Price Changes | Mon 28 Nov 03:00 AM UK Time
+ Vorm ; Williams, Walker ; Ba, Adebayor
- Hutton, Savic, Upson, Stearman ; LukakuOpen ControlsRight on time as usual, thanks natt... had Vorm and (just) bought Adebayor before the deadline. Now have to hope Nani, VDV and possibly Ramsey don't fall too much this GW.

A) Boyata > Naylor, Brunt > Sinclair/Sess
B Boyata > Naylor, wait til after newcastle plays chelsea then Brunt > Ben ArfaOpen ControlsYou may regret losing Boyata. Just saying.
Open ControlsNot set on the move despite both choices suggesting it...i suppose he would claim his spot as soon as his fitness permits... i have rtaylor enrique jones and wilko too...any advice
ps. mids are silva vdv pilk brunt walters.Open ControlsBrunt, who seemed to be such a good choice after last season, just doesn't look like he's on the money this year. It won't help with Odemwingie, another goal and bonus magnet from last year doing nowt. Decent long term fixtures though. Tough call. Your team looks basically sound Merdo.

Any of you Antipodeans know how Jafalad came through his OP? Keep us updated please.
Open ControlsAll good Flynny! Thanks for your kind thoughts š
Had a disechtomy to remove a prolapsed disc (L4/5). Feel like there's a hole in my back š
Been wiped out by anaesthetics and various drugs. 24 hours on painkillers š
My problems are nothing though. I'm in total shock about Gary Speed. I remember how well he played for us 88-96-top, top player. Strachan, Batty, McAllistair and Speedo were an incredible midfield. Desperately sad news.Open ControlsMorning Jafa! Glad the op went well.
Shocking news about GS eh - it just doesn't make sense. Thoughts go out to his family. He was a Leeds ledge.Open Controls
This a big dilemna for next week:
Krul or Vorm??
I feel nucastle are a big team this season and at home they will be very good and Chelsea are hapless..
on the other hand I think Blackburn will snik a goal in against Swansea..
What to do??? suggestions plzOpen Controlsgood means contending, which i think newcastle has already shown. however, this could come with goals on either side... sturridge is on a mini role, and mata killed it.. lampard may play to really compete since being benched.
tough though, I would go VormOpen ControlsI think either of those could fill the goalie spot home or away with out too much damage.
Open ControlsI must say I strongly believe Swansea, with their excellent clean sheet record, playing against a relegation-form team, is a better choice than Newcastle, who despite their amazing form, have not kept quite as many sheets clean, and are playing a relatively strong team like Chelsea. That being said, I think NUFC might win it though.
Open Controlsmaking the same choice and will in all probability go with Vorm. Newcastle could sneak a clean sheet but I doubt it and I also have Sturridge playing
Open ControlsVorm. Newcastle have done well alright but against the biggest they still can’t keep the CS –conceded 3 v City and one v United. Chelsea don’t have great difficulty scoring, it’s the CS that’s the problem for them. Blackburn on the other hand score less and have a better scoring record away not at home where they play Swansea, who have a decent defence and managed a CS away at Anfield. Their possession football helps reduce chances and given how much Blackburn give possession away, there might not be many chances!
Open Controls
Guys, how's this for WC team.
Vorm
Jagielka Vermaelen BAE
Walters Bale Adam Silva
RVP Adebayor Ba
Subs: Westwood, Simpson, Allen, Enrique
* Pool have a good run of fixtures and Adam has been central to a lot of their play. Potential differential.
* Trying to set my self up for double GW for tott & eve in GW20
Any thoughts?Open ControlsThink you have too much money spread across too many defenders. Remember you will only play 3 of them every week. I would get another 4.0 and upgrade Jags to Baines.
Open ControlsStonkingly good. Hang on while I copy it down. What does it cost.
Open Controls? ? ? ? No question mark Pffft! You'd think it was four in the morni.............. Oh.
Open Controls
Plenty of time to get in Tott and Ev between now and GW20 so why WC?
Agree on Adam but still costs too much for me.
First impressions are too much money in defense and no Chelsea or MU in this team.
I would go Baines rather than Verm. Downgrade Jags to a 4.xM bencher. Maybe the same with BAE too, (you can get him in just before GW20). Then maybe you would have the cash to get Sturridge or Mata or Hernandez in.Open ControlsDon't know how tight money is, but....
*Krul in for Westwood
*Jags out for someone?
*If you have to justify the inclusion of Adam, that means you're so-so on him - I'd swap him for someone else
*Wouldn't worry about the double gw right nowOpen Controls
Vorm. Newcastle have done well alright but against the biggest they still can't keep the CS - conceded 3 v City and one v United. Chelsea don't have great difficulty scoring, it's the CS that's the problem for them. Blackburn on the other hand score less and have a better scoring record away not at home where they play Swansea, who have a decent defence and managed a CS away at Anfield. Just read this, Sci-fi/fantasy. But definitely a cut above and quite different from what you may expect. I'm looking forward to the second.
http://www.theyesterdaytrilogy.net/Open ControlsMrs Flynny does, which I nick (borrow) for the odd thing I can't get a hard copy of Udit. They are a lot cheaper this year apparently. But I'm not up on what's good.
Open Controls
Early suggestions?
Vorm
Baines, Shwacross, Brown, Naylor
VDV, Bale, Silva, Drenthe, Dyer
Agbonlahor, Adebayor, Kun
Gameweek 13 - 60
Season - 768Open ControlsGet another goalie and defender? š Looks fine ATF.
Open ControlsGiven and Simpson š
Open Controls
Are you planning on doing anything with Agbonlahor and Drenthe? I have Aggie and I feel tempted to trade him out for Ba this week
Open ControlsBa is on the radar for Gabby and Drenthe ???
Open Controls
You don't need help. Agbon & Drenthe could do with replacements.
Open ControlsGreat score but no RVP? How have you managed that? šÆ
Open ControlsAll fine Udit, thanks š 6 months of rehab coming up š How did you go in L5? Looks like I got smashed. I'll blame the drugs š
Open Controls
Back op? Didn't hear about that, guess I haven't been on much this week
Hope you're feeling all right mateOpen ControlsA bit of luck. (without any of the so-called, classic 'Top 4')
Open Controls
Strong side, Anti Top Four Says... might be time to move Agbonlahor on? Although a MOM display against Swansea might suggest otherwise?
Open ControlsLooking to bring in Ba (most likely) - considering Bentdner and keeping an eye on what happens with Odemwngie...Drenthe, on the other hand, is another question. Considered Walters (my mistake), Sessegnon, Milkman, Eagles, Brunt...
Open Controls
so I have woodgate and evans, 2 ft and 0.3 in the bank,
am I crazy thinking silva->ben arfa,
Woodgate->baines?Open ControlsI would think so yes. Silva has been on fire and he is getting an assist or goal every 88 minutes this season (or something like that). As good as Baines is, I'd get him if Everton were a constant source of cleanies (like last year), but it's not happening.
I'd do Woodgate->Brown and Evans to, I dunno, Enrique or Walker?Open ControlsHow much short are you?
Open Controls
How about Shawcross ( bad fixtures) to Jagielka?
Open Controls
ah, I thought you were talking about cricket
Open Controls
Which Spurs/Everton players are people lining up for the DGW? I'm planning on this lot:
VDV, Bale, Ade
Jags, DrentheOpen ControlsJust Tottenham's holy trinity for me
Well, I guess VDV should be in there stillOpen ControlsThumbs up! Baines for me though.
Open ControlsBaines or Jags over the next 8 weeks or so is the big question, elr. Baines might outscore Jags, but will it be worth the 2.5 extra? How many more points over Jags do you think Baines will score?
Open Controls
I have four of those.............................So it looks like you're in trouble Jinswick. š
Open ControlsHaha, you gonna take the plunge with Bale or Baines as well? Had planned to wildcard GW21, but Spurs fixtures are actually decent up to GW23 so I may hold fire. When are you planning the Jan wildcard for?
Open ControlsNo B&B for me..............February for the winter W/C
Open Controls
Twitter rumours : Steve Bruce sacked?
Open ControlsWouldn't be surprised. Shouldn't have sold Bent.
Open ControlsIt looks like it's happening. Martin O'Neil is set to be the new manager
One former Norwich player replacing another!Open ControlsOh, that sounds good for a Bendtner and a Larson owner! š
New manager syndrome to kick in soon?Open Controls
Giving it one more GW to see if I need to take the WC.
Open ControlsMy 2nd eve player will be a GW20 transfer depending who is playing the best...I already have the spurs 3 and thinking about bringing in Jags after the Arsenal game.
Open ControlsIt's turning out to be an ok Gameweek after Vorm, N.Dyer, Silva and Kompany played yesterday, on 48 points with some possible bonus points coming š Green arrows all round!
Here's my team for this weekend:
Vorm (Krul)
Brown Wilkinson Kompany
Ramsey VDV Lampard Silva (N.Dyer)
Sturridge RVP Adebayor
I'm VERY concerned about this team for the weekend... I can see RVP and Ramsey being rested vs Wigan. Wenger has said he will rotate and a fixture vs Wigan doesn't come much easier, plus he's said he as fatigue concerns over the two.
Then i have VDV injured and Lampard sitting on 4 yellows, will he sit out at Newcastle with Man.City up next game....
And then there's Silva and Kompany! š
Any thoughts on any of the above people?
Thanks šOpen Controls(Simpson, Evans other defenders) sorry.
Open ControlsI would get Ramsey out. This rotation news is new to me. He was playing wigan so I was thinking one could hold him one more week. However, his solid play just has not transferred to points.
That said, I like your lineup for the long run...you could try a walters/larson/or even sess/sinclair for rams.Open Controls
Personally I don't think rvp will be rested as he won't play midweek, vdv should be fine by then, you may want to get rid of lampard
Open ControlsCheers chaps, i'm planning a dream subs-bench!
Lampard out for sure, i'll def keep RVP but i'm considering shipping Ramsey out.
I'm thinking Arshavin, Diaby, Benayoun etc may be getting some gametime.....?Open ControlsDo not, under any circumstances, bring that fat Russian into your team. The other 2 will barely play either. Avoid like the plague. I have Ramsey also, and have an itchy trigger finger. If he plays tomorrow he could be on his way out - Walters/Sess/Larsson the only real options for me in that price bracket (or Sinclair if you don't already have him)...if he is rested, I'll probably give him one last go at Wigan.
Open Controls
I actually think Man City will play a relatively strong line up vs Norwich. We've been a test for everyone this year and I think the bustling style of Morison will be a handful for the Man City defence. Norwich has struggled this year against silky midfielders (Sinclair and Mata come to mind) so I think Silva will play
Can't answer the rest though, I'm unsure about themOpen ControlsThink i'll wait for the scout picks this week, too much to ponder.
Reckon i'll be making 2-3 transfers though....Open Controls
any suggestion with my attack? Ramsey and Sinclair annoying, they're quiet for a long time. Aguero seems to lose form
Silva, VDV , Ramsey, Sinclair, Dyer
RVP Adebarndoor AgueroOpen Controls+107
Open Controlsyou could take a gamble with dzeko. he looked strong the time he was on. cheech is consistent. but i would maybe hold for ba after this next gameweek.
you could get ramsey out. trade aguero for a cheaper striker and invest in walcott or even a triple up on spurs with Bale...that is rather aggressive. Just keep tabs of what happens midweek.Open Controls
Wanted to sell Rooney for Adeb, gutted missed out on him at 8.7 so no point to do it at the minute. Also, smth is telling me to resist Adeb and keep Rooney š Not sure as thus far.
What should I do?
Team going into next week before changes
Vorm
Komp - Shawx- Enrique
Larsson - VDV- Silva- Walters
Hoilett - Rooney - RVP (( C))
Subs : Brown, BJ, Evans and Ruddy.Open Controlssame with me, but I was thinking of replacing rooney with ba or someone but take a kook at his fixtures.... you've got a good team get rid of evans I think and save a transfer
Open ControlsActually, Rooney looked lively and was always a threat on Sat though he didn't score. But looking at it long term wise, it's no way he's going to keep playing up front. Fergie will get him back to a midfield role again once a sudden injury or suspension happens. On the other hand, Bolton have been absolutely shite so far this season, feel like I don't want to lose out on very likely goal fest at WHL next weekend.
Open Controlsyou already have vdv maybe get in bale for walters?
Open Controls
I would like to see some predictions on this from the chaps around here. Baines and Jags scores till the Jan wild card, anyone?
Open ControlsBaines to outscore Jags by 12pts. But is it worth the extra?
Open ControlsEvery time Everton get a penalty or he scores from a free kick, he'll get 6 points more. 3 BPs are a certainty after that, so that's 10 points effectively only .
Interesting...Open Controls
Lotto?
Open Controls
Done my trannies already:
Barndoor in for Bendtner
Bale in for VDV
and...er...Cerny in for Kenny š
Couldn't face another week of looking at Bendtner and VDV in my team š”Open Controlsbendtner got it, but why vdv, hasn't he been a loyal servant?
Open ControlsHe's a 60 minute loyal servant! Once the hammy goes, he becomes a liability all season long. Bale does the same thing for 2 mill less. Reluctantly had to keep Nani because of these fix.
Open Controlsyes but you can't captain bale can you? he'll get 2 for 5 weeks and then 10+.
Open ControlsA gutsy play Jafa. I've been tempted to do the same, but VDV is such a shooting whore, that whenever he plays he looks like scoring. Thinking of having all 3 for the DGW. Which TOT/EVE lads are you gonna have in for that, and have you thought about when to wildcard? GW24 looks likely for me...
Open Controls
Replied on the Kindle above Udit.
Open ControlsYea flynny, I think they are a lot cheaper, the touch was 99 $ on black friday I believe.. so you would recommend call me yesterday? looking for a good book to buy.....
Open ControlsI think it's a bit different, and you can see the real world links and why things would happen that way, but I won't spoil it. Anything I say might colour your judgement or reading of it or into it.
Open ControlsTakes a bit of getting into. it's not wham bam from the start as it sets things up.
Open Controls
I wouldn't sell VDV as he wasn't confirmed out for next GW. However, good move to get Adeb in for Bendy. Good luck š
Open ControlsJafalad!!!!!!! š š How did it go?
Open ControlsHold hard, just saw your reply above. All good. No implant then?
Open ControlsNot that I'm aware of š I was going to put a link to this guy
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HofoK_QQxGc
...but I'm not sure if we have the technology any more šÆOpen ControlsHaha, When I had my two done I had a Wallace Ligament. Which apparently holds things together while letting you move, but not too much. Doesn't work of course and no loss of pain. The surgeon says the procedure was a success though. š š
Open ControlsHow did it take to you make a full recovery? 6 months I've been told! š
Open ControlsI had mine in May, but had had to wait 5 years due to cock ups, and it turns out the nerve damage is likely to be permanent. my spinal movement is fine as I had always been super flexible. Nerve pain looks like it's here to stay. You should be fully recovered in 6 and probably a lot less and the exercises are simple and effective.
Open ControlsSounds like you had a rough spell. Sorry to hear that. My L5 was sticking into my sciatic nerve. Started my breathing exercises and walks.
Open ControlsYep that's the chappies L4/5 and L5S1. Once the nerve starts to repair everything else is basically already to go. It should be real quick for you as long as you don't overdo the early stages. Good luck with it Jafa. I'm off to try and get some kip as the pills are kicking in. Cheers mate see you soon.............Rob
Open Controls
You're going to have people asking who 'barndoor' is all week.
We might have set a new trend hereOpen ControlsThere's probably a few more players who could earn the same nickname. Bendtner, Torres. Heskey would be the ultimate 'barndoor' though!
Open Controls
Really tempted to captain Adebayor instead of RVP next week... He had TEN shots - NINE on target!
Open ControlsI very nearly did that last week. Gutting. I think there are several genuine candidates for (c) this week. I have 5 of them and it's going to be a tough call...
Silva, VDV
Adebayor, Aguero, RVPOpen Controls8 of 10 shots was directly on the goal keeper
Open ControlsCertainly looks a shout against Bolton Scored.
Open Controls
Was in London last week and brought back some chocolate digestive bickies. Very good with a cup of tea I must say
Open ControlsThis is my team
Given
Hughes,Kompany,Assou-Ekotto
Walters,Mata,Drenthe,VDV,Ramsey
Adebayor,RVP(C)
Bench:Schwarzer,Best,Warnock,Naylor
I am currently ranked 695k.Suggestions plz?Open Controlsany bank to work with?
Open Controlsyou need to get rid of given, hughes(bad fixtures), best and warnock. how many ft's? warnock->simpson and hughes-> jagielka
Open Controlsthink the other guys have already said what you need to do. Given to Vorm or Krul(better options for now and frees up a small amt of cash) warnock and hughes out and deal with best later.
Open Controls
You have 5 good midfielders. Get rid of Hughes or Warnock at the earliest.
Open Controls
Well done Sir Kevin Ferguson! Cap'n'ning Barndoor in the L5. šÆ
Open ControlsAnswered your time question above Jafa, sorry slowing down a bit.
Open Controls
Good to see you back Jafalad - hope the op will be a success.
I sold Bendy as well, what a farce that was. Bendy > Ba and Roonpig > Adebayor. Quietly confident of Ba outscoring Piggy for the next 4 weeks and then Piggy back in for Christmas.
I thought Cerny was just back from injury himself and that QPR were after a loan keeper to tide them over? Maybe I dreamt it?Open ControlsCheers Billy!
Bendtner - yep I'm keeping quiet about that one.
Cerny: I think he's third choice/reserve keeper. However, the no 1 and 2 are both crocked long term so he could be a good shout. The most important thing is that he's 4 mill and is a bit of a risk/reward as Vorm will play most of the time anyway. The loan keeper might throw a spanner in the works; we'll have to see.Open ControlsI thought they had been turned down by the league or FA for a loan keeper
Open Controls
Ok a little annoyed as looks like I am going to lose my PP H2H by a point thanks to Swansea CS and Kompany's shoulder I mean header into the goal.. Oh well never mind means I'm not distracted I suppose..
I am fairly happy keeping VDV as am confident he will score good points next weekend.
Therefore with no other major concerns the time has come for Gutierrez to be shifted out..
Currently between O'Hara and Sinclair.. Which one would you do?Open ControlsSinclair, tentatively. If Scarlett plays in a 4-5-1 he seems to do well, better than in a 4-4-2. Could score very highly but there's always a doubt over his position in the side.
Open Controlscheers Billy, not an easy one
Open Controls
I'd surely get O'Hara. A very good player, influential and on set plays - has taken 26 corners so far let alone free kicks. Sinc is overrated, shite all round and only on pens.
Open Controlsthanks Luhg18luhg
Open Controls
While waiting for the bonus I am facing my first red arrow in 6 game weeks. If it ends this way it will probably go down so because I ran out of substitutes and could only play 10 players. No matter the outcome though, this outlines once again the importance of having as few uncertainties in your team as possible (e.g. Jones, Drenthe?).
Open ControlsAnyone fansy A.Young vs his old club this weekend?
Just a thought and a differential....!Open Controls*fancy....damn nightshifts!
Open Controlsmaybe it's time to invest in more comfortable nightwear
Open Controls
He had a good game again on Sat - did well on Tues too- and was unlucky to score. Can be a good shout at this stage of the season imo.
Open Controlsthink i'll give him a go, why not eh?!
Open Controls
Yeah. He's on my radar.
