As the Paddy Power Cup V nears its conclusion, Fantasy Football Scout are pleased to announce that free entry for the Members Paddy Power Cup II is now open. Members looking to follow in the footsteps of our reigning champ, Kippax Kloggers, can register their entry for the competition by clicking this link (login required).

What is the Members Paddy Power Cup?

The Members Paddy Power Cup is our version of the Fantasy Premier League’s (FPL) Fantasy Cup game. Entrants who qualify for the first round will be randomly drawn against each other and the winner of the tie is whoever has the highest score from that Gameweek, minus points spent on transfers (like in the original game and in head-to-head scores). In the event of a tie, the Manager with highest in the overall standing will progress.

How do I enter?

As with the non-members Paddy Power Cup, entry for the competition is free and simple, just follow this link (login required) and fill out the form as required. A confirmation email will be sent shortly after you’ve submitted your details to acknowledge your entry has been received. Just like the FPL, multiple entries to the Cup are not permitted. Please ensure that you enter your FPL Team Id details correctly, any entries added incorrectly will not be entered into the qualifying round. Newly created FPL teams are not permitted.

When does it start?

All entries received before the Gameweek 24 deadline on February 4 11.30 am will be entered into the qualifying round. The top-scoring 512 managers in Gameweek 24 will progress to the first round proper which will be played in Gameweek 25. Again, FPL standing will decide who progresses in the event of tied positions.

When will I find out if I’ve qualified?

Results from the qualifying round will be published shortly after Gameweek 24 has been completed. The draw for the first round will follow soon after.

Are there prizes?

Sponsors Paddy Power are supplying the competition with some great prizes and we’re supplementing these with Amazon Vouchers. The prizes break down as follows:

  • Winner – £150 worth of free bets. £50 Amazon Voucher
  • Runner-up – £75 worth of free bets. £30 Amazon Voucher
  • 3rd Place – £50 worth of free bets. £20 Amazon Voucher

A Paddy Power account is not required for entry but entrants will need a Paddy Power account and be aged 18 and over to be eligible for some of the above prizes. Prizes are also subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions.

If you’ve yet to register a Paddy Power account, then you can sign up via this site and get a free £20 when you register and bet £10.

            I think that's too big a gamble to take, a better choice I reckon would be to save a transfer and get Dempsey in for Gerrard for the other freebie.

    I see Donovan had 2 assists in everton 2-1 over fulham, moyes should break the bank for this kinda talent, he creates goals and is just a nice player all round. Btw all ye capt America buccaneers - he was fairl anon, away games you see just don't suit dempsey and fulham .

      Well you can disregard Mata straight away. Mata is terrible away from home and Swans are solid at home.
      Liverpool are pants atm so Gerrard mayb not so much altho would be the best differential there.

      thinkin kelly.. baird wants to leave the club(accordin to daily mail!!) and grygera out for season.. so should start(unless hughes shifts right back).. hughes is a sound defender and imo will replace senderos.. best thing to do is wait till the early lineups come out.. you'll know which of senderos/kelly startin

        Not confident on Shotton at all... seeing the whole Stoke team is fit again, but apparently Pennant is on Pulis blacklist and thus Shotton should get some gametime 😛

        I could go Taiwo over Shotton, he would fit the rotation just as well... ?

            30k atm, team's been on hibernation the last month because of vacation... considering that I'm doing alright. I missed the DGW for example and had RVP as captain from the week before 😛 Was probably the only one saving a transfer during DGW 😀 Dyer kept coming off the bench for me so I got lucky heh 🙂
