Pep sunk his teeth into our Gameweeks, while an old moggy took a chunk out of my partner’s arm, depriving me of my appearance on this week’s ScoutCast. I’m not sure which was more painful.

At the mercy of the local A&E, Jonty, Andy and Az became my other emergency service as they stepped up on this latest episode.

Inevitably, Guardiola’s Man City teamsheet dominates your questions and the ensuing chatter. Elsewhere the boys re-appraise Kane after his Wembley haul, revisit Liverpool with their fixtures about to swing and consider whether the heavy-hitting midfielders are poised for a renaissance ahead of Gameweek 10.

As far as I know, I’ve edited out all the “pussy” jokes.

    So went crazy this week did my transfers early for a change. -8 hit to get Sanchez and Coutinho in.

    I have Kane and Aguero up top. Kane is out leaves me a doubtful Aguero. I'd rather take hits than have noone playing or am I just better off riding the storm?

    Martin and Mbemba don't play on my bench so i'm pretty screwed. Could do Kane t Lacazette or Jesus?

    Waht you guys think?

    Between Kane, Aguero and Sterling probably not playing, Jones, Abraham and Naughton having poor fixtures, and Mbemba falling out of favor I'm going to struggle to put out a team this week.

    Seriously considering the free-hit chip. I know the ideal use is a blank week, but this is a bit of a 1 week crisis. Pep's presser will decide all...

      Unless you've already made transfers I wouldn't do it. Aguero and Sterling could play and score even with cameos. If Jones plays he's got better prospects with Kane out.

    Was actually confident about captaining Kane despite the fixture, missed all his hauls when I've captained this season grr.

    VC was actually on Gross but not sure about that. Will probably hand the armband to Jesus, maybe Ramsey or Vardy for a differential.

      if you have cash tied up I'd hold. It's hardly a long term injury. If you don't then whether to replace depends on the rest of your team.

      Pochettino is vague when it comes to injuries. Seen it with Rose, Lamela, Davies (last two weeks). He likes to downplay injuries. Kane might be out for a couple of weeks. Many might be looking to sell him.

    Just to clarify for people I have used my free hit and this is what happened:

    I brought in Jesus before I played the chip for Firmino.

    After the chip Firmino reappeared for the next GW.

    So it is like a morning after chip. That is how it works. It'll eliminate your hits and your transfers at the start of the next week.
