Too tough to call either way. I'd (just about) rather have the 4points on the board than Lescott to play. And it's a toss up between FatFrank and Studge as to who will score the most points

Not a fan of Walcott either in real life or in FF. He's hot and cold all the time plus very injury prone.

Mata seems a much more stable long-term prospect

Is it free? I'd play Ward at home against Stoke and Norwich on Gw16-17.

Don't you have another urgent transfer to improve the team?

Blackburn and Everton are two teams that yet to keep CS at home.

    Krul Vorm
    Simpson Brown Shawcross Boyata Evans
    Silva VDV Sinclair Sessegnon Dyer
    Rooney RVP Adebayor

    0.1 in bank, 2 FTs

Thinking Sess should be the 1st to go. Don't mind doing a 3 trade hit. Maybe downgrade a striker or even sell Silva.

    Any ideas/advice appreciated.

Sorry for earlier, but a lot of people will say to sell VDV, but I would keep him, Maybe do silva->bale, Sess->O'hara, Dyer-> Yaya perhaps for a 4 point hit,
or just sess-> O'hara, Dyer -> Rodwell, if he's playing.

See previous page on the TOT Holy Trinity scores. Two TOT are essential right now particularly with the dgw approaching. If you did O Hara, that would leave 3 bugeritoes in midpark. Plus, not a big fan of OH either tbh.

I'm thinking VDV should perhaps be the first to go. I'm a fellow owner and am very worried by his role/performance yesterday. He wasnt even a threat and seems to have somehow lost PK and corner duties.

I'd do VDV>Nani as my 1st transfer. Which leaves you needing to free up some money from elsewhere to upgrade Sess to Larsson/Walters.

If you're prepared to lose Silva then you could do Silva>Mata and then Sess>Walters
Or Silva>Bale and Sess>Larsson leaving you witha bit of spending money in the bank maybe to upgrade in DF the following week.

      All seem viable options.

Get in Jafs! Feels good to have two JEs in the team 😉

He wasn't too bad against Wol, but I guess no one was. Jones might continue in midfield, so depending on the twins fitness, JE might still continue by the looks of it....atleast until United concede too many goals (unlikely considering fixtures)

I am guessing he will play 4 of 5 games. Ferdinand is unlikely to play all games till gw20 and i am pretty sure he will pick up an injury soon enough. So that should not leave saf no choice but to play him. Just he ready for your sub to come in at some point of time.
But he should definitely give better returns than sunderland.

Think your team is looking pretty solid for the next GW so it could be the week to get rid of De Leat. Think you have enough cash tied up in DF already so I'd do De Laet to Naylor or Caulker and then bench them.

It doesnt seem a very good call right now but in the long run with the gruelling xmas schedule coming up it would be nice to have subs who are playing, and especially Swans players who are a great bet for a cleanie at home.

What are your thoughts on Drenthe? I keep thinking he'll play one of these GWs 😕

Keep up with information from here. Don't slack. Also, get double gameweek players in advance. Those weeks are crucial to getting ahead of your average joe who captains RVP every week.

I followed my own advice, but got my timing wrong. Fantasy Football is about timing. I'm sure most people on here could tell you who the best point scorers would be before the season started, but it's getting them in when they're hot that's the tough part 😉

I've been around, lurking mostly because of the new format and such. Been playing diligently, but got off to a bad start, and missed the RVP boat... Probably haven't spent as much time as I did last year, but still been monitoring price changes, and keeping up with everything. Frisking the Fixtures is hands down my favorite article from this site every week.

Scout Picks aren't really very useful. You have your team, you can't put forth a new XI every week. Gotta plan ahead, and Frisking is the best article for doing that.

proxy question for mate laid up in the clinic:

everton have best fixtures (in terms of attacking potential) over next 9 GWs (not to mention a DGW in there).

it all starts at home to norwich next week.

    worth it to do:

    santos > kelly
    ramsey > tim cahill

have to go to a 3.9 def if i'm to afford ramsey > cahill, and don't really want to triple up on swan's defense. is kelly a decent shout?

I'm starting to make notes....of what I intended to do at the beginning of a week...and then end up NOT doing...makes for sad reading...

gw 14: Buy bale & ba...end up doing no trades..bale gets 13pts vs Bolton...vdv benched
gw 15: Buy Nani.....end up buying Bale in a Kneejerk(due to gw 14)...Nani 18pts....God I even suggested Nani(c) to someone.

    I know.

No. I happen to know because many GWs ago I went to confirm transfer on Agbon and in the 2 minute or so I'd spent having one last think he'd gone up 0.1 and I was returned to the transfers page with his price updated.

Was pretty miffed at the time 🙁

No, it just doesn't go through, no message, nothing. I got caught like that with Simpson when he went up to 4.1. I thought it was a glitch and just did it again. I was so not happy when I realised I'd missed the rise

It's hard to say as Valencia is only recently back from injury so we can't predict how he fits into Fergies plans yet. He did himself no harm with 3 assists though.

I suspect he might be 1st choice until Ashley Young sorts his act out.

Fergie is a big fan of Valencia though as he tracks back so well and works very hard for the team. Plus he can certainly cross a ball

      Not really.

Hibbert is a cheap in to their DF (which would be great if they were keeping cleanies).
When Drenthe actually starts playing again he could be nice option. But I'd wait until he actually does and then bring him in a week or two before the DGW.

out of 20 i'd give him a 12. I know it's a bit high, but offside goal and the handballs were all very tough to spot at first showing. The red card was spot on as they were 2 bookings. some of the obvious spurs corners that were given as goalkicks were the bad decisions. + i have vdv, ade and walters
