Sign up today to secure the pre-season rate for FFScout Premium Membership

Fantasy Football Scout Premium Memberships for the 2020/21 season are still available at the pre-season cost of £17.50 – but time is running out on this offer.

Subscriptions will rise to the regular season price of £19.99 on August 31 so, if you haven’t already, make sure to sign up over the next week in order to secure the best-value rate.

The yearly fee of £17.50 works out at an equivalent of less than £1.50 a month (or 5p a day!) as, instead of expiring on June 1 as was previously the case, these rolling annual subscriptions now cover a full 12-month period.

That’s better value than our rivals are offering for the equivalent all-access Premium Membership package.

If you prefer to dip your toe into the water rather than plunge right in, however, we are continuing to offer rolling monthly subcriptions for just £2.99 per month.

Existing registered users can upgrade via this link. New users, who are yet to get a registered account, can sign up via this link.

Payments can be made through Paypal or via Stripe using debit or credit cards.

Does early FPL team news really provide an advantage?

What Do I get for my money?

Well, you’ll be joining legions of other Fantasy managers by signing up, including former Fantasy Premier League winners Adam Levy, Simon March and Tom Fenley.

Thousands upon thousands of FPL bosses take advantage of our subscriptions and sign up every year, using the stats and tools to aid their Gameweek planning.

PRO PUNDIT ARTICLES

You’ll get exclusive content from some of the best Fantasy managers in the business, including Hall of Fame number one Fábio Borges, ex-champion Simon March, five-time top 1k finisher Tom Freeman, three-time top 200 finisher Lateriser and six-time top 5k finisher Zophar.

If that wasn’t enough, Fantasy Football Scout’s founding father, Mark Sutherns, is returning to the site to supply articles and video appearances throughout the season. Again, only Premium Members will get unrestricted access to Mark’s content.

And stay tuned in the coming days for more exciting announcements on that front – as well as updates on a new, mobile-friendly design.

RATE MY TEAM AND PROJECTIONS

Our Projections and Rate My Team tools are both live for the new season, so you can head over there now to start building your teams ahead of 2020/21 and see how many points our algorithm thinks you’ll score.

These features were both refined last year, with RMT’s Professor – aka Chris Atkinson – elaborating on the changes in a Hot Topic.

SEASON TICKER

Also live for the new season is our Season Ticker.

Premium Members can sort by fixture difficulty and find out which teams’ matches rotate well.

Disagree with the Fantasy Football Scout difficulty ratings? Add you own to customise your experience.

FLAT-TRACK BULLY TOOL

Our Flat-Track Bully tool was a new addition last season, with subscribers now able to identify Fantasy assets with good records against specific clubs.

This will help you pinpoint players who perhaps perform better against weaker opposition and even those who thrive against the top teams, like Raúl Jiménez famously did in 2018/19.

HEAD-TO-HEAD COMPARISONS

Compare both teams and players head to head, with over 100 key statistics to study side by side.

PLAYER AND TEAM STATS

There are hundreds upon hundreds of player and team statistics available, which can help guide your Fantasy transfer decisions.

MATCH ANALYSIS

Analysis of every Premier League match (going back to 2011/12!), together with charts which plot average positions and our collection of heatmaps for touches, shots and chances created, among other statistics.

CUSTOM STATS TABLES

Premium Members can also create custom tables based on the data available and share them with other subscribers.

Perhaps the most famous of these is Joe’s Goals Imminent table, which looks to predict which underperforming assets will find the net next.

TESTIMONIES

2018/19 Fantasy Premier League champion Adam Levy was a paid-up Premium Member of our site and he discussed what tools of ours he finds most useful in an interview after his triumph.

In previous seasons we’ve helped FPL winners Tom Fenley and Simon March, while in 2015/16 we were thrilled to see Ed Masters – the winner of that year’s Members’ League – finish third in the overall rankings.

In 2017/18, Paul Gee went one better. He won our Members’ League and finished second, losing out to champion Yusuf Sheikh by just eight points.

    AMN 🙁

That's it Vinny. You don't look secure at all now. Welcome back, Doherty 🙂

If they had sign that Napoli guy, I wouldn't have been worried but surely Maitland won't leave one team for another just to sit on bench.

Doherty and Vinagre to Boly and Saiss is what I'm thinking of, Doherty is different gravy though.

Yep he won't warm thr bench for long imo. Vinny is attractive if he can play 90s, which i can't see happening now.

2 wolves defenders without Doherty doesn't sound right to me. Plus City will surely score against them in gw2? Your call.

He’s played on the left quite a few times; not altogether dissimilar skill set as Jonny, I’d be surprised if he was a depth MF signing rather than an emergency Lb signing. If they sign a lb, what do they do with them when Jonny returns? Seems like some good business.. could be wrong, we’ll know soon enough

This. When jonny returns, he'll be gradually eased into midfield and become Mr utility for the team, back up everywhere.

            Per ESPN:

The report suggests the clubs are in advanced talks for the versatile midfielder/full-back and that the deal would be for four years.

Arsenal are in desperate need to raise funds, and the report says Maitland-Niles won't be part of Mikel Arteta's plans. But Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo sees the England youngster as the type of role player he needs in light of the potential long-term absence of defender Jonny due to an ACL injury.

How well does the RMT tool work?

    a. Word of God

If Thiago/Keita take over the starting role it would be a huge boost for Salah over anybody else. Ever since Klopp changed his tactics it feels like Salah has been at less of an advantage, with TAA and Robbo spamming crosses - attacking those aren't his strength - and Firmino the only creative presence in the middle. Both players are an upgrade on Wijnaldum in terms of creativity, and surely Salah could then return to a 25+ goal season? Was thinking this when debating whether to keep Salah or not.

I think he will be worth it over 7-8 games or so but as you said, finding that 0.5 is tricky.

Difficult to analyze the fixtures but I plan a WC10 and if Wolves keep 6-7 CS and Saints keep like 4 than maybe KWP is worth it? Just as possible they keep 3 or so though, difficult to find the faith in the defense but perhaps we'll have to.

I considered the Boly + Saiss over Doherty + KWP you proposed but I haven't got it in me to avoid Doherty's attacking returns. I figure the latter outscores the former anyways

That's a very good team. But not enough starters for me.

Ferguson is a speculative starter at 4.0 and Stephens offers so little.

I think having a bunch of 12.0s hurts your team balance. Two at most which allows a more even spread. No Spurs or Chelsea with their strong opening fixtures seems like an oversight as well.

I am yes. But with 2 or 3 players from Chelsea i have my eye on. Was thinking to watch 1st & make a move. Unless say Werner goes nuts in pre season.

I agree with Camzy too. Mane really a place holder for a cheap player be it Bruno, Greenwood, Zyich etc. Freeing up funds for moves early on

Lots of people planning all sorts of FTs and WCs like everything is going to stay static after 2 weeks; planning can only go so far and any number of things can change priorities or upset those moves. It’s a trap.

Template shifts aren't that abrupt tbh. Only time template sets up abruptly is start of the season IMHO.
It's not easy to analyse atm what would be the template in GW 2/3 than it'd be in GW 8 to analyse what would it be in GW 10/12 for example.

Having said that, I'm going for many players who I'd like to have long term so trying to reduce transfer focus as much as I can. Let's see 🙂

Yeah but I want to be out ahead of it though; starting out 2/3 fts or a wc behind isn’t the way imho. I’m going 442 TAA/VVD/Doc for the first time because it’s going to be easier to set and forget def rather that burn transfers changing team structures.

              Same here ..
Only 2 attacking spots in my 11 below 6.5m

These are spots which takes most FT's for my teams historically so trying to keep them at 2 by going 4 atb.

    Trying to decide between,

    A) Son (9M) and Ayew (6M)
    B) Armstrong (5.5M) and Werner (9.5M)

    A) Ziyech + Son +0.5m
    B) Aubameyang + Armstrong

I still think A is better. It's crazy that Son costs 3.0m less than Auba. Son when fit and starting is elite. He also ended last season costing 9.7m. People were happy paying close to 10m for him and he starts this season, second season Mourinho, at 9m.

I'm planning to bring him in GW 2 yes. But when you see Palace & WHU there is only one bad Defense. Palace should be well drilled at least at the start.

The GW 2 fixture is reason why I'm going with Auba tbh. WHU takes a lot of shots. He's generally clinical too

Don't use a Fernandes placeholder. It's not worth for a one week punt. No one outstanding in GW1. I've tried several variations on this strategy and it always looks ugly.

Even if the player gets 8 points, it's better to have a placeholder but I guess it's risky

4 points. There are no genuinely free transfers in the first few weeks.

Basically, this player has to score more than a 4.5m defender + 4 points to be worth it. I don't see anyone that could be a sure banker. The player that could deliver might be someone like Pepe or Willian but it's too hard to call. And if they score a brace do you still want to gut your (highest scoring) player for Fernandes?

Disagree on Soucek being useless. He can rotate with 4.5ms if need be but I think he may surprise. The guy has a ton of goals in him. 13 goals in 39 games. And his underlying stats say it's no fluke either.

Probably but maybe not GW1. Commie Shield maybe too early for Gabriel. The choice of keeper may depend on who links best with the new CB pairing too, so for me, I need to see how the Arsenal defence lines up and how much understanding there is before committing.

I'll also want to know if Saliba is in, when Mari is back, whether Saka starts and how many minutes Nketiah will get if Laca leaves.

I don't like Kane's first four from an offensive standpoint nearly as much as Werner's, and I don't really subscribe to the "adapting to PL" theory, especially for a player who's been here for a month or more already.
