It hasn’t taken long for Swansea’s Gylfi Sigurdsson to make his mark in the Premier League. Handed the role of chief creator by Brendan Rodgers, the loan signing from Hoffenheim has already produced a series of strong performances and, with 3 assists and a goal in just four appearances, is starting to catch the eye of Fantasy managers.

Climbing off the bench on his debut, Sigurdsson set up Danny Graham to notch the winner in a five-goal thriller against Arsenal. Despite a blank in the following game away to Sunderland, the Icelandic international provided the assist in the 1-1 draw with Chelsea, before a sublime display –in his first full appearance for the Swans- saw him return a goal and assist in last week’s 2-1 win at West Brom.

Averaging 6.25 points per game in Fantasy Premier League (FPL), and priced at a mere 5.0, we analyse his displays so far, using the Opta stats available to members, in addition to our very own ICT Index…

The transfer I'm likely to do this week is Moses out and Sigurdsson in. Bringing Siggy in would be pointless though unless I benched one of this 7:

    Sessegnon - Valencia - Bale - Silva

    Aguero - Ba - RVP

So, can I take the risk to bench one of these 7 or should I go ahead with the transfer and have Sigurdsson in my starting 11?

Your help would be massiveley appreciated 🙂

Can anyone here give a good argument on a captain other than RVP this week?

MON doesn't like to rotate, sess possibly, sunderland regulars will be tired from overtime in midweek cup match

RVP coming off the back of his best week yet, it writes itself...

Unless someone has a better option??

regardless, Arsenal will have had a lot more rest, sess picked up a knock and he is the focal point of their attack, rvp confidence ever increasing after another hat trick and pair of assists. so far not convinced on anyone other than Robin

Just remeber game against bolton last week, Arsenal should've scored at least 3 goals, but they didn't. They almost lost the game in the second half. Arsenal are terrible in away games, Sunderland are tight at home since MON took over. I am not saing it's imposiblle for Arsenal to win by a large margin but i doubt it'll happen.

Funnily enough I checked the odds on Bet365 earlier and have now switched the armband from Dempsey to RVP. He is the only one they have as odds on for any time goalscorer.

The full odds I looked at are:
      RVP = 10/11, Aguero = evens, Bale = 11/10, Dzeko = 5/4, Dempsey = 11/8, Ba = 21/10, Sess = 12/5.

I'm going to take a punt and have Dzeko as VC, although he shouldnt need to be used.

Bayern Munich have signed Switzerland forward Xherdan Shaqiri, 20, from FC Basel on a four-year contract commencing this summer.

"Xherdan will strengthen our team from next season with his football intelligence and dribbling", said Bayern coach Jupp Heynckes.

IT we basically have the same side!

Thinking of ditching Sess as would only want to play him against wba in next 4, Siggy Moses do have great rotation but starting to lose confidence in my pal Victor, Sess > Taarabt another option but a big punt. It would enable me to do Shawcross > Evra/Skrtel in prep for GW28, what are your plans moving forward if you don't mind?

Jelavic out, Ba in. Cisse if you want to try something else, but Ba is the more logical transfer, but costs 0.7 more.

Larsson hasn't done much in recent weeks. Maybe go for McClean and you will have plenty of money to upgrade elsewhere

Lindegaard to Hennessey for me, and maybe McAuley to Evans J. The player I crave is, however, Rooney.

My Front 8 is pretty standard
    Vorm/Linde
    Richards-Kompany-senderos-simpson-evans
    sess-valencia-AOX-Bale-Dempsey
    RVP-BA-Keane

1 FT and 4.8 mill burning a hole

Thinking Sess > Siggy and Keane to Aguero

Do them both this week for 4 point hit or just to sess> siggy and upgrade Aguero next week.

Hard to know if Aguero can produce good points away

Would love to hear peoples thoughts?

Thats the same move im looking at free ups 3 million, which gives me loads of options, potentialy Rooney to Aguero being one if them. Not sure about getting rid of Tony V. My other option is McClean out, which again isnt ideal with his current form. Its a gamble that coukd pay iff though, dont think McClean or Valencia will do much this week, could be wrong. Next week Calencia has Norwich which looks promising.

It's from gw28 on I'm really looking at...do I want Evans, Valencia and maybe one other Utd? Or Evans, Rooney & one other. Coupled with Sig looking excellent, I actually ain't got a 'kin clue what I'll do. Yet.
