It’s not been the greatest of gameweeks so far, has it? With a couple of clashes still to go, many of us will be keeping a keen eye on tomorrow night’s events at the Emirates, with the hopes of many a Fantasy manager pinned firmly on the shoulders of Robin Van Persie.

For now, though, our members can now pick through all the statistics from the Gameweek and, once again, we’ve picked out some eye-catching numbers to digest. As usual, we’ve also included our prediction of where the Fantasy Premier League bonus will go…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

How has this season compared to others in FF terms? Seems like it's been tough to get alot of consistency among so many players versus previous seasons. Thoughts?

    Sorry for the repost but

I haven't done this for a while but please RMT for next week at least. Some advice about midterm moves are also welcomed.

    Hart (Vorm)
    Simpson, Senderos, Skrtel, Jevans
    Bale (C), Demps, Morrison
    RVP, Rooney (VC) Ba
    bench: Siggy, Komp, Sess
1.2m in the bank 1 FT

    Thanks,

Your spending on Hart is preventing you from having an ideal midfield. Imo. Also, you have been slow to react to Sessegnon - which does surprise me.

Agree with Doos here. Poo midfield. Hart is luxurious (obviously did well today), Bale as (c) is psychotic.

Great team. I'd probably flog Kompany off for someone dirt cheap so you can get Valencia for Morrison for example later on.

Well Hart is luxury but I have value of 110m for my team. He outscored SIlva for last 5 GW's for a lot. I don't want to sell Vorm and I don't see who can rotate with him. If I find someone who I am tempted a lot I could sell Hart. Currently I want Ade and he will be my Ba replacement. I have the cash.

My midfield: Bale, Demps, Sess 3 in top 5, Siggy and Morrison great potential and differentials. What is there weak? I don't see mids that I am tempted and no captain choices out there. Rooney, RVP, Ade on the other side. Midfield is City, Liv, Utd fair enough IMO. I kept Sess cause I don't see anybody in his price range that tempts me and he suddenly became a differential.

Thanks everybody, so it seems that my probably weak links could be Hart, Komp and Sess. I got comments for them, but I still see value in all 3,. Hmm... I could save the transfer this week and see what will happen.

I think Hart is a smashing choice myself. While every City defender has been burned he's had a great run. Almost only 7s and 8s.

Rooneys great spell at start of season was also when Young was at his best , think they bring the best out of each other, fergie will know , Still worried about the Wolves game though , its far too easy . and following from a eiuro game , could mean lots of rotation

United plays through the wings, so when one winger has a good game - generally so does Rooney. If two do well, well ... Arsenal happens.

feelin so good bout my ML right now!
climbed from 3rd to 2nd last week.
and this week im only 40points off 1st!

been outscoring 1st for the last 4-5weeks, so that initial 150point gap is rapidly closing!

anyone else been having a streak of green arrows?

Yeah, I have been flying since I started on here about three weeks ago. Was 12th/14th for weeks on end until recently in my main ML and have been first for last two weeks. Spent hours on here and it has paid off....

Hey guys, could use some advice.
I’m on 22 points so far this week. Left Vorm and Caulker on the bench, got a midfield full of 2 pointers etc. Would it be irrational to pull the WC trigger tonight? I really need to turn it around before it’s too late.

This is the team I fielded this week:

    Al-Habsi
    Skrtel / Evans J / Taiwo
Dempsey / Bale / Yaya Toure / Silva
    Pogrebnyak / Suarez / RVP

(Vorm / McClean / Caulker / Simpson) [2.2 in the bank]

it isn't so much you're team but bad decision making in picking the 11.

If you had played caulker and vorm you would be looking at mid 30's score this week with rvp to come. I wouldn't pull the trigger to be honest as the team is fine.

Guess most people who saved up their wildcard for the last week are very happy.
Despite Liverpool (so far) the switch from blue to red couldnt have worked out better.
That combined with many others taking 8 and 12 poiint hits has made the wildcard very lucrative

Your right mate. My challengers seem to have taken 8/4 points hits in fact I think a lot of people did this week as i have a green arrow. I have 32 points and stand at 7k.

On recent form Valencia and Young occupy the wings but with 3 quality players plus the legendary Giggs there is bound to be rotation.

I hope Valencia isn't put at RB to accomodate Nani and Young. Pretty sure Fergie won't be kean to play him at the back with Smalling, Jones and Rafael as options.

Quite likely - if not today, then tomorrow. So if you're eager to the transfer before the price rise, do it now cuz you won't have any more news on him/Nani/Valencia by tomorrow

I went for RVP. Realistically I think RVP will match Rooneys score. Depends on what Newcastle do mind you. If they capitulate early doors it could be a massacre.

I was going to take a 4 point hit to do Dempsey to Nani last week (which would have meant benching Bale).

Instead I left it (and benched Dempsey).

At least it worked out more profitable than Taiwo > G Johnson for a 4point hit!
