Will probably change my mind before tomorrow but I just wanted a team with Neymar. How's it look?

    El Kajoui, Uzoho
    Meunier, Danilo, Pavard, Varela, Dalsgaard
    Eriksen, James, Ziyech, Meza, Inui
    Neymar, Lukaku, Cavani

    C rotation: Cavani-->Eriksen-->Neymar-->Lukaku-->James

I do think we've pretty much cracked it. The key value spots in this pricing system are:

Great 4.5m def options. I mean we cover Uruguay, France and Denmark. That's huge.
Talismanic mids - James, Eriksen, Ziyech
Cram as much as we can to save on the forwards prioritizing Lukaku.

Not for the first two weeks. Akanji is awful against Brazil. But after yeah maybe.

I agree. I had Coutinho & Mbappe before but Ziyech & Neymar looks so much better, the problem is the 1m difference which resulted in Meza, but I can live with that 🙂

    Muslera -

    Willian - Eriksen - JRod
    Mbappe - Lukaku - Werner

    Uzoho - Sabaly - Inui - Sanchez

All the bench fodder (apart from the keeper) play on the last day

    Any good?

Safety blanket I guess. Also an easy, arbitrary way to say someone is better when you can't decide between two (not saying that's the correct way though)

True, but Coutinho plays just as deep, if not deeper, than Muller. Having Werner just increases his assist potential, no?

Potentially yeah. I think if you're going to get a German get Werner (maybe Reus as a punt), otherwise there's better value in Brazil

Weak midfield, too much money tied in front 3. Germany leaks goals, why would you want to double up on their expensive defense?
Awful bench, can't see any points there if they get any minutes at all (Grujic won't).

Which players are triggering your flop tingly senses?

Mine right now is on Cavani. He's so popular but he splits a lot of the focus with Suarez, and Uruguay don't exactly provide great service to the forwards.

Add in the fact that his record in major tournaments is pretty poor (only a single goal from 2014 WC, 2015 Copa, 2016 Copa). I dunno. Lewandowski is looking so good by comparison or even Griezmann with a far superior major tourney record.

Maybe and if he flops, gonna instantly sell him and buy Lewandowski but I wanna see him play first

Cavani plays Saudi Arabia and Lewandowski is against Colombia after R1.

Yeah I know what you mean, but there's that fear of hiding behind the couch in R2 when they play KSA

        Oh yeah forgot about him.

Defo on my potential flop list.

Best GK for 5M? Scmeichel or Fabianski maybe?

I like Schmeichel. Should be good for save points. I didn’t think Fab was a starter

Right, I'm not risking Pavard! Sidibe is still training so may play a part in the second game, or even the first one. Dalsgaard comes in for me.

    Pickford, Munir
    Kimmich, Danilo, Godin, Meunier, Dalsgaard
    J.Rod, Carrasco, Cueva, Ljajic, Belhanda
    Cavani, Lukaku, Jesus

    (Bench Boost in Week 1)

    A) El Hadary Dalsgaard Neymar
    B) Muslera Kimmich Jesus

Been on B forever but I’m thinking about A last minute...

    danilo / meunier / varela
    coutinho / muller / cueva / 7.5m
    lukaku / lewan / jesus

    Thoughts?
Also who should I grab as a 7.5m mid?
