Fernando Torres matched the achievements of Liverpool’s Luis Suarez with a hat-trick of his own as Chelsea swept pass relegation threatened QPR. With Rafael Van der Vaart delivering in Tottenham’s routine win over Blackburn, the double Gameweek gambles have almost paid in full, with another 90 minutes to go.

Here’s our usual round-up for Members of some of the key performance statistics collected so far, together with our punt on where the Fantasy Premier League bonus points could be heading…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    REPOST (stuck on bottom of the last page)

    Having resisted the Turner -> Terry (4 point hit) punt last week, I feel like I owe it to myself to take a hit this week. Any ideas? Best I can come up with is:

    a) P Cisse & Siggy -> Rooney & Moses,
    b) Turner & Siggy -> Baines/Vermaelen & Pienaar, or
    c) Kompany & Siggy -> Vermaelen & Nani

    Bogdan
    JEvans, Kompany, Skrtel
    Dempsey, Valencia, Bale, VDV
    RVP, P Cisse, Jelavic

    Mignolet, Siggy, Turner, Caulker

          I reckon so, he does all his big points against the weaker teams.

          I'd hold off on Cisse until after the Chelsea game though. (MCI)(eve) might not look so good for toon defenders but I'm not writing off him and HBA just yet.

          Nani & Pienaar the ones to have here.

      After reaching 4000 odd in the world, I've slid down to around 10k after red arrow after red arrow. I'm in danger of coming 2nd in my mini leagues after I had a seemingly uncatchable lead.

      44 pts not hits. Wanted to gamble on Terry for a -4pt hit, but only had a 15pt ML lead which is my no1 priority.

      So far so good with a Cisse(c) failure for both my rivals. Followed my gut with Bale(c) and all I can hope for is FPL nut cases maybe giving Bale a 1pt boner.

      Feeling better now that I've seen your score.

          Yeah, gw 24 and Rvp's big pts haul put me back tremendously since I got suckered into Wenger's "Rvp needs rest" bullshit talk.

          From there on in I had to start the long and slow rebuilding process. Who knows where I would have been ranked had I Rvp(c) in gw 24. Every season there seems to be a defining moment that wrecks my season. Last year it was the BZ(c) for 4 pts in the Fulham DGW when Clint cleaned up!

          I suppose we all have a sad story to tell!

          I've kept Rvp & Rooney specifically to avoid any uncalled for hits/trsfrs in gw 37. I'm actually hoping I move up the rankings more in gw 37 then in gw 36 with people taking hits and gambling in ML's.

          Cisse-->Jelavic for me and then maybe I go full out and gamble with Nani. Or maybe I leave Cisse and just get Nani as differential. Will Nani play though?

      There is really no knowing at all. Any one of them could end up with a total of 3+ goals.

      I would say probably Rooney, RVP, Dempsey in that order but it's impossible to split. I'm probably going RVP over Rooney if I can't have both.

    Is anyone else feeling ambivalent about the big game tonight? On one hand I'd like to see a classic seven-goal thriller entirely fitting to be a title decider and on the other I'd like a grim, fractious 1-1 to boost my mini-league prospects.

    I think this DGW will have a permanent influence to our FPL-souls. I can see next season - and even season after - people referring to this DGW. And what's worst, I think some of us will never be the same. Some permanent changes in brains might have already happened.

    Sorry, for bad English, I hope you get my point. Or maybe it's better (for your own mental good) you didn't.

    Took a punt on selling Rooney and hoping utd getting a result tonight. If we win I fully expect the likes of berbatov and hernandez to get a run out against swansea/sunderland.

    If city win, is it worth a hit to get Rooney back in? I would need to downgrade bale/vdv/dempsey/verm for funds
