The EA Sports Player Performance Index has been calculated which means that the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game have now allocated their bonus points accordingly. Here’s the match-by-match breakdown of how they are shared out..

    Last night I brought in McClean for Sess, realized Siggy has better fixtures immediately after making the transfer. Reckon I'll be punished?

      hmmm...maybe Yes but mainly because McClean is being over-hyped despite being bloody brilliant. He won't be a high scorer consistently because its too much to ask of a lad that young. Plus Campbell is going to come in and grab all the glory now. A lot of people talking about downgrading to McClean, I feel it's a little bit premature to think of Sess and McClean as equals fantasy football wise

          He looked lively to me and could of easily had 1 or 2 in open play on top of the 2 pen's. Yesterday I had decided to let Rooney go for RVP, now I'm not so sure.

              I had him between GW 4 and 7 and GW 15 and 20 with a rank of 58,830. I like to bring the players in to hit form then get them out when the ownership is too high, leaves a great opportunity to move ahead which is why I had Rooney instead, could of worked but it didn't.

    What are the best options for a 6.6M striker?

    Considering Pavel Pogrebyak (STO, qpr, WOL, avl, SWA) and has proven to be an excellent scorer of goals in the past.

    60 goals in 144 apps (48 as sub)
    30 goals in 44(14 as sub) for Zenit (07-09)

    With Zamora gone, will he be a certain starter for Fulham?

      Portsmouth Bubblejet came on here soon after he was signed and warned extensively that he was not worth investment. Now I know it is all speculative at the moment as we don't know how he will take to the Premier League...but I would advise waiting!

        I wanted to play McClean ahead like I did in previous GW but some told me it's a ridiculous decision so I went for Sess and lost 5 points.
        Now I wont be able to score a Century.

    OK time to get rid of Sturridge and Walters for 2 FT this week I think.

    Strurridge for Ba seems an obvious choice which leaves me with 5.7 for a Mid. Tempted with both McClean and Sigurdsson but already have Sessegnon and Sinclair and not sure I want to double up on those teams?

    Thoughts?

      from everything i've read, seems likely that it will be over-turned. both feet on floor, conditions played a part etc. Thanks on help with Aguero by the way IT - glad i decided to make room for him in the end.

        Not a problem CC. Although Edin "Tap-In" Dzeko did get a goal and rob him of the maximum BP, Aguero should continue to outscore him imo.

        Yep Mig on the bench, had Krul on the bench for his cleanie and penalty save last week. *Sigh*

        Hoping Huth gets it overturned. He was a bit of a negative differential for me this week. I am really crap at defences, all my ML rivals are boring and still have Enrique and BAE while I have opted to get rid.

        It was simply an awful decision. His momentum in the snow didn't help but you could see he clearly pulled out of the tackle and Meyler was in no way hurt by it.

        It wasn't wreckless. Rather than punished he should be applauded for pulling out of what could have been a dangerous challenge.

    Walters was def a WC fail. Felt uneasy getting him and now im struggling to be patient enough to hold on.

    Just wanted to say a big three point bonus point raspberry to the small band of ill informed people who slagged Dzeko off at the weekend for his "typical jammy goal" and saying "he's so lazy" .

        Applebonkers, our bonus guru, has long promoted the idea that penalties are worth less PPI than regular goals. Dzeko and Mata claiming bonus points over Aguero and Rooney strengthens this idea.

      Bonus points can still be awarded inaccurately. I would still say he is a bit of a lump and the 3 bps were definitely "jammy" for him this week. Nice bonus if you have him but he is still far from a top striker.

        12 goals, 5 assists, 17 bonus pts, plus 66 goals in 111 appearances for Wolfsberg. Having an opinion is great, but at least back it up with facts. 😉

        The bonus were awarded because of his all round play, clearances and being in the right place at the right time...the bread and butter of a good striker. They are not handed out for jammyness...that was last season.

        There comes a point when you have to admit for his price his returns are excellent.

          I could have Wiki'd the Dzeko stats aswell and presented you with his previous goal record. I already know what he did at Wolfsburg that's why City signed him. But you don't judge a player based on what they have done in the past, it's what they are doing now that matter.

          Agreed he has had some good GW but of the 12 goals you refer to 4 came in one match against an out of sorts Spurs team. Granted they all count but his goal record is not that impressive imo. Add to that he is playing in one of, if not the strongest team in the league so he is going to be given plenty opportunities to score and I think he is wasteful with alot of chances.For £8m in the world of FF he represents value for the next few home games but that doesn't make him a great striker. He looks out of sorts in alot of games and I personally don't rate him.

    Hah Demba Ba rose in price last night too, taking him to three consecutive rises since I bought him on Friday. Lovely!

    Just read an interview where Pardew confirmed out suspicions that Cissé liked more to run in behind defences and Ba liked to drop down a little bit more. There could be loads to gain by getting the right one of those two! I'm still in #teamBa of course, it feels safer.

      I'm thinking Cisse will definitely soak some of Ba's points. He was the sole focus and now he's not so it's bound to have a negative impact. This could however be turned over by improved overall results but Ba will be pressed to show the returns he did when Newcastle were winning a lot and he was the main reason.

      I should have really gotten him for this gw but held off on the transfer! MY one regret of the gw! Did Mata -> Walcott for a 1 week punt too so not sure what to make of it!

      Will probably do Walcott -> Dempsey this week now and then Roddalega to Cisse the week after! He is a great striker and should score plenty of goals!

      How is he underrated FF player when he has 61 pts and costs 6.8M£ ? No one would have him in their team and there is a reason, not underrated at all. Even Moses is better.

    I really think the Premier league is amazing to watch at the moment! Love how there is no longer a "top 4" dominance and we have 7 teams all fighting for top 4 positions! No forgone conclusions! 🙂

      It is quite interesting with Spurs up there now and Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool dropping points regularly. Newcastle and Sunerland also waiting in the wings!

      Still think its between City and United for the title though...

    Evans and Valencia my only real disappointments this week. I brought Valencia in for McClean too so that sucked, hoping I haven't missed the boat on him. Will give him another couple weeks see how he does.
