Scarred by the resting of City duo Sergio Aguero and David Silva, Gameweek 27 will go down as one of the key periods in the Fantasy season as vice captains kicked in to gift or rob Fantasy managers of spoils. Sunday’s events didn’t fail to add their own twists with red cards, missed penalties and the return to form of Clint Demspey alongside the extraordinary contribution of Pavel Pogrebnyak.

Our members can now pick through all the statistics from the Gameweek and, as always, we’ve picked out some eye-catching numbers to digest. Of course, we’ve also included our prediction of where the Fantasy Premier League bonus will go…

                We've come so far, certainly with shrewd spending and offloading we could be a strong side, considering the decline of clubs like everton and villa. A few wins would make life much easier.

                  Goosebumps remembering our start. Every weekend you looked at the fixture list and said, win. Not one game scared us last season.

                    A breath of fresh air, for any team to win a championship is a massive achievement, I lived every moment of it. The heros who got us there like derry and hill should never be critised by our supporters in the pl, its not their fault, and they still give everything for the cause. have you seen new film? If so is it decent?

    Will probably do Aguero > Rooney and one of the above to Enrique or Skrtel......but who?

    Do I do:

      Kelly to Enrique makes the most sense to me. I don't think Skrtel is worth the extra dough, no nead to double up on Fulham and Richards should start playing again and be a nice differential for you.

    Is anyone thinking none are the Man U wingers have a secure position? When Valencia returns who will make way? Nani and/or Young will have to be rotated. I'm not sure who i would transfer on my team either. I want to keep Bale, Silva and Dempsey. I think Rooney may have to be enough utd offensive cover.

        Kenny has played the wrong team the whole season.
        Maxi Adam Henderson Bellamy should be the mid, Downing is just not Liverpool material and Maxi is underrated.

          Neither Adam nor Henderson are cut out for a defensive role though, we always look more open at the back without a DM

          Maxi is underrated, he can be very good, but that's not to say he hasn't put in an awful lot of poor games in a Liverpool shirt. Though not since Kenny has come in - under Benitez and Hodgson he was poor, but the free flowing football at the end of last season was great!

    Reina until the end of the season seriously tempting me.

    Can't bare losing all this money on Valencia so I might just get Sigurdsson in, I'll want him in two weeks anyway. Krul --> Reina + one other transfer for a 4 pointer. Really wish I had clarity on Richards, Bale, Valencia etc. Remember around wildcard time when there were so many good options out there? Yeah, not so much any more.

    United have great fixtures but I can't decide who I want. This is too much stress for a Sunday night.

    Team at the moment is:

    Vorm, Krul
    Richards, Raylor, Taiwo, Shotton, Kelly
    Silva, Bale, Dempsey, Mata, McClean
    RVP, Ba, Aguero

    I’m thinking Aguero, Mata, Raylor and Taiwo out for Rooney, Ryo, Skrtel and Enrique.8 point hit
    The following week I’ll be doing Richards to Evans which gives me enough money to bring Valencia in anytime from GW30 if Ryo flops.

    Thoughts on this?

        Disagree about Kelly being a dodgy choice considering his price and that he will sit on the bench most weeks. Only missed out today through injury (could have done with him today mind)

        I know the 8 points is a lot but I have other transfers in mind over the next two weeks and other issues are bound to crop up. The way I see it if I don't take the hit this week I'll end up taking one next week or the week after. With the DGW and change in fixtures I think now is the best time to do it even though I doubt it will be repaid in one week.

      Save the Aguero to Rooney part for next week when there is more of a differential between the two matchups. The difference between their matchups for GW 28 isn't worth four points of hit in my opinion. Moving Raylor and Taiwo out for double Pool defense is fine. I'd like to see some actual production from Ryo before buying anybody from Bolton, but if you have to move Mata to fund the defense moves, then that's OK. Can't see your prices because your team isn't linked. Hope it helps.

        Thanks. Yes I wouldn't mind keeping Mata for the next one but I need the money. If Valencia was fit I'd be getting him instead and changing the defensive transfers slightly. Agree about Rooney probably not being worth the hit but with other transfers in mind I think its best to take the hit now rather than later.
