Our first delve into the members’ data brings Arsenal and West Ham’s midfielders onto Tuesday evening’s radar. City’s returning Belgian, the options up front on Tyne-Wear and Everton’s recent form in the final third are also analysed as we restructure our squads for the doubles.
THIS IS SO EXCITING!
So many people are taking risks last week and this week... Even those NOT on WC are taking risks by not going with the template WC..
LOTS of us are going to be overtaken, purely due to the variance of teams.
It could be glorious, or disastrous 😀Im betting on the latter 😆
Who are the Hazards and Walcotts.. and who are the Mahrez's and Alli's.... 😛
Walcott you say.... Now thats an idea 😉
Na but seriously Ramsey could be a great enabler for us WCn laterRuddy - Darlow
Rose - Walker - Kolarov - Targett - Shaw
Walcott - Hazard - Yaya - KdB - Mata
Martial - Welbeck - Mitrovic
😉We have a winner
No Depay?? Ludicrous!!!
This is so typical at the end of each season. Wish I just went for a pretty standard setup keeping the likes of Kane, Mahrez and Leicester-defender, but of course I am going for people like Lanzini, Martial etc. that I would never have touched otherwise.
This is probably going to end in misery... 🙁Time to go out in a blaze of glory!
^^^
After this disastrous season , things can only change to the better!
I couldn't live without the risks.
Worth downgrading smalling>Darmian so that i can upgrade Lanzini>Lennon
No.
I'm not convinced that Lennon is an upgrade. I'd keep Smalling and am going for Lanzini or Iwobi
No
Cheers that has confirmed my own view have seen a lot of love for Lennon on these pages.
No mate, that would be two downgrades and Darmian/Lennon gametime is a risk!
Lanzini>Lennon is not an upgrade..
The last struggle in my team...
Mignolet & Clichy
or
Hart & Sakho.
Which pair more nailed on?B) More nailed
Great minds...
🙂
Lanzini or Antonio? Going with Ozil instead of Payet. Can't have both.
Antonio about to moved back to midfield so could be amongst the goals again
Lanzini for me
I see a lot of people not liking double Liverpool defence. If I have DDG then would Sakho & Clyne be such a big risk? It's no different to Migs and Sakho right?
Its no different but I just dont like the Liverpool double up.
I just dont like the Liverpool def but Clyne with his attacking threat n doubles worth the risk..
After a long, hard, gruelling 1,333 days Rangers are back where they belong 😀 😀 😀 😀
"Oh Warburton is magic, he wears a magic hat...." 🙂As an Aberdeen fan I am glad they are back. The Premiership will be much better for it. Hope we can see a new era of healthy banter filled rivalry as opposed to the vile that existed before.
Fingers crossed. I am not holding any grudges against the teams that voted us down. There will probably still be the usual vile which may be perhaps worsened after the treatment we've been subjected to by Celtic fans.
This.
Cannae believe me beloved Killie are lookin screwed though.Theyll stay up. Dundee utd will go down and Killie will beat Hibs in the playoff
There's hope! 😀
Not to rain on your parade but a club with the rangers name would be more accurate.
Can't get liquidated, sell assets to a new company who then apply for a football license and get introduced to a league as a new club would have to be i.e. in the bottom tier and then claim to be the same club.
Good luck next season Scottish football needs strong teamshttp://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/13215104.FIFA_step_into_new_row_over_Rangers__old_or_new_club__status/
FIFA and UEFA would also disagree
"The decision, very clearly from the commission, was that the club is the same, the club continues, albeit it is owned by a new company, but the club is the same.
"It's the same club, absolutely.
"The member club is the entity that participates in our league and we have 42 member clubs."This!
Not going to get into a debate but that is preposterous.
If it was the same club why did they have to apply for a new license? You can't get liquidated and walk away from your debts and responsibilities and still hope to call yourself the same club. It is like saying debts are the companies but the trophies are the clubs?
The players were able to walk away from the club for free too as the club that held their registration (not company) were disbanded and a new football license applied for.
I know why you want it to be the same club but just because I want to wake up beside scarlett johansen every morning doesn't mean I can.
Good to have an ibrox team back in top flight though and best of luck to ye.Ps rangers were not relegated, they were disbanded and had to apply for a license to play football which meant they could only start at the bottom tier.
There was even a chance that summer that a license would not be granted dye to fears of litigation from non league clubs who should have been first in line for any new position that became vacant in the league structure.
Thankfully the ibrox club was given a license as long term it is better for Scottish football imo as this new club with facilities in place have a much better chance of making top flight football more competitive. The club were moved out of the holding PLC prior to the PLC being placed in liquidation. At no point did Rangers Football Club cease to be.
UEFA’s view on clubs going newco
http://www.uefa.com/memberassociatio...lub/index.html
88 Rangers FC SCO 0.375 6.533 12.720 2.050 0.860 22.538
Note the same club are receiving national co-efficient points despite not being in Europe. +0.860 for season 2012/13 This figure will adjust as season progresses and Rangers ranking will fluctuate.
Rangers are the same club but different company number:
ECA - http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/r...nises-history/
"Taking into account that the 'new entity' also acquired the goodwill of the 'old entity', it was held by the ECA executive board that the goodwill, taking into account legal and practical arguments, also included the history of the 'old company'.
"Consequently it was concluded that Rangers FC was entitled to associated membership of ECA as considered to be a founding member."None of the above matters. If it was the same club why did it have to apply for a new football license and admittance to the league?
The club ran up those debts buying players and paying them without paying tax not some secret non connected business. To have the nerve to try and argue that the club is separate and should not be liable for the debts is just rediculous. If they wanted to be the same club then administration and working out an agreement whereby the club paid it's debts was the only way to do so.
If clubs can just liquidate and take 3 or 4 years of pain then why bother trying to pay back debts when they get so big? Why bother paying taxes?
Football just can't work and will not be able to get credit facilities if it is accepted that the loan is to a company who can be separated from the club while the club moves on under a different company."If clubs can just liquidate and take 3 or 4 years of pain then why bother trying to pay back debts when they get so big? Why bother paying taxes?"
You might not like it but it happens everyday in life. The SFA, SPFL, FIFA, UEFA, ECA, ASA, high court judges etc recognise Rangers as the same club, just because fans of Celtic, Aberdeen etc don't want them to be doesn't make it so.See this is where you are wrong. The others just take their lead from the sfa who besides being corrupt themselves have a vested interest in trying to promote a same club narrative as they want to be able to sell and "old firm" derby to TV companies and advertisers. The sfa tried everything in their powers to prevent the tragedy of rangers dying and a new ibrox club having to apply for a new license and build from the bottom tier. But sporting integrity demailed by the Scottish fans meant that they couldn't in the end.
The nimo Smith thing is a load of balls too as he his verdicts were proven wrong by the supreme Court re tax evasion and if he was wrong in a simple matter of law what makes you think he was right regarding an area he has no expertise in like football administration?
Sorry for the tragedy that was brought on your club by Mr. Murray and King (who was on the board when all this mess started) but it cannot be reversed, rewritten forgotten or otherwise made to never exist so that rangers can be the same club (minus the huge debt the wracked up chasing football trophies). The SFA and high court lord's are wrong, Dino is right....Now you couldn't sound more bitter if you tried! Why did Rangers pay back all football debt to the SFA and other clubs when they went into the 3rd division...if they were some new club?
Why does everything with ye Scots have to come down to bitterness and personal attacks?
I'm far from bitter as I am pretty ambivalent about the whole thing. My understanding is they didn't pay back all football debts and this why they went under?
As I say I couldn't really care less about the new rangers but any club going out of business and restarting (applying for a new football license) claiming the same history and reneging on their debts which put businesses to the wall I do take issue with. As a business owner I know what it's like to not get paid by a company for work done and let me tell you it is not nice. They paid back all football debts owed, Scottish clubs and European clubs "GAIS, Orebro, Palermo and Rapid Vienna have all confirmed"
What about social taxes and the 250k from the lns enquiry?
Afaik there were over 200 creditors from caterers to face painters who were not paid back tooNo doubt lots of innocent people lost out and a lot of these face-painters etc are still Rangers fans.
The SFA transferred Rangers full membership over, they didn't apply for a new one. One of the conditions was that they they paid debt to other football clubs which they did. They had to accept a 12-month embargo from signing players and £160,000 fine. A new club wouldn't do have to do any of this so your argument doesn't stand in any way no matter how many times you reply with "My understanding is" or "AFAIK".
You can keep replying if you wish going round in circles, i won't be.Didnt realise this thread was still going. I agree with everything you have said Ninja. While it is awful that some business lost out in a significant amount of money (relative) Rangers are still the same club. Ninja has put forward the arguement perfectly - If UEFA, FIFA, SFA recognise them as the same club then they are still the same club.
A) Hart and Sakho
B) Mignolet and Clichy?Clichy is far from nailed so A
I think Clichy is as nailed as Sakho..
My WC team hinges on whether I'm prepared to sell Kane.
Selling him means I can strengthen throughout (particular GK/DEF) but will be torture each time he scores between now and the end of the season!im having the same dilema mate. getting him back in will be so hard though as i would have lost quite a bit on him.
What you thinking?
Slightly different GW33 WC GW34BB draft
Thoughts appreciated:
__________DDG________Robles________
Bellerin__Sakho__Smalling__Rojo_Creswell
Coutinho_Sanchez_Firmino_Lennon_Lanzini
Aguero__________Lukaku________Mitrovic
0.1 itbLooks like you may have too much cash in defence?
Downgrade Cresswell
Upgrade Lennon...maybeHow about Creswell + Lennon > Gabriel + Barkley
Rock Bottomed
Robles Mignolet
Bellerin Gabriel Simpson Mangala Sahko
Sanchez KdB Payet Lanzini Coutinho
Aguero Martial Lukaku
Does it need Man United def?
I like the idea if Man City def. Mangala or Hart ?
Is Dann worth a punt?Hart & Smalling if you can afford.. or Mangala De Gea if poss?
The next Rate My Wildcard Team Surgery is now open...next up is Andy, who wants to talk about Kevin.
http://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2016/04/06/rate-my-wildcard-team-surgery-part-two/So my plan up until GW35 is:
WC now
Save transfer
Bring in Azpilicueta and Kane for Smalling and Martial
Current WC team:
Robles, Schmeichel
Simpson, Smalling, Gabriel, Ake, Sakho,
Payet, Sanchez, Iwobi, Coutinho, Mahrez,
Aguero, Martial, Lukaku.
Think that's my finalised plan, unless injuries or boredom hits.RMWCT please - Take 1.2
DDG/ Robles
Sakho Mangala Simpson Bellerin Gabriel
Payet Coutinho Mahrez Lanzini Sanchez
Kun Martial Lukaku
0 ITB
ThanksVery nice, not sure I can see many City clean sheets in the double but it's a differential call with Mangala.
Shi* defence WC, thoughts?
Robles Darlow
Delaney Morgan Bellerin Fuchs STaylor
Iwobi Payet Sanchez KDB Coutinho
Kane Aguero LukakuRid of KDB or Aguero
Upgrade defenceI'd rather have a crap defender and Kane than Martial/Mitrovic and Smalling. Is that what you're suggesting?
Martial plays Villa at home, despite United not being the top scorers in the league I expect them to get 2 or 3 at least
Defence is very weak
I like the double up on Lei defence, i myself am considering Morgan and Simpson. Maybe get rid of Delaney and Saylor for Klose and Gabriel? Lanzini for Iwobi?
Balls that KDB rise has scuppered me plans! I thought it was happening today!
Any issues with this low team value WC effort?
DDG Darlow
Bellerin Gabriel Sakho Jags Delaney
Payet Sanchez Coutinho Lanzini Lennon
Mitrovic Lukaku Kun
0.0 itb
33 - 4 DGWers
34 - 15 DGWers
35 - 10 players (-4 to get 11)
37 - 9 DGWersNot sure on the money but I would prefer Martial to Mitrovic
maybe Bellerin > Monreal (sideways move)
Jags > someone elsegood thoughts. I could do:
Bellerin -> Monreal
Jags -> Simpson
Mitrovic -> Martial
0.0 itb
Which would give me 11 for GW 35 as well.
so which one?
a) Bellerin Jags Mitrovic
b) Monreal Simpson MartialYes do B!! I really like B
A
ha... any other opinions on a or b?
B is good
Think I'm g2g?
Robles | Darlow
Bellerin | Simpson | Moreno | Gabriel | Rojo
Sanchez | Payet | KDB | Coutinho | Lanzini
Sturridge | Aguero | LukakuRojo is a concern but apart form that you have a really strong team and several playing in GW35. I'm jealous.
He's a concern for me as well, I can't afford any other United defender, so I'd rather take the risk instead of going without. Cheers!
I like the sturridge punt at the expense of more certainty at the back (Rojo)
Cheers, If only i had .4 ITB I'd get Mangala instead.
what a team
what are chances rashford plays next 3 games?
i'm sure he'll play them all but probably only start 1 or 2
will rooney be back already? Or who would start instead of him?
Start at least 2 I imagine. I think people are forgetting that Man Utd (and West Ham for that matter) have an FA Cup QF a couple of days before the DGW. Could affect minutes.
thanks, should be considered.
One of the reasons for my post below.
Both are also competing for Champions League football though
Cresswell have blank and conceded goal in his last 3 games. But Tomkins and Collins are fit to play next GW.
Should I keep Cresswell or sell him for ?
A. Gabriel (I have Bellerin)
B. DarmainIf by having 2 Arsenal defenders you are sacrificing having 2 Arsenal mids then I wouldn't do it however if you are ok with that then I'd get Gabriel or even Monreal if you can afford him. Darmian is not nailed
Not often do I think a defender is worth a hit unless a DGW replacing an injured player. However, De Gea who does not play GW35 is by far the best Man U cover for the price. Therefore, I will carry him with Darlow playing GW35. Migs is the obvious choice but I want a pool defender, Coutinho and the Studge GW34.
Make any sense?can I have a judge / suggestion on this WC team?
Unfortunately my TV is relatively low, so this is what I can afford:
DDG - Robles
____ - Gabriel - Sakho - Simpson - ____
Sanchez - Coutinho - Payet - Mahrez - ____
Aguero - Lukaku - Kane
which combo for missing spots:
A. Bellerin + Ward + Lingard
B. Koscielny + Reid + Lingard
C. Koscielny + Ward + Lanzini
?Hmmm... I'd say C for security of starts
I like A. Some risk with Lingard, but Manu attacking cover for 34 is nice
is mangala a better option than jags?
Watch how City defend tonight might give you an idea
I'm hoping so! I have him in because Kompany won't be back for a while, and they have strong 33/35 fixtures (obviously I'm hoping he plays in 35!!!)
Who's more likely to play all of 33-35 between Clichy and Mangala? Want city cover at the back - Clichy seems to have nailed LB again and Mangala will play as long as Vinny is out.
Hmm
thanks 🙂
Dear god why won't the cleaner leave? I'm going to explode.
Stable hand?
Giggidy.
Those with Mitrovic: Are you going to play him this week? I'm leaning towards benching for Lanzini.
Plan on playing him yes.
Mainly as don't want Payet AND Lanzini against Arsenal
Latest offering and feel like it's got a lot of potential. Thoughts?
DDG - Darlow
Smalling - Sakho - Gabriel - Delaney - Morgan
Sanchez - Ozil - Coutinho - Payet - Lanzini
Aguero - Lukaku - Mitrovic
Really happy with the double ups on United defence and Arsenal attack. Will probably start with Barkley and do Barkley > Ozil in 34.Really strong team all round. Kudos.
A) Gabriel and Lanzini
OR
B) Reid/Ogbonna and Iwobi
(Already have Bellerín, Sánchez and Payet.)A
Lots of Lanzini/Payet double ups, is Lanzini safe from being rotated? And do we expect anything whatsoever from Leicester away?
a) KDB, Mitrovic
b) Ozil, MartialB, don't get swept up on the KDB wagon
this
What a DGW WC does to your team - For GW33 I'm benching:
Cech - Martial - Bellerin - Smalling 😎
Playing:
Robles - Alli - Sakho - Delaney instead 😮Only getting Smalling in for 34. Punting on Coleman in 33 (will play ahead of Bellerin)
Coleman's a great call....
Isn't he? And Everton has shaped up away.
Might be Bellerin over Simpson. Been burned by benching him too much lately
Play Bellerin, he is in outrageous form
True....
Oops replied to my own comment rather than posting afresh!:
Who's more likely to play all of 33-35 between Clichy and Mangala? Want city cover at the back - Clichy seems to have nailed LB again and Mangala will play as long as Vinny is out.
HmmEveryone bar Ota/Hart is a risk.
Clichy is much better than Mangala, but so is his alternative player (Kola over Dem)Sorry Sjaugen! Cheers for replying, got busy.
Do you reckon I should just get Otamendi in, then? Would mean putting Darlow in for Migs and having no Liverpool players lol
