There’s emotion in the air as we prepare to bid goodbye to another season in tonight’s ScoutCast.

I’m joined by Jonty, Andy and Luke as we take the opportunity to look back on our campaigns, dwelling on our successes and regrets and recalling our favourite moments from a most testing Fantasy Football season.

We also take time to identify out lessons learned and appraise the Fantasy Premier League season, carrying out a “Chips Post Mortem”, whilst discussing the likely impact of next season’s Friday night kick-offs.

Finally, for one last time this term, we look forward to the weekend and attempt to identify the final day heroes who could yet make an impression on ranks and mini-leagues.

        Its Aguero at the end of the day, in hot form and fighting for 4th place. I am going without though as it would involve a hit and losing hazard 🙁 . Go with your gut, Giroud sounds good too and is something different.

      Again, thanks for the very helpful answers. I reckon Aguero is always a good bet, but I fear Giroud will get headed goals against Villa. I would also rather keep Martial. This will go down to the wire, but I am leaning to Aguero just because so many will have him.

        Was talking to a friend about it..if they spin it as LVG retiring after FA Cup Final then everyone wins. He doesn't have to get sacked, Woodward doesn't have to sack him and new manager is sorted already to give 'good feelings' going into matchday 38 and final.

        But really you could write any narrative you'd like lol..

      It's not entirely clear what you're saying, but Firm and Studge to Aguero and Tadic for free are absolutely gold. The other suggestion is indecipherable.

          No, I wouldn't say so. I would have said Giroud is worth a hit but you are maxed out on Arsenal, so I would just do those two.

    One thing ive noticed is that whatever the stats say, the player still needs to be good enough to score the shots and chances. Made the mistake with Andy Carrol (high shots, high big chances), do i make the same mistake with Giroud????

      This is a key question. Le Donc has what loks like easy pickins, while Kun has a challenging away match without Silva. Everything but talent says that Giroud is the pick, yet everyone says Aguero is the one. For this one GW, is it going to come down to talent?

    Chasing 6 points, current differentials:

    A) Hart, Payet, Lanzini, Carroll

    B) Mignolet, Tadic, Alli, Kane

    I'm thinking of taking out Lanzini/Carroll for Giroud & Mane (-4) and captaining Giroud?

    He'll transfer out Alli for another mid, someone budget maybe Lanzini tbh as he's made the transfer and can see his remaining balance.

    Teams very similar, hazard, kane and utd keeper only differentials. No one has chips left (thank God)

        Price. Already wrapped up 250 in another league. This wk was tough. Rivals had TC'd payet and hazard but I stayed ahead with a 75 -8 but crap (c) choice (Carroll)

        Yeah.. but that's what subs are for..
        Not sure I want to take a hit.
        It would make more sense if there were more games later.

        Hard to tell how each team will line up in fairness
        Giroud is being talked up a bit but he could be benched for Wally too.

        Russian roulette..

        Tempted to just go with Willian- KDB and just be done with it.

        Although Carroll is just sitting there with a big smile on him after doing FA with the armband and maybe deserves punishment.
        He could turn around and grab a goal or two just as well tho.

            This might surpise you, but I always look at your tables, and have done already. I gather that you are saying that Lamela has picked up the slack. I can't decide whether that means anything. There is not a lot of history supporting the idea that Lamela stepping up replaces what made Harry so effective. Lately (I know it's a small sample size) he has not done well without his old mates. But I rate your opinion, so I will be thinking hard on this one.
