    Which scenario has greater odds?

    A. Your Saudi/Russian Day 1 captain outscores all of your Day 2/3/4/5 captaincy options 😎

    B. Your Saudi/Russian Day 1 captain see's Red, and locks you out of captaining your big guns Day2/3/4/5 😮

The risk of B is very low, but a chance of A is even lower I think. Thats why I swiched captaincy from Aldawsary to Cavani today – better not take that risk. Even if he scores one I’d definately change captain later.

yeah i had noticed that. I prefer to pick teams big guns and lewandowksi was involved in 60% of polands goals in qualifiers - cavani is competing with suarez which will diminish his output imo

Dani Alves (who played most of qualis) is not in the squad. Danilo deputised almost every time Alves didn't play, and started the last few friendlies.

If a player scores 2 pts and you have a player on your bench who you want to sub on. When is the cut off point? Do you have to do it before the benched player plays or can you bring him on during the game?

Are you allowed to sub off a player who wasn't part of your original starting 11? e.g. if I sub Lukaku on for someone on day 5, and he blanks, will I be able to sub him off for J.Rod on day 6?

Really toying with the 12.0 options.

This lineup is very, very tempting.

    El Kajoui
    Meunier Danilo Varela Pavard Dalsgaard
    JRod Ziyech Ljajic Meza Inui
    Neymar Messi Lukaku

Can go one or both 12.0s and it all looks pretty good. Cavani + Eriksen or Messi + Ljajic?

            From the OP
"Not easy to get a good format on here! I've sorted from best to worst in two scenarios.

If you want to view it better, copy and paste into Excel. After you've done that, click 'Data', then 'Text to Columns', and add the '|' symbol (that's not a capital i - it's the 'shift + \' key) and you'll be able to view it better, sort how you want.

    Muslera
    Trippier Meunier Miranda
    Ziyech Eriksen Rodriguez Al-Faraj
    Griezmann Jesus Lukaku
    El Kajoui Nandez Mojica Pavard

    Would you rather:
    A) Captain Ziyech and leave out Uruguayan attack
    B) Captain Cavani and lose one of Griezmann/Jesus
