There's a slim chance that will actually be your bench at the end of the week, but if you'll excuse my pedantry, it's a bit iffy and will probably be just about OK, though very much not ideal

Well Pavard is too good to be true. He's not nailed. But apparently Varela is. Pavard could be worth the risk for 2 games, and I'd definitely get him if WCing after one round. But Varela is a decent replacement and for a decent side with decent fixtures, so he ticks all the boxes I guess.

I’m Portuguese and a betting man. I’ve got no Portuguese in my squad.

      CR7 too expensive.
      Defense is shaky at best.
Bernardo is a good option, but pricy.
Guedes is in superb form, but I preferes the 9.0ish attackers available.
Guerreiro would be a good option, but not playing great so far...

Does anyone know what this team news is based on?

The Uruguayan team looks way off.

It's not team news. The disclaimer is right there at the top:

"After weeks of research, we’ve predicted the starting line-up for every team’s opening fixture at this summer’s World Cup.

We’ve put these together using information gathered from qualifying matches, international friendlies and team news information from managers.

Some of them are more set in stone than others and ultimately they are predictions based on the interpretation of the data by our team of writers.

Hopefully it will help World Cup Fantasy managers pick their teams."

          Caceres should be starting, right?

Way off what? What you think it should be? Okay.

"...ultimately they are predictions based on the interpretation of the data by our team of writers."

Way off what the team will actually be? Okay Mystic Meg. Stop peppering the comment section with sensationalism and scandal.

Hey guys, I've signed up to a work WC score prediction game. Can someone share a link with a template of predicted scores?

it would help so that I don't have to trawl through betting websites. Thanks

He is. They have him down as Johan Palacio. His full name is Johan Andrés Mojica Palacio, so it's needlessly confusing.
