We have updated the Watchlist ahead of Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 12.

All four sections have been tackled in one article this time around with attention drawn only to the biggest changes.

Make sure you investigate the widget in full on our sidebar to see who we think you should be monitoring for your squads in the coming weeks.

The only mover in the goalkeeper department is Jordan Pickford (£4.9m) who creeps just above Newcastle shot-stopper Martin Dubravka (£5.0m). There are two tricky fixtures for Everton in the next four as they have to travel to Chelsea and Liverpool but home matches against Cardiff and Newcastle have strong clean sheet potential.

Above him, Kasper Schmeichel‘s (£5.0m) form has increased from C to B as Leicester kept their first clean sheet since Gameweek 7 in their recent win at Cardiff City.

Just below the Dane, Rui Patrício (£4.6m) shakes off his Unfavourable Fixtures factor as Wolves schedule eases a little. After a trip to Arsenal this week, the newly-promoted side have Huddersfield (home) and Cardiff (away) as well as a trip to Newcastle in Gameweek 16. However, the Gameweek 15 visit of Chelsea and Gameweek 17 meeting with Bournemouth keep his fixture factor blank for now.

Ben Foster‘s (£4.5m) schedule swings in a different direction as his Favourable Fixtures factor becomes an Unfavourable Fixtures one. Watford’s next four matches are Southampton (away), Liverpool (home), Leicester (away) and Manchester City (home).

Patrício’s Wolves colleague Matt Doherty (£4.9m) is the only rising defender. That fixture swing is what has underpinned him creeping just past Keiran Trippier (£6.3m), who faces Chelsea (home) and Arsenal (away) in two of the next three Gameweeks. To his credit though, Trippier has finally shaken off his Rotation Risk factor having started the last 10 Premier League matches in a row and featuring only as a late substitute in Spurs’ midweek Champions League win over PSV.

Kiko Femenía (£4.2m) remains on the list as a starting £4.2m defender but Watford’s fixtures (mentioned above) push him to the bottom of the pile. The options from Leicester (Chilwell), Everton (Digne) and Newcastle (Yedlin) all look better for the near future. Femenía’s form also drops to B, with two hauls and two blanks in the last four matches.

Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) and Eden Hazard (£11.3m) remain above Raheem Sterling (£11.1m) among midfielders for Gameweek 12, in spite of the Man City man’s 21-point haul against Southampton. He keeps his Rotation Risk factor on account of missing two plum home fixtures to Pep Guardiola’s selection policy earlier this season. Meanwhile, Hazard loses his Injury factor having officially recovered from his back problem.

After switching him to Gylfi Sigurdsson (£7.5m) for Gameweek 11, Richarlison (£6.9m) has returned to the Watchlist. We consider it a peace offering after he ruthlessly punished our decision to remove him a week ago. Fantasy Football Scout members will be able to look at the data behind his return to the Watchlist by reading this article.

James Maddison’s (£7.0m) knee injury sees him drop to eighth place while Ryan Fraser (£6.1m) and Anthony Martial (£7.5m) benefit to occupy sixth and seventh place respectively.

Fulham’s problems in front of goal have seen Andre Schürrle (£5.9m) drop off the end of the list to be replaced by West Ham’s Felipe Anderson (£6.8m). It’s mainly the fixtures that hold him there for now as we’d like to see some consistency before pushing him higher up.

A 13-point haul against Southampton is enough for Sergio Aguero‘s (£11.4m) form to go back to A. Therefore, he holds onto top spot in the forwards’ section.

12 points registered against Burnley sees Marko Arnautovic (£7.1m) improve his form to B and he is set for another week in second place with West Ham’s nice run.

The only other change in the forwards’ section sees Aleksandar Mitrovic (£6.7m) fall off the bottom in disgrace. His replacement is Álvaro Morata (£8.7m) who has four goals in his last four matches and impressive underlying statistics to back that up too. He comes in just below Harry Kane (£12.4m) but one above Roberto Firmino (£9.2m)

          Fair enough, just my opinion.
I'd rather my captain had two chances of a return, rather than just one.
Unless the player I'm considering captaining is in blistering form (which Salah isn't) I'd never TC with a single fixture.

Good luck to you though, may fortune favour the brave.

I doubt a key player would be rested in GW34/35 for a team that was going for the title (Salah for Liverpool) or top four (Kane).
Also free hit can be just as useful for the GW that will have the negative effect of DGWs where only 6 or 8 teams are playing, and usually it'll be teams not still in the FA cup, so generally bottom half teams with players most people won't currently own.

Who knows, City might have won the league by then and Pool still be in the Champions League. Lot of unknown factors. There are more than one viable strategies for using chips.

It's possible, but I'm sure the teams at the top will still have something to play for in those remaining few weeks, whether it's the title, or top four (which will go to wire no doubt, so close between Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal this year...and United will still be fighting in those last few weeks).

For me it's simple maths, let's take the comment below, do you think Salah has a better chance of a 15 point haul in one game against Fulham, or in two games against, let's say, Watford, and Cardiff.

...and also Liverpool won't be in the CL after the group stages 🙂

I don't think its the worst idea. Last year I TC Kane for the double GW and got 1 point which totaled to 3.
What you have to ask yourself is what is the minimum score I would accept for my TC?
Lets say you decide on 15 points (45 total), If you believe Salah can get that this week, then why not?

Well, that's simplifying it too much. Of course Salah has a good chance of getting 15 this week. But there might or might not be better options down the road.

I don't have a Liverpool player other than Robertson. I could do either Hazard or Sterling to Salah as I have the money itb. However I don't fancy losing either of them.

Is Shaqiri in for one of my fodder midfielders and keep Hazard and Sterling good enough? Or do I have to have Salah. It's doing my head in.

Same dilemma. I’ll prob play it safe and do Haz > Salah for 2 weeks as I’m top of my leagues and Salah has high ownership but I am tempted by Hoijberg to Shaq. I think they’ll play 4231 with Shaq at no. 10

Thanks. If I knew for certain Shaqiri will play I may be tempted. Not sure I will take Hazard out as I will want to get him back and it would cost me 0.3. Hazard will almost certainly play 90 mins this week as well.

    Fabianski (Boruc)

Alonso, Van Dijk, Dunk (AWB, Bennett)

    Fraser, Hazard, Salah, Barkley (Maddison)

    Aguero, Arnautovic, Wilson.

    Replacement for Maddison?

    a) Richarlison
    b) Siggy

I see that people buy Richa mainly but I sold him 2 weeks ago and don't know if it is ok to get him back or should I go with Siggy as a differential because no one in my ML has him? After IB will probably get Martial also.
    Opinions?

Because you sold him 2 weeks ago is not a viable argument not to get him back in. He has had an assist and two goals since then. Bite the bullet and get him back.

However, there are roumers he might not play this weekend, so wait for presser.

Maybe, but I have Wilson already and not keen on a double with the upcoming fixtures. Going for a mid for that price allows me Holebas to Mendy as well.

Other option would be Holebas to Chilwell which would leave me 6.7m for a mid instead

Was going to ditch Zaha this week but the Maddison injury scuppered my plans. I've been patientwit Wilf as I think he's a great player.

Watching Palace, Zaha doesn't get much support and seems very isolated. When he does get the ball, he gets swarmed by the opposition and the poor fella never has any good outlets. Shame. You can imagine him at Liverpool or Man City thriving.

I will cross my fingers this weekend but really, What are the odds of Zaha getting some returns at home to Spurs?

    Hojbjerg - Doherty - AWB

I think I’ll just go Martial as my Maddison replacement and ride out the bad game this weekend.

Would do the same if I could. Derbys live their own lives, I'd be surprised if City keep a cleanie, and Martial is involved in alot of the attacking returns of United

Is there a source for the Richarlison out rumour?

Think it was a tweet yesterday about him presumably not training. Its all hoohoo and cocos atm. But I do think we will get some insight on the pressconf

He did not train yesterday and the club said he had a minor injury. Wait for presser.

I think most people are citing Alan Myers (Sky Sports) but even he's only said "apparently" in this tweet https://twitter.com/ALANMYERSMEDIA/status/1060605287479066624

As Richarlison cover if not playing this weekend who from following would you have first on bench? Thinking B given fixtures.

    A Doherty (ars),
    B Billing (WHU)
    C AWB ( TOT)

I think A actually. Arsenal's defence is hardly stellar. Dohsy could get a goal or an assist. My bench will be Jonny / AWB / Masuaku

    Sterling + Maddison > Mane + Siggy?

And then do Salah > Sterling next week?

Anyone with 2 or less Liverpool assets thought about a punt on Milner?

Cheap, on pens and scored last week.

I've thought about using him as my Maddison replacement and to free up funds and play 4-3-3 with Milner a viable first sub.

Was it not like his first goal from open play in like forever?

He is a good asset, and liverpool do have the fixtures (might not have the form tho). If 5.6 is what you got, Milner is as good a shout as any.

Now that I can’t afford Anderson I don’t think I’ll get a thing done at work today looking for a Maddison replacement

Can you bench him this week?

Would have to start Billing or WB. Not the end of the world I guess as Maddison hasn’t been returning anyway
