Excess baggage checked in, deckchairs reserved and sun block applied – the Scoutcast team are all ready to hit the beach.

Smack in the middle of Gameweek 37, with points flowing from all angles, not even Hal Robson Kanu’s late goal can upset the pre-vacation mood.

Stringing five men across the midfield, Luke and Az join Jonty, Andy and myself for a bumper end of season episode as we tackle another volley of questions from you, the community.

We conduct a post-mortem on the flurry of chips, weigh up the Gameweek 38 punts, put together our final day Wildcard XI and take a look back on our own personal highs and lows of a topsy-turvy season.

After 128 minutes of that lot and sunstroke already setting in, we even forget to chat captains and transfers come the end, only to make amends later.

    Here is my team, currently 31 points of top 50k and 29 points ahead i.n ML. With TC chip still in play my aim is top 50k. With that in mind what changes would you make need some good differentials.

    current OR 8k. I just want to finish with a 4 digit rank, don't care if it's 1000 or 9999. So what is the mathematically correct move to make with 1 FT, with top 10k % selection taken into account.

      Coutinho in for Eriksen. It's not a move I'd necessarily Make, but it's the safest one as it's the flavour of the week for someone who didn't return or even play last week.

      Honestly I think it's Gabbi to Origi or Llorente.

      Rest of them team is excellent. Eriksen should start gw38, wait for pressers just incase.

    10 points behind ML leader, but have 2FT for final punts. Current squad is:

    My differentials are Monreal, Daniels, Pedro and Anichebe, leader has Kompany, Bailly, Zaha and Gabbiadini but only 1FT.

    Do I pin my hopes on Coutinho? If so, who should make way?

    Many thanks to all brilliant scouts in here.
    Since wc on36 went for 279pts and jumped in my ML for 34 up.
    Already feeling sad for the last day and the hole that will come to my life in a few days.
    At least some cash from ML to skip it fast 😉

    Will Chelsea play full strength side? Argh I got burned on them keeping faith gw37. Got Alonso Haz and Costa. Tempting to remove Haz and change to KDB, Firmino (if fit) or Mahrez. Other option could use FT to go Carroll to Stanislas for bench cover or upgrade Yoshi to Lovern but not keen on that so much.

    Woke up to a GW rank of 5k? Nosebleed territory.

    As we read all the great chase stories here, take a moment to feel for those who played consistently and built up good leads over a whole season - to be wiped out by one GW. Harsh.

      Very harsh. I feel vindicated by protecting my ML lead from way back. A 100pts lead in a ML is nothing in this game unless you protect it.

      The "excitement" baton now passes to those in tight mini leagues...i'm quite jealous...

        I guess it was also easier to 'protect' your lead when the chips didn't exist. Much more difficult and random now.

          Yes it is. All I know is that as long as I have Eriksen and he has Eriksen (all over the pitch) it's much harder for him to catch me up. The nightmare is if he does Eriksen > Alli...all over the pitch.

          Fortunately he was daft and thought he could win with the same players...

        Tbh I'm not jealous. I was in a tight position since for a long few weeks now.

        Glad I cam sit back and enjoy the games on Sunday without worrying about my team or mini league. He needs something massive to win it, in which case it will have been exciting.

        Couldn't be dealing with a tie going into this GW though

      I've been thinking miserably about not having Kane to get him would take -8 with Costa out. I could do it for one hit but not happy with 2nd player.
