Members Paddy Power Cup II – Entry Now Open

As the Paddy Power Cup V nears its conclusion, Fantasy Football Scout are pleased to announce that free entry for the Members Paddy Power Cup II is now open. Members looking to follow in the footsteps of our reigning champ, Kippax Kloggers, can register their entry for the competition by clicking this link (login required).

What is the Members Paddy Power Cup?

The Members Paddy Power Cup is our version of the Fantasy Premier League’s (FPL) Fantasy Cup game. Entrants who qualify for the first round will be randomly drawn against each other and the winner of the tie is whoever has the highest score from that Gameweek, minus points spent on transfers (like in the original game and in head-to-head scores). In the event of a tie, the Manager with highest in the overall standing will progress.

How do I enter?

As with the non-members Paddy Power Cup, entry for the competition is free and simple, just follow this link (login required) and fill out the form as required. A confirmation email will be sent shortly after you’ve submitted your details to acknowledge your entry has been received. Just like the FPL, multiple entries to the Cup are not permitted. Please ensure that you enter your FPL Team Id details correctly, any entries added incorrectly will not be entered into the qualifying round. Newly created FPL teams are not permitted.

When does it start?

All entries received before the Gameweek 24 deadline on February 4 11.30 am will be entered into the qualifying round. The top-scoring 512 managers in Gameweek 24 will progress to the first round proper which will be played in Gameweek 25. Again, FPL standing will decide who progresses in the event of tied positions.

When will I find out if I’ve qualified?

Results from the qualifying round will be published shortly after Gameweek 24 has been completed. The draw for the first round will follow soon after.

Are there prizes?

Sponsors Paddy Power are supplying the competition with some great prizes and we’re supplementing these with Amazon Vouchers. The prizes break down as follows:

Winner – £150 worth of free bets. £50 Amazon Voucher
Runner-up – £75 worth of free bets. £30 Amazon Voucher
3rd Place – £50 worth of free bets. £20 Amazon Voucher

A Paddy Power account is not required for entry but entrants will need a Paddy Power account and be aged 18 and over to be eligible for some of the above prizes. Prizes are also subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions.

If you’ve yet to register a Paddy Power account, then you can sign up via this site and get a free £20 when you register and bet £10.

anyone know if either of them will be any good going forward or who is more nailed on? Want one of them due to tasty fixtures. Currently going with Taiwo. Scout report had good things to say about him.

  Most of us on here are going with Taiwo as we've got all hot an bothered about him and his attacking potential (especially fks) but Onuoha is the guy with PL experience. But he's likely to play cb which means his threat may be limited to corners, Taiwo as a fb has more assist potential.

  As Mull has pointed out Aguero is on pens for the next 3 games, he's also better than Dzeko. The reason to get a City attacker for the next few weeks is those tasty home fixtures. Aguero is the better home performer especially against the lesser teams. It has to be Aguero

  Christ no. Have you seen Newcastle's squad. Ferguson will be lucky to even make the bench and that's with monstrous amounts of injuries which, lets face it, is very unlikely to happen. Can't believe some active managers still have him. Mental imo.

Howdy! I need some secondary input on what would be the best way to get Ba back in my squad. Current team is:

Vorm - Lindegaard

Cahill - Evans - Enrique - Caulker - Santon

Valencia - Bale - Dempsey - Sess - Silva

RVP - Aguero - Fletcher

I have 1 FT this week and at first glance looks like my best options would be to downgrade Aguero to maybe Dzeko? Leaving me with some money to play with. I'm fairly content with my MF atm and would lose a lot of money on RVP but none on Aguero. Perhaps downgrade Enrique? But I feel that'll leave my back line even thinner than it already is! Any advice is welcome 🙂

  If you have that front 8 but with Ba instead of Fletcher who do you bench each week? It's a big problem every week and not one I like having. Downgrade Sess to McClean to get Ba.

Anyone who's Wild Carding for 24 leaving out Dempsey (City away) ?? - taking a punt on a player for one GW only then out for CD straight away. Potential players: Ramsey/Arteta vs BLA, Walters vs SUN, City MF (Milner/AJ,etc) vs FUL, Ben Arfa/Cabaye vs AST, Ramires vs UTD.       Well it comes down to if your happy to have your trade for next week already locked in and decided. Is fine if thats the way you want to go but if you run into a couple of injuries this week then you may be in trouble. I myself used my transfer after i wildcarded and i really shouldnt have needed to.
