Reluctantly creeping back into the studio, tail protruding between my weary legs, I cut a forlorn figure for the return of the ScoutCast. Nevertheless, after a two-week break, I brave another half-hour of bile and banter with host Mark to bring the curtain down on my season to forget.

The Samaritans listening needn’t be concerned. I was smiling by the end, if only to see Mark almost on his knees begging me to rethink any plans of Fantasy Football retirement. The very idea.

In between my whining, we give the season a post-mortem, speculate on next season’s prices and assess the tussle at the top of the FPL with another Scout winner still a possibility.

Get this one big miffed of a Scoutcast via this link or use the convenient little player below to stream away.

    Evening gentlemen/ladies

Am 20 points ahead in ML - no money but bragging rights

My front 8 at present are VDV Bale Siggy Tony V Dempsey
    RVP Cisse Jelavic

Opponent has bought in Rooney and Moses for a 4 point hit - worth covering either of these or just do what I was going to do which was Dempsey for Silva/Nasri?

After my shocking start to the season ranking overall didnt matter, I'd love to get a top 5k finish one season, but i think i concentrated on the mini leagues too much this year. But I've won the ones that mattered and its another season of lessons learnt

    My team:

    Bogdan
    Verm JEvans McAuley
    Valencia Dempsey Bale Barfa
    Cisse Aguero RVP

    Vorm, Caulker, Hibbert, Sess

Not to sure whether to take a hit or not for the last game of the season. I am top of my mini league by a good distance, going against Average in H2H.

Was considering getting in Yaya for a hit... thoughts?

Mancini loves him though. He was never going to star the derby or the big game vs Newcastle. QPR @ home is something he might be okay playing him in. Not saying it will happen, just i wouldnt get 2 City forwards.

    Hey EvS...how're tricks?
Wondering what moves you were going for and whether you can help me!? Cash mini league going down to the last game-I'm only c10points ahead!
    A) Evans &Rooney-> Lescott & Aguero. Means benching one of Demps or Cisse
    B) Demps & Cisse-> Moses & Aguero. Means playing Evans/Santon at the back!
Both are free trades. Chasing rival will probably do Rooney -> Aguero + something else as he has 2free too!

Hey Connor, all good. But ML tight.... 16ts diff into last gw. Ouch.

      Right here goes...

Don't take a hit for a defender best you can gain is a net 2pts, and that's if your trade in gets a cleanie. If you can play 3, no matter who. Play them. Appearance points alone should match you def hit trade (in).

      Can you play 3 defs?

      Btw, isn't Evans out?

Sorry just read 2 ft. Right then I think you must get aguero and hope you catch rival elsewhere.

Given Evans position what about clichy? See if you can hold Rooney.

I'm not making much sense there sorry.

I think you must get aguero and I would scarifce cisse for him, if you can play big 3 up top of Rvp, Rooney and aguero. All get something to play for in last week.

What options woudl that eave you with, if you can field 3 at back?

No worries mate-cheers for the help! Always appreciate a fellow Welshman's (only 1/2 for me I'm afraid!) help!
Cisse & Demps -> Aguero & Moses would give me a front 3 of RvP, Rooney, Aguero and a back 3 of Evans (Santon), Caulker, Walker
          Seem the right move?

          Santon should play, Evans won't.

From your 2 FT I would roll with the big 3 up top, and fund aguero from who ever in midfield that ain't going to play.

I do worry selling Demspey though.... I have him, bale, Siggy, DVD and pienaar in mid. I may bench pienaar. But confused. I am holding 16pt lead and would kill for 2 free trades.

I would be dead set on Rooney - RVP - aguero if I could do that with no hit šŸ™

          Hey spike.

I never play for rank but ££££SSS ML title, and theme rank just added bonus that comes with it (hopefully).

I am only 16 pts up, and been taking hits lately to counter act my oppo. If you check out my transfer history you will notice the difference in my hit level lat 3 weeks compared to all season... Quite marked.

Keen to get your thoughts on these...

    a) Sess + Suarez -> Aguero + Moses

    or

    b) Sess + Suarez -> Silva + Sturridge

Both would be 4 pt hits (got no attacking Chelsea or Man City currently)

I would bench Pienaar. Everton have nowt to play for and have the toughest match.
United could easily turn it on and score 3 at Sunderland.
Swansea will definitely score 2 or 3 vs Liverpool imo.....Liverpools season ended last night...they won't turn up on Sunday

Rubbish. If Everton have nothing to play for, then neither do Swansea and every other team not involved in the relegation / champions league scrap. Everton are one of the form teams, and it's their last home game of the season, never in a million years will Moyes let them go out with a whimper, especially with the prospect of finishing above Pool...and securing extra prize money for their finish....
