    Hey guys! I haven't followed the spurs games lately so just wanted to ask....why all the love for VDV? Has he been outperforming Bale by far??

      I don't trust VDV to get 180 minutes. You just know he'll do his hammy in the first 10 minutes of the first game. Bale is virtually guaranteed 180 minutes.

          Over Bale though? Bale could easily outscore him. It's risk v reward and for me Bale is a better bet.

      I've been thinking about this too. Got to shift Walcott (sigh). In addition to Cisse, I've got no Everton or Spurs attacking coverage.

      I would say VDV is the best option (if he can get 120+ minutes in GW36 and if he can stay fit for the rest of the season).

      Bale is my second choice and Pienaar is my third choice.

      I'll likely go for Bale because he will probably play 180 mins and has been much better than VDV this season FPL-wise.

      I don't rate Pienaar as an FPL prospect to be honest. He's decent in a DGW but I'd rather have Bale or VDV.

    Dempsey/Fellaini/Pienaar?

    Dempsey -- Proven goalscorer, proven DGW player, but all rivals have him

    Fellaini -- Major differential, but playing CF, and Everton's best player on the pitch according to some Utd fans, but might drop to CDM

    Pienaar -- Attacking threat, played well yesterday, and will not play defensively at any rate unlike Fellaini

    So, whom would you go for out of the three and why?

      Didn't watch the game yesterday, but Pienaar looks the best bet based on form & fixtures - Dempsey is back out left and didn't do too much against Wigan home. Everton look strong going forward lately.

      I was impressed with Fellaini but will he play so advanced in future and is he nailed on?
      For this reason I would go Pienaar. Don't get Dempsey due to your rivals having him and he is now playing on the left.

    Any Aguero owners out there willing to share some insight:

    Keep or sell for Jelly for a 4point hit.

    Aguero:

    -On pens
    -Great at home
    -City HAVE to win
    -United crumble when pressed.
    -Not owned by many of my rivals
    -Would save 4 points

    Jelly:

    -Could also be on pens
    -Fulham are rubbish away
    -Seems many of my rivals will bring him in
    -Wolves GW37
    But could he be rested for one of the DGW games?

      Not so sure about United's history of "crumbling when pressed"...pretty much ignoring the past 20 years of doing the opposite.

      Aguero away to NEW in GW37 is a tough fixture. Plus the Gods will surely conspire to allow Tevez to bag the winner next Monday if anyone's going to score.

    Has anyone watched a lot of City's games recently?

    Wolves got at them quite a bit yesterday and City looked dopey defensively at times. Wondering if ll of their games have been that open. I know Norwich Had a few close chances before the floodgates opened.

    Currently have Rooney starting and Tony V benched, but from what I saw yesterday Utd would definitely be capable of scoring there (whether Utd can defend is the problem).

      City don't concede too many at home though, deffo wouldn't choose Tony V over a DGW player.

        It would be over Sess or RVP.

        Think I will start RVP, so is probably just Sess v Tony V.

      I get the feeling that City are playing within themselves at the minute, especially players like Aguero, Silva and Yaya.

      I think the knock-on effect is that we just aren't as confident after slipping to 2nd place. I hope Mancini can turn this round in time for the derby and if we win that I see us going on to win the league.

      I think we will concede against United but whether it's worth playing 2 United attackers is another matter.

    Sigurdsson, Bale, Dempsey, McClean, (Valencia)
    Rooney, RVP, Cisse

    Anyone know if Adebayor will be fit for the double? Would like to get him out for Jelavic, but prob can't justify losing a DGW player if he's going to be fit. Was thinking (hoping) to do Ade and Sess to Jelavic and Pienaar

    Looking at some options for this week. Would love some advice.
    Thinking of going for Cisse for my Newc cover. Aware that his scoring run will end at some point –but hope that 2 games (injury permitting) will give him a chance to get something.
    Aside from that I need to get rid of Walcott…and in order to get someone decent with 2 games I might have to d’grade Kompany –but this will then mean a points hit.

    Current thinking:
    a) Holt -> Cisse
    Walcott -> Pienaar
    Kompany -> BaE
    (-4 points)
    Would mean benching one of Valencia or RvP + playing Mignolet over Bogdan and benching Killgallon…

    b) Holt -> Cisse
    Walcott -> £6.8m (so maybe an Osman or Kalou)
    (Free)
    Would prob then play Bogdan and Killgallon and bench Kompany

    What d’ya think?

      It pretty much echos most people's teams on here, so that's probably a good thing.

      I think Cisse is probably needed mainly for damage limitation. Could be dangerous to go without him when everyone around you is snapping him up.

    ok 2 questions?

    1) worth an 8 point hit to ship Both Sess and Kolarov for Pienaar and a DGW defender. Bearing in mind not doing so leaves me struggling in 37

    2) Terry amd Pienaar or

    Cahill/Jags and VdV

      1) Im hanging onto Sess for gw36 simply because they play bolton and they're due a goal. Kolarov --> Cahill or a Liverpool defender if you want a bit of change..

      2) Cahill + VDV

        yeah but if I don't shift Kolarov I'm forced to play Santon (MCI) or Caulker (mnu) as Kolarov is guaranteed not to play. DGW seems like the best time to move him on.

        Hit: -4 points

        DGW: 2 x 2pts for 90 mins played = 4

        4 + possible cs points and bps.

        Breaks even even if they concede

          the defender I'm shipping is Kolarov, so that's a guaranteed 0.
