Fantasy Football Scout are delighted to announce the dates of our Fantasy Premier League Cup competitions for the 2018/19 campaign.

We are launching our 16th open-to-all tournament, along with a ninth competition for Members. Both tournaments have £300 in prizes on offer.

Sign-up for the open tournament can be found here.

Members can sign up to both tournaments, via entry forms here and here.

The roll call of former cup winners looks like this: donnellyc, Jonty, Gribude, Goonerdave, Ninja_Fit_Saints, sleeping master, Mch, Wild Rover, Tdubb05 , CMIFLFC, Mark, Leon Harris, A Manager Has No Name, Sleepysi, TH14 and our reigning champion 2EyedTurk.

As former winners, those listed will gain a bye to the first round of the tournament should they enter with the same username.

In our Members Cup, our list of winners is as follows:

Waltzingmatildas, Fuzzy Dunlop, Kippax Kickers Acquafresca, Trigg Ola Svanheld, Malaikat Jahad and the current champion rrcmc.

Again, those listed above will gain a bye to the first round proper of the Members Cup should they enter with the username listed.

If you’re new to our cup competitions, read on for an FAQ, offering all the details.

How do the Cup Competitions Work?

The FFS Cup is very similar to the Fantasy Premier League’s own Fantasy Cup game.

Entrants who qualify for the first round will be randomly drawn against each other and the winner of the tie is whoever has the highest score from that Gameweek, minus points spent on transfers (like in the original game and in head-to-head scores).

In the event of a tie, the manager highest in the overall FPL rankings after the tie will progress.

When do they start?

The qualifying round for the Fantasy Football Scout Cup will take place in Gameweek 12, with the first round proper running in Gameweek 13.

Fantasy managers can enter their teams from now right up to 10.30am on Monday November 12, when we’ll stop entries and make the first round draws shortly after.

The qualifying round for the Members Cup will take place week later in Gameweek 13, with the first round running in Gameweek 14.

Fantasy managers can enter their teams from now right up to 10.30am on Monday November 26, when we’ll stop entries and make the first round draws shortly after.

Previous winners must enter with the same usernames listed above to gain their bye.

How do I enter?

Enter the open-to-all FFS Cup via the entry form here.

Enter the FFS Members Cup via the entry form here. This form is only visible to Members and you will need to log into the Members’ area to view the form.

You will be sent a confirmation email to verify your entry and you’ll be asked to confirm your FPL team ID at the point of entry – please be sure to click the link to verify that your team is correct before confirming. If you FPL team is incorrectly entered, we cannot amend this at a later date.

Your entry is only completed once you have confirmed your FPL team ID as part of the process.

To check that you’re entered correctly, please scan the list of entries.

The open-to-all FFS Cup list is here.

The Members FFS Cup list is here.

How do I find my FPL team ID?

Your FPL ID is your unique ID for your FPL team. This is found via your Gameweek History page – the link to which is found in the right-hand menu under your FPL team strip. When you visit your Gameweek History you will see a number in the URL (as opposed to the XXX below).

https://fantasy.premierleague.com/a/entry/XXX/history

Place this 1-7 digit number, or your Gameweek History URL, in the FPL ID field on the entry form.

When will I find out if I’ve qualified?

Results from the Fantasy Football Scout Cup qualifying round will be published shortly after November 12 and then weekly, after the completion of each Gameweek, from that point on.

Results from the Members Cup qualifying round will be published shortly after November 26 and then weekly, after the completion of each Gameweek, from that point on.

I would sell Mitrovic and Costa and keep Jimenez, because I think Jimenez may get some assists in GW13 and 14, whereas Mitrovic and Fulham's form has gone completely downhill. If you sell Mitrovic, you'll have a bit more money for strikers and could go with Arnautovic, instead of Wilson. Could you get Brooks for Costa, or another 5.1 midfielder? I hope this helps.

But Mitrovic played Bournemouth away last week and did nothing. Fulham's form is rubbish atm and I don't think Mitrovic will do much at Huddersfield this weekend.

have a dilemma...want to shift patrício for fab and mitro for arnie but only 0.1 itb.

    A) Pat to Fab this week, Mitro to Arnie next week for -4

    B) Mitro to Arnie this week for -4

    C) Save FT, Mitro to Arnie next week for free, or -4 if selling Pat as well

Patricio has been one of the best 4.5 goalkeepers this season, why do you want to get rid of him? Who's your other goalkeeper? I have Pat and Fab and will just rotate them. I think B this week.

Ryan and Fab not both needed, just get Fab - better in the long term, plus you have duffy already, also brighton have been very lucky with their clean sheets so far. Try and upgrade Masuaku, maybe Kenedy or Murphy may be an option. Its a good team though.
