Man Unitedโ€™s early season attacking form may have dried up dramatically but thereโ€™s no denying the Fantasy potential of Javier Hernandez continues to flourish. Three goals in his last four fixtures means the Mexican is the subject of our latest โ€œTalentโ€ article for Membersโ€ฆ

The champions started the season on fire, bagging 21 goals in their opening five fixtures but since then, they have found the net just 9 times in the following eight games, scoring more than a single goal on just one occasion. Fantasy managers may have abandoned the likes of Wayne Rooney, Nani and Ashley Young in their droves but Hernandez has maintained a steady progress that has seen him the subject of Fantasy attention.

While never really offering the type of explosive returns that merit the captainโ€™s armband, Hernandez is perhaps the most consistent attacking option at Old Trafford. In terms of starts, his most barren run has been two games without a goal- Wayne Rooney, on the other hand, has failed to find the net in his last six starts and hasnโ€™t scored since gameweek five- Hernandez has netted four times since then and has returned double the number of Fantasy points, 42 to Rooneyโ€™s 21.

With a strong run of fixtures for the foreseeable future and form most definitely on his side, we delve into the Opta stats available to Members and analyse our own ICT Index to highlight his recent performances.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Sessegnon and Kompany > Ben Arfa and Baines

It was said to be a travesty when a second string Chelsea side lost to a strong Liverpool side. Manure play NINE international footballers against Crystal Palace and made to look like a pub team, thats humiliation.

Were they? or do we look at lower division teams in a different light when playing top prem teams, even when it's a pretty piss poor team at that. Haven't seen the stats but would reckon MU had more possession, more shots and generally controlled the game more. Granted CP had one player who looked threatening but never really troubled tbh. Maybe I'm looking at it with my MU glasses on, but hats how it seemed to me...

I'd love it if Man Utd played Chelsea this week, both well out of sorts, both desperate for a win. Bet it would be a cracker of a match.

Instead we'll just make Chelsea's season that bit worse, and the mancs will have a bore draw against Villa. Ach well.

        +1

Amazing team work ethic they've achieved there and with Arfa coming back there is a bit more flair now too. Good on them i say, plus around half their team are usually english too which is great to see.

I wouldn't say half. Only three regular starters are Anglais - Simpson and the Taylors. Most are Frenchies ๐Ÿ˜‰

Going well so far, but I really really worry that some big players will leave in January.

Guys can you choose a starting 11 for me this week?

    Vorm Krul
    Enrique BAE RTaylor RIchards Jones
    Nani Silva Bale Walters Ramsey
    Morison Adebayor RVP

0.3 in the bank, 1 FT, I'm looking to find a way to squeeze Hernandez into the squad but unsure how. Need to find an additional 4.9m to swap morison out.
