I think they do. I've never seen any lack of commitment.

I was posting to an Arsenal fan a couple of nights ago that maybe the problem comes from the lack of belief from the fans...they're a right bunch of moaners. They need to get behind the team more.

So having just done a (very brief) look at things I think it will be hard to get 15 DGW players in for 34 and then field a decent 11 in a reduced GW35. Obviously it does depend on FA cup results (would be handy if arsenal get knocked out for people WCing before 34 for instance) but at the moment I think it may make more sense to try and get 7-9 DGW 34 players before playing the WC in time for DGW 37. Anyone want to tell me I'm wrong?

    1. Anathallo
      • 16 Years
      9 years, 11 months ago

What makes it tricky is that MUN and ARS could have an amazing DGW, and I'd love to have a good number of their players for that...

    2. pablo discobar
      • 16 Years
      9 years, 11 months ago

Big concern would be being massively outscored by bench boosters and having a mountain to climb imo

      1. Anathallo
        • 16 Years
        9 years, 11 months ago

But on the basis of what I'm looking at gw34 bench boosters may face a real struggle in gw35 as strong DGW teams like EVE, MUN, ARS (quite probably) don't have a game. So they may need to take hits. Perhaps though the points gained will make it worthwhile.

At the moment I can have 11 DGW and a strong bench, play BB 34 and should have decent team for 35
          With WC still in place

I would have been able to roll a transfer wk30 if I had decided to take hit to get kompany this week for bellerin who sat on bench

Also needs to be considered that we could see a lot of rotation in gw 37, as you would think a lot more things are finalised at that stage, i see less rotation in gw 34

But if you could still keep your wildcard, it's not a moot point. I think I may be having a fair few DGW'rs without playing my wildcard, so might as well save.

    GW 30 Team;

    GK Lloris
    DEF Simpson, Woolshide, Kompany
    MID Alli, Silva, Siggy, Mahrez
    FWD Aguero, Kane, Vardy

Subs (Hennesey, Van Dick, (Ozil) (Api)

I`m assuming Arsenal beat Hull there, and I hope they do cos many of my mini league rivals would be in trouble

With that line up best to save my transfer? I can`t see anyone standout to bring in, unless Arsenal do go out and then Bellerin could be tempting. Am I missing anyone?

I don't see the point in selling Courtois . I am going to sell Spiegel instead

It's so close. I guess I'd go Fabianski. Prefer their fixtures and fancy Swans to play some good games to avoid relegation.

Got so close this week to a full sequence but I had players that scored 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. Just missed out on the 3 and 4 pointers.

Do Arsanal have a gw30 for sure or does it depend on a fa cup result?

Will depend on the FA Cup result vs Hull

If they Win against Hull Midweek, they won't play in GW30.

Third season of playing a hit a week this year...and first big fail.

I've so far done 18k and 9k and this time I'm languishing at 210k. It's been quite easy in past seasons, look at the ticker and pick the form players from the easier fixtures...and don't be shy.

Not sure why it's failed so badly so far...maybe the lack of reliability with Aguero early on or unreliable defensive picks (ticker wise)..

    I'll soldier on.

Strange cause I did a check a few weeks ago and compared the next few games for those who just had double point score and percentages of good returns was high. So if you were bringing players in based on last week score alone you should have done well unless you were taking them out soon afterwards

Really...mmmm. Dunno what I've done wrong. One of the problems with playing this way that I like to do is that you end up taking out great picks..

Anyone have a way to show me the teams with a double gameweek on GW34?

Sanchez > Silva worked out ok in the end. Typical Silva, 6 chances created but not a single shot at goal!

Yeah but he's a beautiful player when he's on his game.

Should be in theory able to get 9 DGW players in for GW34. Then I can take a -8 to get a full team out. Thinking triple captain will be good to use there.

Then WC GW36 and field 15 players (bench boost) in GW37 (DGW also).

Thoughts? Also, is there an approximate date these matches will be announced?
