched a defender.
Mind you I had 3/4 bottle of red wine in me so could be an unreliable witness.
As an ancient not young and feisty like you guys I just sit here feeling pleased I kneejerked Rooney the week he was injured for RVP

Anyone who has to make up rules whether for a competition, a club a multi million pound enterprise or laws in parliament knows that they will irritate the hell out of someone and they will be the vocal ones.

Just be glad there is someone doing it.

End of quiet senior rant, dribble dribble nurse, nurse hehe.

We're not talking about fantasy football here, though, we're talking about reality. RVP's performance isn't any better or worse for the fact that the ball skiffed Gervinho. It's only worse in the arbitrary statistical calculation used to dish out bonus points.

Quite tempted to get Gervinho in for Suarez
    I have RVP
Only other option I am considering is Klasnic...

Any opinions on either of these?

Cash would be used to upgrade Tiote > Drenthe, but if I got Klasnic instead of Gervinho I would have over 3m to spend later upgrading elsewhere (would consider getting a ManU defender in after the next gameweek).

I'm pissed off, not at the award/non-award of the assist, but that they did not remove it last night, before awarding bonus points. Farcical.

Dzeko is really annoying me. I take him out for the first time and the next game he scores 4 goals. I bring him back in and he gets dropped. I take him out again and since then, he has scored 4 goals, 2 assists and 6 bonus points in 3 games. Conspiracy!

To claim you weren't chasing with at least some of those moves is ridiculous. Don't let the pithyness of Andy's comment put you off from the fact that its good advice.

If you're going for Dzeko, get him, keep him, accept he'll be out of the team sometimes.
