Gameweek 21 is upon us with six afternoon kick-offs getting things underway.

Fantasy managers will be fixated on Stamford Bridge and Anfield in particular, with Liverpool and Chelsea backed for big victories and points aplenty.

Mohamed Salah is the most-captained player for the Gameweek and starts against Leicester City having produced a goal or an assist in 11 of his previous 12 Gameweeks.

He sits alongside Roberto Firmino in a Liverpool front three, with the Brazilian having produced three successive double-figure returns. Meanwhile, Philippe Coutinho also starts in a powerful Liverpool line-up. He’s supplied four goals and five assists from his last five Gameweek starts.

But Leicester could provide a stubborn barrier at Anfield, which is perhaps not the case at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea’s opponents Stoke apparently conceding the match from kick-off.

Cursed by injuries at the back and with Kurt Zouma ineligible to face his parent club, Mark Hughes makes the decision to keep key players in reserve.

Antonio Conte has also made changes, resting his own star man – Eden Hazard. The Blues boss brings in Pedro and Willian to flank Alvaro Morata, while Andreas Christensen returns from illness but only makes the bench.

Elsewhere, Richarlison will bid to revive his Fantasy stock after failing to find the net in eight Gameweeks. He faces bottom club Swansea City at Vicarage Road with just three assists to his name over that dry spell.

Clean sheets will be the order of the day across the remaining matches, with Everton, Burnley and Brighton all popular sources of budget defensive signings.

However, with squads stretched, there will doubtless some managers relying on points from Huddersfield strikers Laurent Depoitre and Colin Quaner when they take on the Clarets.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Lossl just got his 3rd clean sheet in 15 games; it's not been a good time.

Which one would you get rid for a Spurs mid:

    A) Hazard
    B) Coutinho

Currently on B, also have Firm & Salah. Chelsea fixtures still look great and Haz will come good

    1. The Wizard of Ozil
      • 10 Years

B as you can probably cover his points with salah and firm.

cover his points..? if he gets points he gets points. he's currently getting more points for less money than hazard. what kind of crap logic are you using.

I think people are overlooking Eriksen for dgw. Still a top FPL player, on set pieces and maybe some extra if Jane doesn’t play. I am thinking of bringing him in for Hazard.

    How does this sound:

    Morata + Richarlison + RLC -> Quaner + Eriksen + Arnautovic (-4)

Also banks enough cash to get Alonso in later.

At least Hazard didn't let me down this wk. Stayed on the bench for 1st sub Niasse 4 pts.

56 including auto-sub, baps with Sterling, DDG to go. Three correct capt picks has done wonders. Most important element of the game I suppose .

    DDG / Elliot
    Alonso / Otamendi / Mee / Ogbonna / Hunimeier
    Salah / Sterling / Richarlison / Lingard / Gross
    Kane / Morata / DCL

    A) Richarlison, Lingard → Arnautovic, Son (-4)
    B) Richarlison, Gross, DCL → Arnautovic, Son, Quaner (-8)
    C) Richarlison, Gross, Morata → Arnautovic, Son, Firmino (-8)

The initial plan was for Lingard to be a 1-week punt. Now I'm not sure; might want to keep. Only problem with B & C is that the striker swap won't really play off. Firmino's next two fixtures are difficult (could be rested vs. Burnley?); Quaner likely to go on my bench. However, it's the only way I get to keep Lingard.

    Evening.

How should I approach the next gameweek then?

Good news is that I’ve got 2 FTs and 4.1 in the bank.

Bad news is I’m not sure what else to do other than get Kane in.

    Here’s the team:

    DDG Speroni
    Azpi Christ Schindler Kenny Ogbonna
    Salah Cout Sterling Richa RLC
    Morata Firm DCL

    A) Morata/DCL/Cout > Kane/Rooney/Son (-4)
    B) Morata/Cout/Richa > Kane/Son/Alli (-4)
    C) Just Morata > Kane and roll over the other FT
    D) something else, what?

    Thanks!
