It’s not been the greatest of gameweeks so far, has it? With a couple of clashes still to go, many of us will be keeping a keen eye on tomorrow night’s events at the Emirates, with the hopes of many a Fantasy manager pinned firmly on the shoulders of Robin Van Persie.

For now, though, our members can now pick through all the statistics from the Gameweek and, once again, we’ve picked out some eye-catching numbers to digest. As usual, we’ve also included our prediction of where the Fantasy Premier League bonus will go…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      Very good question and one I asked myself couple of weeks back. I reckon it's time to punt around a bit. I would add Bale to that but for his DGW sometime in the near future.

      I reckon RVP & Rooney might be the only must haves over the next few weeks. Plus perhaps a Utd & City defender.

      Aguero already gone for me and happy to see the back of him. Rotation killing City striker returns.

        + 1. City def so ( maybe yaya). Rooney/jevan + degea or young although saf loves Valencia , IMO nani has dropped down in saf thoughts. Utd to edge league over city now IMO.

          I've added Yaya for cheaper city cover and will bring in Jevans, Rooney and Valencia (who will rotate with my fifth midfielder) from Utd.

          See Utd turning the screw now and City choking as Mankini bottles the attacking style.

          Shit, as per usual this season. Gambled big time. 32 so far, took a 16 pointer. Treble 'pool at the back with Skrtel captain too. That S'land goal was a right kick in the balls.

              Jeez, he's doing well having not have RVP all season long! I can see a serious return from RVP tonight though, Newcastle's defence has been a bit pants of late. I think your differentials are better than his, good chance to reel him in I'd say.

                Yeah, I made up 30pts last week alone with Demps(c). Thing is Dempsey is a home boy and does sweet FA away from home. He has Walcott which irritates the shite out of me. He had that monster week two gw's ago just when I thought I was doing well.

                It's a matter of gaining a couple of points and then sliding down again the next week. I'm just hoping SAF plays only one of Young/TV.

      I believe Pilkington is in line to start the next game.

      I know it's difficult to 2nd guess Lambert, but I think there is some correlation between the team that finishes the previous game and the team that starts the next. Then we reckon he takes number of minutes into account.

      I have a feeling both Morison and Pilks will start the next game away to Newcastle.

          For me, it's RVP, Rooney and either Ade or Balo from here on in. I just think that Ade and Balo are too strong to ignore for that third striker spot over Pog.

    Is there a chance Lindegaard will start the odd game when fit? Perhaps De Gea might get used for the increasingly tougher Europa games, whereas United have fairly easy league fixtures. Lindegaards experience may also be useful for the run in. What do people think?

      SAF will try to put his best keeper in front of goal almost all the games, imo. DDG has been very very instrumental in saving United's face in the last few games.

      Also, United could be out of Europa this midweek 😉

      It really does depend on how far we get in the Europa. If games start to clash a bit more I think Lindegaard may feature in the odd premier league game. If you have a decent cheap keeper like Bogdan to cover though then I think De Gea is a great way to double up on the United defence.

      Looking at doing the same depending on Liverpools form over the next 3 weeks.

      Don't think so degea has improved 10 fold IMO and is starting to look an 18 m investment. I think lindegard will be sub as I don't see utd getting past ath Bilbao this week.

      Bolton vs Spurs postponed in GW34 due to FA Cup semi (one of them will get through). Possible double on the way, althougth I believe there's a gap in the midweek which could keep it in GW34.

        Methinks due to the importance of the FA Cup ties, those teams might prefer not to have midweek games. Similar to why Liv-Eve got rescheduled later (due to CC Finals)

      Not really. 8 point hit for:

      Aguero to Rooney - 12 points gained and Rooney has much better fixtures
      Mata to Ryo - 1 point gained and a lot of money raised
      Taiwo to Skrtel - nothing gained yet but a game to go and got rid of a dropped player for one with great fixtures
      Raylor to Enrique - Enrique 2 points so far. Both have a game to go

      On 26 points net, Ba and RVP(c) tonight plus the 2 Liverpool defenders to come.

        I did it - wouldn't have done it without the DGW, but with it, and with a guaranteed price rise, it was an OK transfer (in retrospect I'd have rather gone for Rooney, but Suarez may yet stil get reasonably close to Rooney's score - can't see him overtaking it, though). Wasn't expecting great things but a probable 4 pts is better than many strikers will get this week.

        But Nani is obviously a big favourite of Fergies and hasn't he just signed a massive new contract? Valencia was beastly before he got injured and Young can be patchy, I suppose while he's playing so well, Fergie will stick with him. The team midweek and at the weekend could be very interesting.

          Aye it's going to be interesting who starts, with llorente scoring a cracker last night it's going to be tough!!! I just think Young is verrrry form based, get him while he's hot. He'll be out of most peoples teams in 3 weeks. Would love that to be wrong though, he was amazing yesterday, if he continues that form we can edge city. Obviously Rooney might make a little difference too.... 🙂

            Think your right about Young. Not sure about doing Nani to Young tho, massively crabby.

            I'd go elsewhere but the options are poor. I'd be tempted to get rid of Bale if the fixtures werent so good. Spurs are in a slump and I can see loads of 2 pointers from Bale.

      I wouldn't be happy benching Holt or Lescott. Cities home defensive record is still brilliant, I'd play Lescott over any of your other defenders. Holt has pretty much scored against all the big sides this season.
