Fantasy Football Scout – Paddy Power Cup V – Entry Now Open

The fifth instalment of the open-to-all free-to-enter cup competition is back, with some fantastic prizes to boot. What is the Paddy Power Cup?

The Paddy Power Cup is our version of the Fantasy Premier League’s (FPL) Fantasy Cup game. Entrants who qualify for the first round will be randomly drawn against each other and the winner of the tie is whoever has the highest score from that gameweek, minus points spent on transfers (like in the original game and in head-to-head scores). In the event of a tie, the Manager with highest in the overall standing will progress.

How do I enter?

As with the Members Paddy Power Cup, entry for the competition is simple, just follow this link and fill out the form as required. A confirmation email will be sent shortly after you’ve submitted your details to acknowledge your entry has been received. Just like the FPL, multiple entries to the Cup are not permitted. Please ensure that you enter your FPL Team Id details correctly, any entries added incorrectly will not be entered into the qualifying round.

This cup is open to Members and Non-Members alike. A seperate Members only Cup will follow early in the New Year.

When does it start?

All entries received before the Gameweek 12 deadline will be entered into the qualifying round. In this first cup competition we will have 1024 qualifiers for the first round – those 1024 managers with the top scores in gameweek 12 will progress to the first round proper which will be played in gameweek 13. Again, FPL standing will decide who progresses in the event of tied positions.

When will I find out if I’ve qualified?

Results from the qualifying round will be published around 24-hours after gameweek 12 has been completed and the draw for the first round will then follow.

When are the fixtures released?

The fixture list for each round will be published a day or two before each gameweek deadline.

Are there prizes?

Sponsors Paddy Power are supplying the competition with some great prizes and we’re supplementing these with Amazon Vouchers. The prizes break down as follows:

Winner – £150 worth of free bets. £50 Amazon Voucher
Runner-up – £75 worth of free bets. £30 Amazon Voucher
3rd Place – £50 worth of free bets. £20 Amazon Voucher

Entrants will need a Paddy Power account and be aged 18 and over to be eligible for some of the above prizes. Prizes are also subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions.

If you’ve yet to register a Paddy Power account, then you can sign up via this site and get a free £20 when you register and bet £10.

  Exact two moves I've made already but with Bos -> Jags and Ba -> Bendtner. I think its a sound move. Decent run of fixtures coming up for both.

        if i were you, i would do the exact same moves. not sure bendtner's gonna do a lot if ur looking for a long term replacement for doyle
        keep bendtner for 2/3 weeks then swap him with ba after gw 14
