Guys, if you would be so kind...did Santon start and get taken off again after 45 mins? Or did he come on at HT? Thanks
Open Controlsthanks Mull.

For nextweek, If i dont have Dempsey, should i get in Pog as Fulham coverage instead of Ba ? [4point hit]
Open ControlsNext week? Like, "at Utd" next week? -4 for Pog at Utd?
No.
But perhaps I misunderstand.Open ControlsOh, FFS! Nevermind. Red wine got to me. Ignore this ...
Open ControlsNo No..means -4 hit for Pog home to Norwich 🙂 sorry for misunderstanding
Open ControlsYou misunderstand.
At home to Norwich.
I would definitely want some Fulham for the next 2 games? For a 4 point hit? 50/50 call.Open Controlshaha ~ ok.fair call..so,what do u think ?
Open ControlsNo Dempsey.... hmmm.
I'd wait for tonight's game. See how they play. Dempsey would be my man of choice but if you're still holding Ba it mightn't be a bad shout to get Pog inOpen Controlsalright..i bet MU not concede any goal tonight.hm,,thanks Lucky.Maybe Cisse is a good shout.yeah

And sorry I hadn't refreshed my page for awhile didn't see the ^^ posts

Righty, my initial thoughts ... Mata to Bale or Suarez to Adebayor...any opinions?
The one match I did see was Chel v Spurs and Bale looks like the only points gatherer amongst that lotOpen ControlsMata to Bale.
Suarez seems to have a spark of form, Ade's ... Ade, and who the hell knows what's going on with the geriatrics over at Chels.
I'm not a huge Bale fan, but of your choices ...Open Controlsthanks KE..it just feels like I need a Spurs player, even though Spurs look slightly out of form. Mata has Villa(away) and Wigan(home) which look nice on paper but I'm worried about Chelsea rotation with the cups
Open Controls
drogba?
aguero?
cisse?
baletolli?
Adebayor?
Tevez?
Or keep SuarezOpen ControlsNo Crouch? 🙂
I have a similar dilemma and it's looking like i'll probably keep himOpen Controlsadebayor for me.
Open ControlsAdebayor doesn't look good enough in my opinion. But Drogba is a good shout as well as Cisse, just depends on the fixtures for them really.
Open ControlsJust looked at all those names for Ba as well and went in the opposite direction with Yakubu. Was hoping to use the extra money on a deluxe midfielder circa the 09/10 seasons for Silva but remembered Fabs and Ronaldo are long gone. Do I dare go for Lampard or Gerrard? Nasri?
Open Controls
Considering taking the WC option for my team, so I dont have to take hits.
Have already done Skrtel -> Verm. Any other transfers would be hits.
My team:
Vorm (Ruddy)
BAE Verm Evans Caulker Kelly
Bale Dempsey Sess McClean Young
Ba RVP Rooney
Thinking about transfering out:
Young -> Valencia
Ba -> Someone better
Sess -> Walcott (possibly)
And maybe sort out other places. Whatcha think? Should I WC?Open ControlsWhat time do players rise and fall exactly? Considering Cisse as he is due to rise to 6.8
Open Controls2:30ish, I believe.
Open Controls
😀 😀 Rooney (C) 😀 😀 cant wait . . .
Open ControlsI'm scared

How easy or hard was FPL a few years ago? I didn't play this game then. Surely team selection was easier thenwith Fabs, CR7, Lampard, Gerrard etc to choose from.
Open Controlswas easier but a lot of the same names float around still. Back then rooney, persie, drogba and adebayor were fantasy big hitters, Dempsey was 6 mill and still banging them in!
Open ControlsCaptaincy may have been easier, but other aspects were harder.
Fitting in the Holy Trinity of CRon, Lamps, Gerrard meant being very cagey elsewhere on the team. Also, If you were ahead in your league, it was great. But try making up points when everyone is captaining Ronaldo and he's banging in 40+ points a week. Diabolical, it was.Open ControlsIn those days "rotation" wasn't looked upon that much. Nowadays even prem rookies like Norwich are going nuts with it.
Open ControlsRemember when transfer hit were only 3 points? ahhhhh glory days 🙂
Open Controls
GW 31 - Rooney (bla) RVP (qpr) Bale (SWA) Dempsey (NOR).
It's one of THOSE captaincy weeks..Open ControlsBegins and ends with Roon v. RVP, imo.
Open ControlsI went with Holt this week and I can see it ending better than both the aforementioned 😛
Open ControlsMaybe ... in which case you're aptly named.
But I can also see Roon doing as well ... and he'll likely play next week 🙂Open ControlsHolts already been shown the door
Open ControlsIf it wasn't for his fixtures I would seriously be looking to bring him in for the 3rd striker spot after next weeks games.
Open ControlsFixtures, Tendency for rotation, Suspension, I had to get rid.
Norwich are a goldmine of fantasy assets, if only Lambert didn't love his rotation.Open Controlsi'm going to captain rvp
qpr are really struggling. it was bad luck that vp got nothing against villa
anyway my rival has to captain him because he doesnt have rooney. the week after i will captain roonster home against wolves and fly up my minileagueOpen Controls
Begovic (Krul)
Richards, Evans, Kelly (Rangel, Enrique)
Bale, Dempsey, Valencia, Siggy (Surman)
RVP, Rooney, Ba
1FT 2.8m in bank
Haven't got a clue what to do here. Did the wise man say be patient?Open ControlsThe wise man questions the presence of Demba Ba
Open Controls😀 Ah but is there anyone who is worthy to take his place?
Open ControlsFollow me to bring Pog 😛
Open ControlsHe's got Dempsey already, probably overkill.
Open Controls
Adebayor Jelavic and Crouch the only 3 I'm considering.
Adebayor got man of the match on some websites the other night - and he could easily have ended up with a good haul. I've gone with a punt on Jelavic for the meantime though.Open Controls
can u afford Enriqu > Verm ?
Open ControlsYes that is an option. Will make it hard to get Ade if he suddenly explodes back into life. Is Verm also chasing points?
Open ControlsActually it won't. I will still have 0.3 left over. HMMM
Open ControlsI just did Skrtel > Verm transfer.with 4.4% owner, so tempted to get him. With Arsenal will keep their CS and this man can score too
Open Controls
With Colocinni injured, is it definitely time to ditch Newcastle defense?
Debating between Graham > Yak transfer vs. Raylor > X, or just banking the transfer for this week.Open ControlsRoberto Martinez, on Wigan's win:
“We hope this could be a defining moment in our season, a first (away) win against a team that is a member of the old Big Four.”
😀Open Controls"member of the old Big Four" how things have changed at Liverpool, talking about rubbing salt in the wound 😀
Open Controlshaha, big fat seven now
Open Controls
6. Newcastle 50
7. Liverpool 42
8. Sunderland 40
9. Everton 40
10. Swansea 39
11. Norwich 39
Would be absolutely glorious if Liverpool finish 11th 😀Open Controls
Ba > Cisse knee-jerk?
Well I don't mind if I do.Open ControlsI'm keeping and will be delighted if Ba scores and Cisse doesn't 🙂 That said I hope the Verminator hasn't run out of steam
Open ControlsJust about to watch the game now, who looked the most dangerous?
I remember last week Cisse had something like 4 shots, 4 on target, compared to Ba's 3 shots, 1 on target.
Although I have a foggy.
Think Cisse being cheaper sways it, gives me a sexy backline 😉Open ControlsYeah Cisse is definitely the better option. Got stretchered off with a bad bout of cramp but should be good to start next week. Ba played wide left for some reason so it resulted in the Cisse and B Arfa show
Open ControlsWell seeing as it worked I'll hope it continues 😛
And the thing is, I'd feel more comfortable benching Cisse vs bigger teams I think.Open Controls
4K red arrow so far.
Now, come on Evans, Valencia and Rooney (C) make that red arrow green!Open Controls2 questions?
Whats happening with GW34?
Goalscoring defender. Who would you buy?
- I want to get huth in, but is shawcross just a good goal threat as huth is?Open ControlsNothing confirmed as yet, they could just slot back into GW34.
Vermaelen, Baines, Huth, Cahill all spring to mindOpen Controls
who the f do i get in for ba
Open ControlsCisse - the QPR one.
Open Controls
Skrtel>Baines worth it?
Would only leave me 1.2M in the bank if the Jelavic punt doesn't work outOpen ControlsAs someone said a while ago, the likes of Baines now become worthy of investment with our team values getting high and the expensive players not doing the business, added to the fact the cheaper players seem to be firing.
I'll be (most likely) doing Enrique > Baines next week, however, like Liverpool, Everton can be inconsistent against smaller teams.Open ControlsVermaelen Baines BAE (Evans, Caulker) would make sense this week then?
Open ControlsLooks good, but you might be getting some CS/goal/assist on your bench regularly 🙂
Open Controls
probably. i can see baines going crazy to be honest. He's playing against mid table teams and everton just have this knack of having a good run at the end of the season.
if you stick to the old prejudices of midtable teams cant be bothered anymore, then baines will do wellOpen Controls
Hmmm... might WC to this fello - http://ScrnSht.com/mcsnar
komps/ba/ferguson/enrique out for shawcross hibbert odem and baleOpen ControlsGive up on Silva and don't trust Odemwingie
Open ControlsSell Silva
Open Controlsyea yeayeaaaa everyone on the silva boat!
got for 9.5 since week 1 and ill miss that fella... city's fixtures look alrite tbh but bale looks better i guessOpen ControlsCity's fixtures look alright, but Silva is constantly being taken off after 60-75 minutes despite City needing a goal or 2.
He's way off form and carrying an injury, I'm glad I got rid for Walcott this last week, but I shouldn't have kept him for this long!Open Controls
I really like Miyachi as a player, and I'm definitely keeping as I think he'll continue racking up the assists.
But does anyone else expect him to score? Great footwork, buildup play etc.. but the shots I've seen from him so far kinda suggest the finishing needs a little work.
Thoughts?Open ControlsHe'll get the odd goal but theres a far more chance of him doing what he does which is play wide and get a cross in
Open ControlsI have him as well
If a player can get in the right area against a poor defensive team even a granny can score
he has a slight chance to score.Open Controls- Open Controls

just had a look at my mini League, pretty dire scoring this gw but my main rival has
+8 with jEvans and Dempsey to play
i have Roonpig (C) Valencia (VC) jEvans still to play
reckon ill be first come this time tomorrow?Open ControlsSo 8 + Dempsey vs Rooney x2 and Valencia?
I'd say it's more likely to be 10 vs Rooney x2 and Valencia, and I can see you definitely being top.Open Controlsyeah i hope your right, would be good to see a rampant rooney
even though i dont want to see Utd win the leagueOpen ControlsNeither, but I don't want to see City do it either, so I'm fooked both ways.
Which means..
GO ROONEY!!Open Controlsso Utd is the lesser of two evils in your eyes?
Open Controls
cisse gonna rise?
Open ControlsKrul
Evans Raylor Kelly
Bale Dempsey Young Siggy
RVP Ba Rooney
Mignolet Sess Turner Caulker
1.0 in the bank and 1 FT
any suggestions for use my FT ? or just save it?Open ControlsWho will keep more clean sheets from GW33 in your opinion;
Spurs - NOR qpr BLA avl FUL (Possible DGW vs Bolton somewhere in there)
Liverpool - bla WBA nor CHE swa (Possible DGW vs FUlham somewhere in there)
City - WBA nor wol MUN new QPROpen ControlsSpurs and City will get 3 or 4 each. Liverpool only 1 imo
Open ControlsWow one.
It's between Kaboul, Enrique and Richards for my last defensive spot.
Not planning on keeping Enrique even though it saves a transfer.
I guess when you also consider Richards might only play 3-4 of the 6, then it's gotta be Kaboul - who is due one of his rocket right footers to go in 🙂Open ControlsI'd rather Richards. I still think he will start over Zabaletta once Kompany and company returns at CB
Open ControlsTrue but there is also a risk that he will get rotated at least once.
I'm thinking that Spurs have better fixtures and a possible DGW so maybe Kaboul is the one.
Will see what happens over the next few thoughOpen ControlsYeah it is probably better to get Spurs defense over Citeh defense. Consider BAE over Kaboul though, his stats are awesome so you could see some attacking returns
Open ControlsOohh I can afford that with 0.0 in the bank.
If i can afford it by GW33, I'll get him of course - but chances are I won't be able to.Open ControlsGet Walker.
Scored in the FA cup a week ago, got in some good positions vs Chelsea. - See the awful Adebayor cross and failed near post rocketOpen ControlsYeah he was looking good vs Chelsea, but previously BAE has looked more dangerous.
It all depends on Lennon though, when he starts Walker stays deeper, but when it's VDV/Kranjcar on the right drifting in, Walker pushes up a lot more, like at the weekend.Open Controls
Has to be City then Spurs I reckon. Liverpool's opponent are more likely to keep cleanies than pool.
Open Controls😛
I see Spurs clean sheets against QPR, Villa, Fulham and one of Bolton/Blackburn/Norwich
I'd say City vs WBA, Wolves and QPR
Pool vs WBA and actually now that I look at it, I'm with Ryan, I don't see too many more than one for LiverpoolOpen Controls
im saying spurs out of those 3
with citeh a close second
Liverpool are too shakey at the back and probably resigned to going for fa cup and europa spotOpen ControlsI think Spurs will.
Open Controls
Morning everyone, which one of these do you fancy:
1. My cup oppo has Rooney (c)
2. I have Rooney + 11 points
If Rooney scores a brace (3 baps) then Im fecked 😕Open ControlsHave you given up on the FPL Open tie? Seems the only way to win is Rooney -2 red card. 🙁
Open Controls
60-40 to you. He only got 5 points in a 5-0 last gw. He is due though. 😆
Open ControlsYeah not looking good with his Roon x2 🙁
Fratboy is still kicking my ass on your FPL open thingy, pretty embarrassing with him already telling me his 3 transfers and captain in advance as well 😆Open ControlsYeah, wish I took a hit or at least used my 2nd free. Would have made a big difference this week.
Open Controls
So if Rooney scores less than 10 you win?
Gonna be close.
For my own selfish purposes (my 3 H2H's rely on Rooney) I hope you lose 😀Open Controls+10 FPL points.
Open ControlsYep, cant believe im relying on Suarez to get some baps...
You out of all people I thought will captain Robin 😐Open ControlsI didn't see us scoring more than 2 vs Villa (wrong) so I figured RVP wouldn't get too much (right)
I know Rooney got 1 assist in a 5-0 win, but I felt he was more likely to get a hat-trick.Open Controls
Who will score more points this coming weekend
1. Ba (LIV) & Verminator (qpr)
2. Ade (SWA) & Evans (bla)Open Controls2.
Open ControlsHmm, tough.
It all depends on Adebayor I think.
I'll go with 1, but only just.Open ControlsIm basically trying to work out who to sell and buy this week
Enrique > Verminator
or
Ba > Ade
Most people will be in a similar boat regarding Liverpool defense and Ba. Just not sure what the best order to do it in. I will likely do both transfers over two weeks just not sure which one to do first.Open Controls
Im chasing, theo/shawcross in morrison/skrtel out for a hit? Good or bad? Have to sell skrtel to be able to get theo. If not, just do Enrique to huth and dont take a hit? Really fancy stoke to shut out wigan especially without moses
Open ControlsWalcott will be popular this week. If you are that confident then it's a simple decision. Wait until after the MU game.
Open Controls
Love this..
MJ6987 says:
From BBC…
“Krul, Coloccini, S Taylor, Santon, Marveaux, Tioté, Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Ba and Papiss = £34.5m. Andy Carroll = £35m”Open ControlsRemember that time about 4-5 weeks ago when I had to decide between Ba and Cisse and I picked Ba?
Good times...good timesOpen ControlsAh yes ... those good times. I, in fact, shunned both and went for Zamora, only to be horribly disappointed and then shipped for Ba, only to be horribly disappointed, and now have Cisse ...
... cue horrible disappointment.Open Controls
