Gameweek 15 eases its way into our weekends via a rather tepid fixture from a Fantasy Football perspective, with assets from both Watford and Everton slipping from the radar of late.

Romelu Lukaku has regressed to fire just a single goal in his last six Gameweeks, restoring his “unreliable” tag and ensuring that he has been evacuated from thousands of Fantasy Premier League squads over the last month.

Equally, we’ve fallen out with Watford’s early risers – the likes of Etienne Capoue, Troy Deeney and Jose Holebas showed such promise but have faded badly in recent Gameweeks.

With expectations kept low, we are likely to consider this first fixture as a Scouting mission, an encounter to be used to weigh up and assess whether the aforementioned players can return to favour.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    I like this 9/2 treble:

    Burnley v Bournemouth
    1X

    Swansea v Sunderland:
    BTTS

    Hull v Palace:
Palace to score 2 or more goals

Haha I had to stop, bet365 reduced my max bet on a lot of Scandinaian football. I've been testing the waters with South American leagues but those leagues are so unpredictable, and a lot of strong favs.

I've done a lot of NFL this year, it's great for betting.

        Always that one comment...

I was just pointing out that imo 3 points for an assist isn't very much for a defender, surely when you know an attacker gets the same amount of points for an assist

No hard feelings in this one, just something that I thought was a bit odd

Well done to all Holebas owners (not me). 6 points in 5 games isn't a bad return for a Watford defender.

It would be good to see defenders attacking points increase in FPL. 3 points for an assist for a defender doesn't seem right. Keepers and defenders are the cheapest in the game but would like to see them have more of an impact fantasy wise.

      Thoughts?

Yeah think you might be right there. Maybe an extra point for assists and goals.

I guess the problem is you get a heavy hitting defender that produces regularly he would be op compared to the forward and mids.

His score today is exactly what he deserves imo. He plays very attacking and sometimes OOP so giving him more because he is classified the same as a more defensive player doesn't seem right.

He assisted two and let in two, played wildly. 7 is charitable for what his job is.

Also, don't kid yourself many of us owners played Holebas for his -2 and all blanks. My average from him is 5.7/GW, for example. Which is pretty nice return from a 4.5 defender.

yeah, a lot of casuals who only change their team on a Friday will miss the midweek deadline anyway so there will be lots of Sanchez and Costa captainers

I'm sure nobody cares much about the MLS final happening today, but:

Who do we think would win between one of those finalists and a team like Sunderland, or even Newcastle?

Where would they fit in an English division?

I have not had Troy Deeney for 2 weeks. So glad. I couldn't take it anymore.

Hoping for a decent start to the GW - Smith, Sanchez, Sigurdsson, Defoe, Iheanacho

I'm American and I can't watch MLS. I think it is really inferior.
