      They play with a lot of grit and determination. They'll need to buy players that compliment their style plus have skill.
      Shane Long or Ayoze Perez will be good upgrade to Okazaki. Bolasie too as an upgrade from Albrighton.
      If they try to buy too many skillful players they might have to compromise on their style which will hurt them.

          100%.
          At first I thought they were simply lucky. But they seem unbeatable. Players don't just find that kind of belief out of nothing. It has to be the coach. Plus I like the fact that he is willing to sub Mahrez off for the greater good of the team. Very brave.

            an example of how uch he has that team in his pocket. he puts Ulloa at end of game, and the dude scores the winning goal last game.
            that fekin tells it all. ulloa who statrted last yr. hes argentine and argentinians dont like bench. would lov to see audio of his pregame specches

        I think Aggy's ceiling is too high to ignore for the armband.

        I'm not sure on Payet -> Silva. Payet is class, but eve, blank, che is pretty miserable, so it's probably the right call.

    Right, after much thought, I think I'm holding Payet one more week for Everton away. This week will just be Arnie > Siggy.

    Taking a hit for Silva doesn't feel right, even though they have Villa. My gut says Yaya to be honest. Fancy him to bully some more teams.

    A lot of talk of Silva going into teams, what's the thinking? There's plenty of midfielders just as likely to out score him in coming weeks. Silva has only had 2 good scoring weeks all season. Yes they have a couple of good fixtures but I'm sure there's been lots of easy fixtures this season in which he's blanked.
    I'm not convinced.

      1. People see Man City (lots of goals) vs Aston Villa (horrible team)
      2. People go "Huh I already have Aguero, who else can I get"
      3. People see Yaya (lazy), Sterling (minutes + no points), KDB (injured), Fernando (deep lying)
      4. People see Silva and remember his quality
      5. People buy Silve

      Fair point. I guess the thinking is:

      1) AVL next could be a mauling, plus decent fixtures to follow.
      2) Silva scored recently and is back to being fully fit
      3) MCY are starting to look a little better - good win in CL and League Cup, and they probably need to win nearly all of their remaining games to win the title
      4) With no KDB, Silva should be on most set pieces.

      I agree that he's not bang in form though.

        He's just never been the sort of player you bring in for massive instant points, like Arnie last week for example. I fully agree with your argument though. Just wonder if Aguero is enough attacking city cover and more points can be gained elsewhere.

          Will get Kompany in for Bellerin next week (is the plan).

          My current backline:
          Bellerin, Azpi, Daniels, Moreno, Simpson

          Not much better than yours tbh.

      I'm swinging towards D personally, because of their potential higher upside (although a Kompany goal would blow that theory out the water), and I have a similar question, which I'm about to re-post.

      But I'm nervous about waiting another week to get Kompany in.

    Kompany got 2 yellows in 2 games since his comeback. Otamendi never gets them. i think this could be a factor. Both have goal threat - In fact Otamendi has been unlucky not to score a few IMO.

    Which teams are very likely to have doubles in 34? I want to keep some of them in GW 30.

      Almost definite are liverpool and everton since they need to reschedule 2 games.

      Probable are all the other GW30 blanks and maybe City+Newc

      The latter could all technically be rescheduled to 37 i think. But I assume they would take the first open slot - No basis for this assumption though except they don't want to risk a fixture pileup
