Swansea’s fine 3-2 win over Arsenal concludes the weekend action, leaving tomorrow evening’s clash between Wigan and City as the only unfinished business in the Gameweek. Time then, for us to extract the key statistics from our Members area and make a stab at the destination of the Fantasy Premier League bonus points…
Possible WC team..
Hart, Ruddy
Kompany, Jones, Shawcross, Williamson, Gabbidon
Bale, Dempsey, Sess, Walters, Reo-Coker
Rooney, Aguero, Studge
Thoughts?Open ControlsJones gave me so much headache during previous gameweeks..
Open Controlsgabbidon to kelly, jones to brown, hart to krul, ruddy to someone better: maybe vorm, rooney to rvp and maybe upgrade reo-coker
just how I see it. if you plan on going the rest of the season without rvp and keeping rooney even through his tough fixtures, then i'd say just downgrade jones to brown and then gabbidon to senderos/kelly and then you can upgrade ruddy and possibly reo-cokerOpen Controls
Home Walkers as a massive punt for armband gw 22????
Open ControlsI'm taking it!
Open Controls
Everyone should follow my plan of doubling up on Fulham/Newcastle defenders + Evans!
Open ControlsI can see 1 clean sheet for United in the next 6 and I don't like looking at Kelly in my starting 11 this week after conceding 3 to a 10 man Blackburn with no Yakubu..
Open Controlsvery well said!
Open Controls
Wimp! Go triple threat with Krul and Stockdale too! 😛
Open Controls
Man there are not many options to bring in for Ade, when considering the next two weeks. 9.6m to spend.
Zamora? Helguson? Bent? Double up on Liverpool forwards and bring Carroll in? 😀Open ControlsNoted.
Open Controls
Planning Al-Habsi > Mignolet. Should I trade this wk and play Mignolet home against Swansea or make the trade next wk and just play Al-Habsi away to QPR this wk?
Open Controlshey guys, when do the bonus points normally happen?
Open Controlsthis is my first input on AssistGate.
meh.
whatevs. 2 assists in questions, arguments on both sides for both? Give him one. Only way for everyone involved to not lose their minds completely it appears.Open ControlsIf it wasn't for the penalty miss I'd agree with you but if he gets both stripped and lands on 0 with a fair few captains it's pretty damn funny.
But yeah keep the first one lose the second probably seems fair with the evidence presented so far.Open ControlsHave the scouts brought the doubts to the attention of FPL as they did with RVP/Gervinhogate?
Open ControlsOh well then, FPL are going to be taking this damn serious now. 🙂
Open Controls
Yep, Mark posted earlier that 'FPL have said they are going to review it today, and OPTA have only awarded 1 assist for Rooney' which he thought would almost definitely guarantee at least 1 assist would be taken off..
Open ControlsThanks

NO WE CAN'T
im making t-shirts.Open Controls
I don't actually think either are really his. Welbeck does get a slight nick on the ball as far as I'm concerned, and Wheater on the second. And I say that with Rooney(c). If he keeps one I'd be happy.
Open Controlsand those who dont own him will be happier than they are atm. I need to run for office.
Open Controls
Terrible squad for this gw, was planning wc wk24 but tempted to do it now. Not really sure this would help long run as this week is so hard to call.
Krul (Vorm)
Walker Enrique Shotton (Evans Boyata)
Bale Gerrard Drenthe Valencia Dempsey
RVP Sturridge (Ade)
Thinking of running with this, hoping for Walker attacking points and have two free transfers for wk 23 before wc week 24. Good plan or not? TaOpen ControlsAny news on silva playing tonight?
Open ControlsI'm kinda hoping not. Get my dyer bench points. Wouldn't be an issue had I not been an utter c#nt and placed senderos ahead of dyer on the bench.
Open Controls
Does anyone else think RVP will get 2 bp? Opinion might be biased by captain choice =D but my reasoning is this: Being on the losing side might not play so important role, after all, Ramsey got 3 bp vs. Fulham having 3 shots on target (+the assist of course but anyways ahead of Fulham goalscorers). Dyer will get 3 bp but Sinclair & Graham only had 1 shot on target. RVP had 2 shots on target and 1 off target. I would guess shots on target have more positive effect than shots off target have negative. Soon we will see but I'm very confident!
Open ControlsShots off seem to hold more sway than shots on unfortunately
Open ControlsI don't think so. Look at GW20 Bolton vs. Everton. N'gog & Cahill both got 1 goal and shared the 3 bp. Cahill had 2 shots on taget and none off. N'Gog had 3 on target and 3 off. If the shots off target had similar or more negative effect than shots on target have, he would have got less PPI than Cahill and 2 bp. But since they shared the 3 bp,his 3 shots on target must have had more positive effect than his 3 shots off target. Of course there is other stats that effect PPI but shots on/off target is the most important.

Open Controlsmy cup can be won. opponent has one player left that i dont have. if that player were to say, get a red card, I win.
That player is Mario Balotelli.
any other player, i wouldnt even cling to hope. But its Balotelli!!!!Open ControlsIs he not injured?
Open Controlshe's a doubt but not ruled out. there are a couple other weird scenarios where i could win. silva doesnt play at all, i get moses-opponent gets a blank. If Krul gets a BP and Danny Graham doesnt.
oh yeah, im goona lose to a team ranked about 2.6 million in the world and starts danny graham.
🙁Open Controls
Ha...it really isn't that far fetched is it.
Open ControlsTake it a yellow card and a missed peno would also do it? Could also happen.
Open Controlsas they say in poker,
"Ive got more outs!!!"Open Controls

love the vidOpen ControlsRepost...
Pls pick one..
1. Al-Habsi away at QPR
2. Mignolet home to Swansea
3. Vorm away to SunderlandOpen ControlsWhat you guys think of my WC draft? All your suggestions are welcome....Thanks in advance.
Krul/ Sorensen Vorm
Richards Cole Shawcross Evans Simpson
Dyer Silva Valencia Bale Gerrard
Best Sturridge VP.Open ControlsPUNURU! You're here.... 😀
Your team looks delicious. Very well thought out with Dyer/Best rotation - keep an eye on Cabaye's injury cos Shola might be on Penos for 4.7.
I'm assuming you'll downgrade Gerrard to get a Ba upgrade from Best?
How are you O wise one?Open Controls
Welcome to my WC team Raylor. Shakes his head in embarrassment!
Open Controlsreminds me of a gangbang i was in once.
is it really embarrassing if we ALL do it??Open ControlsChina, just want to say thanks for the rotation spreadsheet. I've managed to find my way round it now after some head scratching, and it is proving really handy especially when making decisions on a 4th/5th place mid/def.
Brilliant piece of work, thanksOpen Controls3 more games and then he's a massive rotation risk.... far too late to jump on Raylor if you ask me.
Open Controls
Rooney has been given 1 assist by Opta???
Has anyone checked whether Welbeck has an assist?
My thinking is if they have given the first one to Rooney then there is no consistency with the RVP incident earlier.
BTW the second one isn't either in my opinionOpen ControlsWho knows if Vermaelen and/or Brown will be back this week?
Open Controlsa) Ramsey & Adebayor -> Sessegnon & Sturridge (leaves me 1.4m to do Wilko -> Dawson in GW23)
b) Westwood & Ramsey -> Mignolet & Sessegnon
Both for a 4 point hit and I'm wildcarding in GW24.
Westwood, Ruddy
BAE, JEvans, Simpson, Caulker, Wilko
Nani, Bale, Dempsey, Ramsey, Reo-Coker
RVP, Rooney, Adebayor
Bank 0.2mOpen ControlsI'd say b) Jinswick, at least Mignolet has a good chance of keeping a CS. You'd have to play 5 in mf or 4 in def and bench Ade.
Open ControlsYeah, but hits for a GK and then having to bench a >9m striker and play 4-4-2 just doesn't sound right. Swaying towards a)....
Open ControlsJust looked at it again and you may be right, I didnt take into account it was for a hit sorry. There's only 1 week, GW3, where Ruddy has got minus points so he could get a couple. And Sturridge against Norwich could offset the hit if he starts. He better had as I have him as well. 🙂 Yeah, go for a) imo.
Open Controls
I've just made the biggest fantasy football error ever in my life!!!
I've clicked confirm transfers instead of playing my wildcard it cost me 28 points I am absolutley devastated
Is there anything I can do?Open ControlsMake another transfer and make sure you click Wildcard
Open Controlso praise the lord thank you!!!!!
Open Controls
Thanks gents!!
Open Controls
Transfer again and you shall see the shiny wildcard button looking at you waiting to be pressed!!
Open Controls
A) Rooney > Aguero this GW
B) Rooney > Aguero next GWOpen ControlsTough choice there. But after much contemplation, I'd give it to A.
Open Controls
Not sure why Rooney keeping one assist would be a happy compromise? As a non owner with rivals who Capt him, I want him to lose both just as badly as they want him to keep both! 🙂
Open Controlshopefully he'll lose both!
Open ControlsHopefully you'll find yourself in the same situation with one of your players in the near future.
Open ControlsAngry young man 😉
Open ControlsI already have with RVP, now it's your turn
Open Controlsbad luck for you then. But it's not really a question of luck, if assist is given incorrectly, it has to be removed.
Open Controls
He'll lose the 1st one for sure which means Welbeck will get his first double points score. Watchlist.
Open ControlsReally? I thought the 2nd one was more conclusive.
Open ControlsBoth were pretty conclusive. No assists for Rooney.
Open ControlsThis is what I thought, but then I think 'maybe it's because I don't have Rooney'
But seriously, I think both aren't his assist, though who knows really..Open Controls
Ye, it clearer Wheater who pokes it through.
Open Controls
Rubbish. have you even seen it you northern nasal sounding fool. welbeck dosent get a touch. sick of the apparent influence this site is having on fpl
Open Controls"Northern nasal sounding" Nice complement Granny. Deserves to go into the record books. 😉
Open ControlsWhat influence is that?
ISM already ordered the Rooney assist to be reviewed before we'd even got wind of the situation. They received emails from users on it - just like every other issue. All I do is try to confirm what reviews are taking place and communicate back to our community that situations are being examined to prevent further influx of support emails to them. Helping them and communicating back to you.
And on another, important point, I'm the only one who has any level of communication with ISM/FPL - Granville's views are his own - not the Scouts, or mine. He's totally entitled to his opinion, as are you, but he has no influence on any decisions made by PA/ISM/FPL. They only way they'd know his view is if they came here to read it. The same applies to every contributor - they have their own voice. This is not the voice of FFS.
Finally, personally insulting another user - whether they be a moderator, contributor or not, is not on either.Open ControlsCan I just say, as a non-Rooney owner and not having seen either goal but just going by the various posts over the last 15 hours or so, that different people see what happened differently. About 50-50 really for both goals.
So, surely when it comes down to it, no matter what opinion you have, it's how the Press Association interpret the situation, right or wrong, as they are the ones who decide the outcome. So while it's good to express an opinion, their decision is what counts at the end of the day.Open Controls
Watchlist for sure, if only he had better fixtures to fill in with Ba gone.
Open Controls
BAD K after all.
Open Controls
Got my Krul/Vorm rotation correct this week.......makes a bloody change!! Crap week though really, don't quite know how I managed green arrows all over the shop.......obviously quite a few crap weeks out there........just need Roonpig to lose an assist or 2 and Silva to be rested and get beat tonight and it is a decent week all round........not asking too much is it???!!
Open ControlsWhen is ol' Demba Ba back? Is it GW24 at the earliest, GW26 at the latest?
Open ControlsI can't wait for his return
Open ControlsEveryone thinks he is going to be 'tired' because he has flown to Africa and played a couple of games of football......hmmmmmmmmmmmm.................
Open ControlsDemba Baaaaaaaaaaaaa! What a beaaaaaaast.
Open Controls
'round then yeah, doubt he'll make GW24 though.
Hopefully he returns and looks sharp in GW25 and can come in for GW26 with Wolves and Sunderland at home 🙂Open Controls
