No Gylfi pleasure for me, Dempsey heartbreak more like. A trip to the Cottage inspired the decision to throw my FPL armband the way of Captain America, only for Sigurdsson to steal the thunder and banish me to a miserable tube ride home.

Mark lends an (un)sympathetic ear in this latest episode, as we roll through the regulars whilst discussing how we’re all heading back to the drawing board for our third striker solution.

    With only one gameweek score below 40 and 3hits all I've been fairly consistent..struggled to get the odd really high score though which has cost me and has me lagging behind at 50k..disappointing..

      Sounds like you've been too conservative. Need to take a few calculated risks here and there and go with your instinct more. Think "sod it" as you hit the confirm transfer button.

      Like I just did on McClean > Siggy for a hit

            Well that kind of decision I am leaving to the bookies. I didn't play him and I lost 6pts fair play, but away at Fulham wasn't predictable at all. I am not fully convinced by strategy for rotating keepers.

            But I had to say my opinion then, he wasn't in the top 10 and Bogdan was top of the watch list. It wasn't logical according to me, having in mind the quality of Swa defense compared to Bol.

            Never mind, I've got mentioned in the podcast, so happy 😛

    So It looks like there was a Manchester United reserves game tonight.

    Jones, Smalling & Cleverley all played 90 minutes.

    So Cleverley comes back from injury, does 90 minutes in the Europe league, doesn't get included in the squad for the Wolves game and now is unlikely to feature against Fulham.

    Turning out to be a terrible punt getting Cleverley in

    OK, FF stupid question # 1,489,599 but I would appreciate the clarification so I can go to bed 🙂

    I bought a player at 6.1, he is currently valued at 6.4 and so has a selling price of 6.2

    Therefore if he drops tonight, he will be valued at 6.3, but it doesn't really matter for me if I sell him tomorrow thought does it, because the selling price will still be 6.2 tomorrow, even if his price drops to 6.3 tonight, right, RIGHT?

    Please confirm I haven't gone mental and I can go to bed, thanks 🙂

      Yeah, his selling price will still be 6.2 if his value drops to 6.3. It's what we call a "free" drop without consequence on selling price 🙂

    Now my team is a bit of a mess but ive got 2 free transfers these are my options:

    b) Baines, Walters, Yaya > Siggy, Valencia, Vermaelen (-4)
    c) Walters, Yaya > Siggy, Valencia
    d) any other ideas

      You'd be very nervous every gameweek, until the end of the season, if you didn't have Rooney. Barring their game against City away, they look to have a very strong run in until the season's end. I would suggest having one United defender (Evans the standout because of price) and two united attackers from Valencia, Young and/or Rooney.

    Struggling with who to bench this week??

    rvp(c) (AVL) suarez (WIG) rooney(vc) (FUL)

    bench: lindegard, bale (che) kompany (stk) olsson (NEW)

    Could go 11 at home for a once in a lifetime event!

      I would probably bench Arteta (for Bale), unless you can upgrade him to Walcott
